I have banked at the GEFCU at 6314 S. 1st Street for over 15 years. The ladies there are awesome. Seriously. I bank with three other credit unions as well and while the other credit unions are good, none are as good as the GEFCU on South First Street. These people know me by name. They treat me with respect. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and conscientious. I am moving out of Austin and I will MOURN their loss. I don’t think I’ve ever banked with any other credit union or bank that was nearly as good and I mean this sincerely. Wish I could give them 10 stars.
