This outfit might do good work at a fair price – I don’t know. But they continually ignore our neighborhood’s no-​solicitation policy. They also ignore the no-​soliciting sign on my front door. I’ve spoken to them about this when they come to the door, and I’ve called them to speak about it, but they continue to ignore the policy. I won’t do business with a company that ignores a neighborhood policy like that.

These folks were doing a job for my neighbor, and left their business card on my door. I needed some work done so I called, and they showed up quickly & gave me a very competitive bid. I needed 5 dead trees removed from my property. They arrived the next morning, cut & removed the trees. They didn’t upset my dogs, didn’t start chainsaws at 6AM to upset my neighbors, and generally treated my property with respect. When they finished, their crew foreman made sure I walked the property with him and was satisfied with the work. He also made recommendations for further work, to improve the health of my other trees.
I will hire AJ Tree Services again for work at my home.
Five stars would be if they offered something like board-​certified master arborists or master gardeners. Given the price and that it’s a small startup company, I cannot expect this level of expertise. But I’m definitely happy with the cut & remove & be respectful of their customers.
