Our favorite new place in Orlando. True Moroccan food with an authentic taste, the Chef(Sami), was a chef to the Moroccan royal family, and this is where you will get a truly royal treat. I highly recommend.

Food was very mediocre. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but my boyfriend and I both agree the food was super disappointing and not worth the money we spent. We are from out of town and we ordered for delivery. The reviews looked promising but didn’t live up to the expectations.

My family had spent some time several years ago in Marrakesh Morocco. We fell in love with the cuisine, especially food cooked in Tagines, red clay pots shaped like volcanoes. So we jumped when we found a tagine restaurant right near our hotel. Dinner was perfect. We had roasted lamb served with stewed prunes and pickled lemons. A tower of dark sweet meat barely clinging to the bone. The roasted chicken(also cooked in a tagine) was moist and tangy. Best chicken I’ve ever eaten even counting similar ones in Turkey and Morocco. spices in both dishes were complex and totally different from each other. Desserts were baklava and am exquisite dark chocolate mousse. Don’t miss this restaurant. So we went back to Tagine Gourmet for lunch the next day. Chef Sami promised us a meal we wouldn’t forget. So we skipped breakfast at the hotel. I know that superlatives may ring on some deaf ears, but hear me out. I can’t think of another place I’ve eaten with this attention to detail. Chef Sami laid out a spread of Mediterranean dishes ranging from hummus and a delicious eggplant salad to spicy tuna, chicken schwarma, homemade kofte and merguez, and an amazing red pepper relish. Accompanied by freshly baked baguettes. To this spread Chef Sami brought a tagine with a whole fresh fish, head and bones included. The flesh fell off the bones like the chicken of the night before. Moist, succulent, nuanced flavor. To prepare us for a dessert that Sami called a «taste of heaven» we had a palate cleanser of pure strawberry sorbet. Perfect! The dessert was a homemade croissant«sandwich«with dark chocolate and hazelnuts, topped with almond butter(I think.) mouth watering, light, and buttery. I’ll attach the photos I took. Chef Sami told us about his life as chef to the King of Morocco. He made my wife and me feel like royalty too.

Incredible restaurant! Freshly baked bread and delicious authentic cuisine. The owner is a former chef to the royal Moroccan family and he makes everything fresh(including sausage, stews, pastries, breads, ice cream, etc). Moreover he greets you personally and explains all of the dishes. An absolutely wonderful dining experience that I look forward to enjoying many more times! Highly recommended!

Food was yummy! My couscous was a little too peppery, but everything was delicious. My husband and I had the leg of lamb. The portions were huge! I think one plate is for two people. We also had the chicken tagine, which was very tender.

First time ordering from them via Unilocal’s Eat Delivery; Delivery was quick. The«French Fries Seasoned» weren’t all that seasoned — a little bit of flavor, and were pretty soggy when they showed up. The«Tunisian Egg Brick» was a new experience so I can’t judge it other than it looked like what pictures on the internet described … I found the flavor a bit bland but it was ok. They included 1 slice of lemon but I ended up having to add way more in order to get some flavor. Merguez can best be desribed as a sort of spicy hotdog sandwich with two tiny spicy hotdogs stuff into hoagie bun stuffed with french fries and some sauce… and considering the 3 things came to about $ 20 … Not impressed

Food is DELICIOUS. I tried the Tunisian Egg Brick and Chicken Shawarma sandwich and both were very good. The staff is also very kind and helpful. Love this place & I’ll be eating here again soon. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Hands down the best Mediterranean restaurant in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. The lamb couscous with veggies and a side of tfaya(carmelized onions and raisins) transported me back to Morocco. We also tried the Tunisian ojja(tomato, pepper, and garlic sauce with eggs) and merguez(beef and lamb sausage). Try the Moroccan mint tea and strawberry granitas for dessert absolutely delicious and refreshing! The service was very friendly. It was such a treat, we’ve eaten there a few times already and cannot wait to go back!
