What a hard-working team !! Everytime I come here the service is the best ! Amanda is so sweet and always let’s everyone know that the team will be right with us if we’re waiting in line. Tomas today seemed so happy and friendly and he really made my experience great with his positivity and Andrew rang me up very kindly ! All in all, such a great team that makes for a great experience ! And awesome food(:

Ask for double onion on a foot long and the guy at the counter gives me about 10 little pieces. I ask for more and he says, «That is already over double.» What is a normal amount then, a piece of onion every 6 inches. I understand cost control, but that is just being unpleasant to the customer. I will make sure to tell everyone I see not to go here. Might as well go to Jersey Mike’s Subs instead of this skimped out place. To top it off, the guy’s coworker looked completely embarrassed being next to him. Of course, she gave normal portions to the next person.

I’m a big subway fan. I know it’s not the BEST sandwich in the world but it’s cheap and quick and their veggies are usually fresh which I load up on. Super friendly people there making the sandwiches and I love that they are starting to offer more healthful options for kids.

Your pretty typical Subway, small, but with a nice quiet seating area in the back. Good, central location in downtown La Jolla at the end of a strip of stores; easy to spot and access from Girard Ave. Parking can be annoying and difficult since you can’t park in the Vons’ parking lot(don’t even try). The produce was fresh and the place was clean and well stocked. They offer 10% off regular prices to local employees too! My review is for the service. Both my mom and I had two great employees make our meals. Tomas, who made my salad did a great job. He didn’t chop the lettuce(which is already shredded and turns to much if shredded) and even put a few extra tomatoes and cucumbers on top to «garnish» it. He listened to everything I said, worked fast and was beyond friendly. He offered to give me sauces on the side, asked me if I wanted croutons. He made the whole experience a pleasure with his fun attitude; he was clearly enjoying his job! My only issue is that he was almost finished making my salad he realized he was out of the(standard serving) of the new rotisserie chicken I had wanted to try. I wished he had checked earlier. He did give me what he had, though, in addition to the roasted turkey breast I subbed it out for.(The rotisserie chicken is delicious; much better than most of the protein at Subway). He seems to take pride in his work, so I’m sure it was a learning lesson for him. He was very nice and had no issue in ringing me up/accepting my coupons and receipt for my free cookie(just do the survey from your previous receipt and write down the code). Overall, a typically good Subway meal with a fantastic customer service experience.

I feel it is important to review on costumer service and food. I believe these two things make a GREAT Experience. Today we had a long day of Christmas Shopping, we walked in to Subway with our 2 kids .This establishment was clean. William helped us and he had GREAT costumer Service and he made us some delicious sandwiches. William was patient and very friendly. We were very satisfied with the service and our food. Thank you.

Most subways are run of the mill, at least they try to make your sandwich in an orderly fashion but every time my co workers or I have been here, the employees and owners have the worst attitudes. They slop your food onto some bread and expect you to pay money for it? No thanks. Garbage. So are the people that work there.

This subway is not nearly as bad as everyone says it is. I’ve been here a number of times and have never had a problem. Actually, I’ve had great service. I once called twenty minutes before closing to make sure they were still open and they welcomed me to come in and make my sandwich.

I’ve been to this Subway a number of times and haven’t had any problems here. It’s your typical Subway and the employees have been friendly to me. They aren’t as quick as other Subways I’ve been to, but they haven’t been the slowest either. I haven’t had any problems with the subs I’ve gotten from here. They take credit card, but only Visa and Mastercard.

It’s kinda irritating when the store hours posted on the window says it closes at 10pm. When i got there at 9pm they were all in there sitting at the table and would not open the door for me, and they looked at me like they don’t speak English! so upsetting!!!

Never again! Ordered a foot long, roast beef on honey oat, lettuce, tomatoe, nothing fancy. But about 30 mins. after I ate it I was in the bathroom for the next 2 hrs. My advice if you want a good sandwich go to the deli in Von’s. It was obvious someone did not wash their hands!

This is the only subway I’ve been to where they cut the egg in half when you order a breakfast sub. Makes you wonder what other shortcuts they do at this store.

So funny that everyone has had the same experience with the young Indian woman(whom I think is the owners wife)… Someone should tell the owner to keep his wife out of the restaurant because she is the reason I don’t go here!

The woman that works here, looks to be the owner as she is here a lot, is the absolute WORST. Everytime i go here she is rude and impatient and looks like she is just a horrible person to work for. The employees seem unhappy and you get your subway sandwich after waiting in the lunch rush line and you get to the owner lady at the end of the line to pay and she just finalizes how the experience feels. Horrible service! too bad they have the $ 5 foot longs and are the only subway in this area, and im poor otherwise i would never go here.
