Melhor falafel e melhor húmus da vida! O lugar é simples, mas é uma alternativa excelente aos restaurantes turísticos de Orlando, e muito bem servido!

Great find! The people here are super nice and we left with our taste buds happy and belly full. Their hummus and kofta was AMAZING! We also got their hot tea with mint and kibbeh which was delicious, too. I’m sure I’m spelling it all wrong, but nevertheless, you should eat here! Ditch the tourist places and get some real food here.

Very nice little place. The falafel is outstanding, they er the Kings. We had sampler plates and all the items were good, but the falafel stood out. Service was very friendly and helpful.

Solid, fresh middle eastern food. Cute restaurant inside. Free wifi. Ordering can sometimes be confusing, so ask for a menu. Love the fresh tabouli.

We have to say the food was really good, especially because we did take out. But when we called to order, the man was pretty rude. We asked if he could add chicken to a falafel and he refused to. He asked… «Do you have a menu? Do you see a chicken falafel?» Like dude really? You can’t add chicken? What the heck. It’s not that hard to grill chicken and add to a sandwich. And how hard is it to be nice? I wasn’t asking for the keys to the resturaunt. Just chicken! But whatever, the food was pretty decent so for that 3 stars

You know how cheap these people are when it looks more like Quiznos than a Mediterranean joint(not joking). This is the type of place that doesn’t give ketchup with the fries to save money and avoids giving it to you after you ask. This is the type of place you have to negotiate what you ordered at the register because they never wrote it down. Order to-go even if you plan on staying here, in order to avoid terrible service by a rude owner. Expect to wait 20 minutes for a gyro and kabob. Make sure to confirm your order because sometimes they give a small hummus when you order large. Kefta kabob(4⁄5): pretty well seasoned sausage looking ground beef. A little too salty. The vegetables that come with it are disgustingly soaked in oil inedible. Gyro:(3⁄5) most ordinary gyro ever. Bread is not made fresh. Just heated up out of freezer Falafel(4⁄5): not that flavorful but still pretty good. Just can’t hang with falafel of kabobalicious in Austin or Amsterdam falafel in DC. Hummus(1⁄5): really liquidy and kind of lacking flavor. Tastes watered down.

I ordered the Chicken Ticka with house salad and hummus. It came with four pita halves. The chicken had a good flavor and just the right amount of spice. The hummus was good but the bread was not that great. I didn’t care for the salad that much. A couple of bites had an off taste and the salad dressing they use doesn’t have much flavor. The floors could use a good cleaning, as they were visibly dirty. There were burned-out light bulbs in a couple of the light fixtures and I think the menus hanging from the ceiling were lighted at one time but were either off or all the bulbs were burned out because it was dark and very difficult to read. Good thing they had some printed paper menus sitting near the register.

Thank you Unilocalers for making this place stand out. My boyfriend and I went here after traveling for 9 hours and it was a much needed treat! The food was delicious, staff was great and we got to chill outside with a hookah(which was the first thing my boyfriend ordered off the menu.) the food here tastes authentic and fresh wish little gems like this were easier to find in Seattle. A must go!

Would have never entered this place if it were not for our fellow reviewers!!! Thanks! This place is sort of a fast food but going to «table service»… The gent that took care of us was very good! As for food, the falafel was good, well prepared and tasty… Babaganogh, for my taste missing smoke… A little lame, but my wife liked it. The tabouleh was also quite good… We also had a platter of chicken tikka. Quite nice but careful it is spicy! All in all, a quick bite with great service… Enjoy

A-ok The employees working behind the counter are super nice. The bf accidentally ordered falafel not knowing it was vegetarian. I didn’t hear his order so I corrected him probably 5 min later. The kitchen gladly changed his order and he got a chicken shwarma. I got a gyro in a pita and a kibbeh. Great kibbeh with excellent seasoning! Gyro was very tasty. Tzatiki and vegetables also tasted very fresh and the naan was good quality. My only recommendation would for this restaurant to fix up the place a bit more. The floor is a bit uneven as I could tell from our wobbly tables. The bathrooms and counters could also use some love.

Whether making sandwiches or platters, the King serves consistently good food every time. I stop in about every other month while in town and have not been disappointed with the taste, quality, and quantity of the food. My favorite: the kifta platter with the harira soup, hummus, rice, and potato and carrot slices. Maybe they don’t make their own pita; it’s still tasty. I tried the chicken tika recently; it had a spicy kick and is also tasty. If you’re eating in and this is your first visit, pick up a menu near the register and take a seat; they’ll take your order and deliver your food to your table. You may need to refresh your own beverage, though.

I checked out this place because of the high reviews on Unilocal. Costs: $ 10.99 for Kifta platter with rice, potafows, carrots, and salad(or soup). $ 11.99 for combo platter with chicken, beef and kifta. Food: DELICIOUS! I got the kifta entrée with rice and salad. The rice was buttery, moist and fragrant. The meat was seasoned nicely and cooked well. My boyfriend got the combo platter. The chicken and kifta were great but the beef was on the dry side. Service: The waitress was very enthusiastic and sweet. She knew the menu by heart and answered all mine and my boyfriend’s questions very thoroughly.

After reading David B.‘s review and eating lots of lame overpriced meals inside and outside of the theme parks, my wife and I decided to try this place out. Aesthetically, this place needs some TLC. From outside, it looked like a cheap fast food place, we almost left, but glad we didn’t. The lighting is office-like and existing spot lights which would probably give a warming feeling were turned off. The wood flooring was in dire need of a good cleaning. At least the men’s room and kitchen looked clean. Now for the good stuff… we ordered the Falafel as an appetizer, it was very tasty. For our main entrees we ordered the Chicken Ticka and a Combination platter. Both dishes were delicious. Juicy meats and chicken, spiced just right! The rice was also delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking how delicious this meal was!!! Hands down, the most delicious food we’ve had during our 5 days in Orlando! My message to the owner of this place… fix this joint up and make this experience even better!

Quality and taste of this place definitely deserves 5 stars! We started with ½ dozen of falafels, shared a combo platter entrée(lamb, beef, and chicken with rice, hummus, veggies, and warm pita breads) and side salad, and ended with a baklava. All of the food above cost for less than $ 20. Staff are friendly and easy going. We are definitely coming back here next time we are visiting Disney world.

Date of service: Feb 12, 2015 Meal: Lunch, eat in All Ratings out of 10: Quality of food: 10 Food to Spend Value: 10 Quality of Service: 9 Overall Rating: 9+ King O Falafel has a bold name to live up to. My coworkers wanted to go there for lunch and assured me that the restaurant did indeed live up to its name and in general served fantastic Mediterranean food. Since I love this cuisine I was excited to check out the self-proclaimed King. The menu is fairly simple while still providing a lot of different options. I was actually impressed to see dolmades(listed in the menu simply as Grape Leaves), as well as Kibbah. I decided to start with an order of Dolmades and a single Kibbah. The Dolmades came as an order of 7(and for only $ 3.49!!!), and they were absolutely delicious. They had a great flavor and were made perfectly. The Kibbah, which reminds me a bit of a Samosa, was stuffed with beef, onions, and spices. It was also quite flavorful and just flat out delicious. I was in the mood for a gyro, and this is generally a good litmus test for this type of restaurant, so I forged ahead with that as my main entrée. It was a very good size, stuffed full of beef, tzatziki sauce, onions, and Jerusalem salad. It was hot and fresh, and to describe it as savory and delicious would almost be an understatement. This was quite seriously one of the best gyros I have ever had, and I enjoyed every bite. The prices are super cheap while the food quality is not super cheap, a seemingly paradoxical situation. The service was fantastic, and it is amazing how much food you get for your money. If you are looking for a gyro or just good Mediterranean food in general, King O Falafel will fit the bill nicely without making your wallet complain a bit.

Another Unilocal review said it best: in a land of terrible food this place stands out. They are correct. Meanwhile, King O Falafel isn’t the greatest Middle Eastern food you’ll ever yet. Not even close. However, in this neighborhood it’s better than you’d expect. Seeing so many 5-star reviews I drove nearly 25 minutes from where we were staying near the Orange County Convention Center and expected incredible Middle Eastern food. While the service was top-notch the food simply rivals any other place like this in the country. It’s food, average food. If you’ve eaten Middle Eastern food often, you’ll agree. If you’ve only had it a few times you’ll like say this is the best ever. To be a great Middle Eastern/Greek/etc restaurant you’ve at least have to make your own pita. They don’t. The pita is store bought and doesn’t taste fresh. Meanwhile, you won’t be disappointed with their meats. While most is served cafeteria style it remains good flavor and will keep anyone satisfied. Try the kifta. Keep in mind, this isn’t a destination restaurant. It’s a small, local spot, situated in a strip mall. Fortunately, the food is well priced and it stays open late. And, do expect to be surrounded by neighborhood folks rather than the Disney World family crowd. Another plus is the price. You won’t pay theme park prices here.

This is great affordable Middle Eastern restaurant. It was very inexpensive and the portions were very generous. This place is solid. The combination platter is quite large and it serves enough for two people. It also includes a delicious large salad which we also shared. The staff were very friendly too and allowed us to get both a bit of rice and hummus in our combo platter. I recommend doing that! The meats in the combo platter were excellent! They were very moist and flavorful. The veggies were really good too! We also shared the falafel appetizer to start. We ordered the 12 piece, which was ample! We would have been fine with the 6 piece. I’m super choosy with falafel. I’ve only ever liked falafel once. The texture on their falafel was good; it was crisp on the outside(maybe slightly too crispy?) and soft on the inside, but I didn’t care for the flavor as much though. Don’t miss the tasty pickles served along side; they were excellent! I would definitely come here again!
