Tried their acai bowl. It was delicious– i especially liked the coconut flakes. I dislike coconut but my only exception is on acai bowls and this one especially tasted delicious. I really enjoyed it and the ladies there were super nice. The only thing though is they had a lot of fruit flies, which i assume its difficult to get rid of but you know. Who likes seeing so many fruit flies? I would come here again!

Finally! Why did it take so long for someone to open a restaurant with ample options of light, fresh, quick, affordable, delicious food?! I have had the chicken wrap, salmon salad, and Greek energy bowl. All have surpassed my expectations. Please BEFRESH, don’t change anything!!!

Fresh and made on the spot eats is what this place is all about! I stopped in upon opening on a early Saturday morning and ordered the breakfast wrap which consisted of a spinach wrap, chopped ham, scrambled eggs, avocado, and a side of green salsa for $ 5. The wrap arrived piping hot and well stuffed with all its ingredients. I thought the eggs were a little under done or resembled more of a soft scramble. They were lightly seasoned so I added a touch of salt and a moderate amount of black pepper. The ham was tender and savory and the avocado slices ripe and creamy. The spinach wrap had very good flavor and held up very well to the abundance of ingredients inside. The slice the wrap into halves for ease of eating which I appreciated. The green house salsa I tried with the wrap was very good. It was a zesty salsa with a slight acidity. It did not provide much heat, but if it had a good balanced flavor. The owners, a husband and wife time, were simply down to earth types of peeps. They were very amiable towards me and fellow customers that walked in during my visit. They also offer a variety of smoothies. energy bowls, natural juices, and tortas and sandwiches made with a healthy touch.

Huge fan of fresh and affordable food! We ordered the chicken salad which came with strawberries and mango, ceviche, and 2 acai bowls! Was not expecting it to be as phenomenal it was! Service was great too. The only reason I can’t give this place FIVE stars because there wasn’t a bathroom. A Mom with kids can’t handle that. Otherwise, awesome place.

A great restaurant my best friend and I stopped at on our travel between LA and San Diego. Close to the beach side, fresh ingredients, and delicious Horchata to boot!

If you like fresh, affordable, delicious, healthy food you must check out BEFRESHASAP. My bf and I ordered the salmon salad, Turkey Torta, and shrimp ceviche. Salmon seemed very fresh, salad was clean and simple and comes with avocado, I would def order again. The turkey Torta was very yummy as well, we substituted the chipotle sauce for the mayo and I think that made the sandwhich. I recommend that anyone who likes chipotle to add the sauce. The ceviche was good, but it was outshined by our other dishes. They also have a lot of traditional Mexican fruit dishes, like pico de gallo and echamochas, which was a pleasant surprise, it’s hard to find that around here. We were too full to try everything we wanted to try so we will definitely be back to try out more!

It looks like a regular neighborhood yogurt place, don’t underestimate the place, you need to go in to see why the reviews are 5 stars. The cashier lady is super nice and attentive. Even the guy behind is so sweet. He sees I sit by the window so he comes over, takes down the posters so I could see the street. Awww! Fruits! Acai bowl is truly delicious. Melting ice-cream with all healthy and juicy fruits. I have watermelon smoothie, kinda cold for this windy night but worth it. Love the freshness and a cute, spacious atmosphere. Still hungry? There is a fish market restaurant right opposite

THISPLACEISGREAT. Ordered the shrimp ceviche and chicken wrap, split it with a friend and was super full afterwards! The food was so good we HAD to try the Greek energy bowl and t was SOOO good. Food was incredibly fresh and healthy, and it was cheap! This place will be seeing a lot more poor college students because we are gonna advertise the heck out of this restaurant.

Ordered an acai bowl in a hot day! Loved it! My favorite part of the bowl was the honey on top of the acai the acai blend was pretty frozen though when i got it the store itself was very cold, that’s why we decided to do take out instead, but otherwise, i would recommend this place!

I work just down the street so figured I’d walk over to this joint and see if they were viable place for lunch. I couldn’t decide if I was in the mood for sweet or savory so I got both an acai bowl and a turkey wrap. I did notice that the menu said the acai bowl was $ 6.99 yet when I sat down and looked at my receipt it said $ 7.49 so I was semi annoyed about that but 1) it wasn’t worth the 50 cents to get up and argue about it and 2) it is extremely difficult to get a well-priced acai bowl at other places in La Jolla. I’ve actually gotten one from a certain juice bar that I will not name… that was no joke $ 14 and change. In any case, the acai was a large portion of the frozen kind(doesn’t look like they blend it with bananas, milk, or anything like that) and then they top it with strawberries, banana, coconut, and honey. It was delicious, especially when the acai started melting a bit and became more like an acai bowl and less like a dessert: D Again, not a problem for me that it was frozen. Even the lady standing at the register commented, «Mmmm now that looks good» as it was pushed onto the counter. On to the wrap — now I don’t really know what I was expecting but the wrap was very basic. It actually looks exactly like the photo they have on their takeout menu or in their window. And for $ 4.99 I guess you can’t really expect anything extravagant. But it is very simply a few thick slices of turkey deli-style meat, a bunch of lettuce, a sliced tomato, some avocado, and chunks of white cheese. I don’t know if it was that I was expecting the turkey or cheese to be warm, but it really felt like something I could have made at home. It wasn’t bad, but it was exactly what you would expect for $ 4.99. Overall I would definitely go back and I’m looking forward to trying more things on the menu.

The great service + overall experience at this place was what compelled me to write my first Unilocal review! Came here with a couple friends since we were craving Acai bowls and this place was open later than most other juice/Acai places in the area. We ordered the Pitaya bowl with all the regular toppings of their Acai bowl(strawberries, bananas, granola, shredded coconut, and honey) and it was lovely~ Super fresh, exactly what we were looking for. Also good portion size for $ 7. The person who helped us was super nice and brought out a complimentary chicken wrap as well, which was really tasty. I definitely plan on going back for the Pitaya bowl and hope they keep it up as they get more traffic(store only opened ~2 months ago).

I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying two versions of their vegetarian ceviche tostadas and both were sooooo good. People are saying the price is right, but honestly I think they need to raise their prices a little. Everything is great and super fresh! I will be back and I hope to see this place getting the business it deserves soon.

Two thumbs up! So glad I stumbled across this place! Apparently they’ve only been open for 7 weeks, but I can only imagine their fan base to go up from here. I tried the«be fresh» smoothie, and it was delicious. Perfect texture and not too sour. They also give you the option to customize your smoothie, but I played it safe today. While my friend and I were waiting for our smoothies, the cashier surprised us with free Chamango samples! Although, I wouldn’t consider them samples because she gave us a generous cup full. It was such a nice thing for her to do, and the Chamango was tasty! As for the space, it’s huge! Plenty of seating, nice open concept with glass windows facing Pearl Street. The smoothies are great, but the service is what makes me want to come back. I can’t wait to explore their menu!

Totally worth the jogg there! That’s right, I didn’t drive… I jogged to this place! That’s how badly I wanted to try it out. Parking in that area is pretty bad and I only had so much time. I called in the order and the lady that I spoke to was very nice and helpful. So I took off and shortly after made it there, panting and gasping for air, but very eager, excited and ready to give this place a try! I ended up getting the chicken torta, which was pretty amazing! When I ordered the torta, I asked the lady what ingredients came with it. She proceeded to tell me the list of ingredients and at the end she added, «all the ingredients are very, very fresh.» Well, I thought to myself, good marketing strategy, of course you want to tell the customer the ingredients are fresh. See, the best part about this is that, it wasn’t just for advertising purposes, the ingredients were actually VERYFRESH. The torta comes with onions, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, chipotle sauce and jalapenos on a torta roll. The portion was more than enough for one person and the price was very reasonable. I ate half of it and shared the other half with my brother. The chicken breast was tasty and the japalenos added a nice spicy touch. After I told the gentleman helping me at the register that I had jogged there, he smiled and offered me a free drink! I ended up choosing the Jamaica drink, which was delicious too! So thank you for the drink! Definitely coming back to try other items on their menu! I love the fact that this is a family owned business; they are doing everything right, wonderful customer service and delicious food!

I am SOHAPPY I stumbled upon this place. I ordered the chicken Torta and was so impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the bread was heavenly. The Torta is huge and could definitely be split between two people. Also the fruit juice was delicious! The site was clean and inviting. Eli was so nice and gave great recommendations and samples. I will for sure add this place to my regular spots. I can’t wait to go back for breakfast!

I had my favorite acai bowl in San Diego here. They just opened this past weekend and I stumbled upon here after hot yoga class. They don’t blend the acai in concentrated juice so their consistency is thick just how I like it. They were really nice to replaced the strawberries with papaya for me. The granola looked like toasted oatmeal, not sure if that’s the healthy case but I like it.

Great place for a salad and sandwich. All their sandwiches come with a fresh salad that had mango and all kinds of good stuff. They also have smoothies and breakfast items which I look forward to trying.
