It’s just OK. They do have a great & tasty veggie sandwich but honestly it’s pretty overpriced for what it is (somewhere around 10 bucks after tax +tip). Not long after I came here a couple times for the veggie sandwich, I figured out how to make it at home with the same ingredients for less (of course). Nothing complicated or over the top.
Granted, I’d rather take my money here for a few more dollars than subway or jimmy johns and support a growing local small business in a pinch.
It may be a different story if you get other sandwiches or soups or whatever else they offer (there seems to be plenty of refrigerated deli sides to choose from) so I’d recommend trying it at least once!

Went here on the basis of the high overall Unilocal rating and an Amazon Local deal, but I was not impressed. For starters, I don’t understand why «Fine» should be part of this business’ name when there is nothing exceptional about the food or the environment. Though four months old, It has the stark ambiance of a just-​opened restaurant, complete with temporary plastic banner signage that’s extremely difficult to see from the street. And in general, it seems to be run incompetently.
The employee working as cook-​server-​cashier when I went in was very pleasant. However, when I saw him wipe his nose with his bare hand and continue making my sandwich, I felt queasy. At that point, I was tempted to cancel my order and just walk out. But I had already paid — and I was hungry. So I ate the inside of the sandwich and left the bread, figuring that that was what came in contact with his germy hand.
They were out of soup with a couple of hours left before closing, so I didn’t try that. Prices are reasonable; however, given the apparent lack of health standards/​training of employees and just average food, I will not be back.

I just moved to the area and work nearby, and was thrilled to see a place so close with fresh food! I had a nice chat with Fran, and a wonderful Tuna sandwhich. The food is great, it was ready quickly, and this place will definitely become a regular lunch stop for me. Try it!!!

My husband and I came in because we had bought a Groupon here. We had no expectations going in, but will definitely be coming back! I believe it was the owner who made us our sandwiches — which were DELICIOUS. I had the Turkey Pesto Sandwich (homemade pesto sauce which was amazing), and my husband had the Bacon Brie Sandwich. We loved them both. It sometimes feels like its rare to go somewhere where both the food and the service are so good, so we were pleasantly surprised with our experience here. The owner was so friendly and sweet; just generally a pleasure to interact with. We loved it. We’re excited to have them in Kirkland.

Finally! A soup & sandwich shop in Kirkland. Everything here is fresh and homemade. Both sandwiches I’ve tried (the Turkey Pesto and Bacon Brie Apple) have been incredible. This place is such a breath of fresh air after most lunch places in Kirkland that are fast make you feel weighed down after eating. I also love that you can do a ½ Soup, ½ Salad, or ½ sandwich combo so that you can try all the different menu items. I hope more people in Kirkland discover this lunch place gem – I really want it to stick around!!! It makes me want the weather to turn cool so that I can eat soup here every day. Yummy!

I tried this place a couple weeks ago and have been eating here 3 times a week since!
Fran has a great selection of soups, sandwiches, and salads.
Each day she has a vegetarian option soup. And she has a combo for half sandwich and cup of soup which I always get.
I’ve tried a few different sandwiches (loved them all) and most of the soups (loved them as well).
She makes everything from scratch.
All the flavors mix well together. The turkey pesto sandwich is always a perfect balance of all the delicate flavors.
I love this place and recommend it to everyone I know.
