Nadya has done an amazing job with my foil! I am very happy with the results. Here is the story: I found myself at an awkward transitional stage with my hair. I decided to stop dying it (dying is expensive, time-​consuming, and not that great for one’s scalp) and let my grey grow out. But what do I do in between? Walking around with roots screaming against the flat home-​dyed chestnut-​colored hair was not an option. Neither was cutting my hair really short. I consulted Nadya, thinking that, maybe, I would dye my hair blond while letting it grow out because I thought that blond would blend better with grey. Instead, very cleverly, Nadya recommended highlighting foil that would blend with my salt-​and-​pepper grey and is much gentler on one’s hair than stripping dark color off entirely. The resulting look with the beautiful haircut of inverted bob (also by Nadya) is the best I have ever had. Not only it now looks natural with my roots, it looks elegant, soft, and shiny, and brings the blue/​grey of my eyes out so nicely! I only ask myself why I did not do this earlier.

Teresa is amazing! Best haircuts I have ever gotten, recommended her to a friend even and she loved her haircuts too! She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect! Pricing is AMAZING!!! I will forever go here, first place I have had such great service and experience with for haircuts!

I can’t say enough about Nadya the owner-​her work is actually art it is so beautiful-​she also does hair cuts which is a bonus as a lot of colorists do not do hair cuts-​Keoni also does wonderful work-​I have seen him actually take a bad color that someone walks in with and transpose that person to a person with Beautiful color-​they both have a wonderful knowledge of years of experience-​I appreciate Nadya more than I can say-​one more thing-​once you go to an Aveda Salon-​you will never go anywhere else-​I promise

Keoni cut my hair, first time visitor of this salon. He did a great job, and was extremely pleasant to visit with. I will most definitely be back!

I love love this place. Can’t say enough good things about Nadia & Keoni. Been coming here for many years even though I moved farther away. It’s not a convenient drive but I don’t want to leave! :)

I was excited to try salon unmixed because of the reviews. I was rather disappointed. The actual salon was so cute and modern! I was with Thersea and she was super friendly but unfortunately my haircut was not good. I have short bob and asked for a trim and ended up with all my hair being one length and one side longer than the other by about an inch. I asked her to fix it and it is still not even. I enjoyed the atmosphere but would have preferred a better haircut.

Keoni did an amazing foil for blonde highlights. I’m definitely going back. Beautiful golden color. Don’t let his young age fool you. He is good.

I think they are great at hair coloring! The saloon uses very safe natural products. Plus I enjoy receiving a complimentary hand massage with Aveda lotion while waiting my hair get colored.

Having moved to Seattle from out of state, I was really happy to find this salon. Nadya, the owner, is an excellent stylist. She has a vision and a sense of style and is able to advise on what works for me while incorporating my feedback. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Salon Unmixed.

I went here based off of location more than any prior knowledge. I was dismayed when I walked into find it was an aveda salon. Aveda is a high end salon chain, for the uninnitiated, that tends to make me feel uncomfortable. I’m not sure why, I’ve been to two up north that both gave me that «you’re not posh enough» and/​or «you’re not pretty enough» vibe, even though the staff were outwardly nice. As a general rule, i would walk away overcharged, up sold on products I didn’t need, and slightly unsatisfied with my hair style. However, this particular aveda salon may be the exception to the rule. The people were nice, but what I really liked was they were normal. They weren’t all high-​faluting, holier than thou about their store or their products. They performed a service and didn’t give me a huge hassle. Additionally, the woman who cut my hair did a fantastic job, and wasnt overly chatty (which is a bonus in my book) More than a week later, and I’m still loving it, because she listened to what I wanted. The woman at the register casually asked if I was interested in any products, and didn’t try to tackle me to the ground when I said no. Awesome. I will be back!

Have you even been to one of the big fancy salons where they don’t know your name? Let alone remember how you part your hair.
Not this one!!!
They are amazing, I feel like family.
The place is easy going and very inviting.
Keoni is an artist, skillfully weaving color and cutting each strand so if falls just right.
And I always leave with AMAZING Hair.
And I love that they use Aveda products, great healthy hair, what could be better?

I went to Salon Unmixed because of an ad on Craigslist.
First off, the gal I was seeing (Gwen) was 35 minutes late getting started.
After a brief discussion about what I wanted, she got started.
About 90 minutes later, with me being left under the dryer for 60 of that with no explanation, we were off to get shampooed.
At this point, I was running late for my next appointment and ended up having to leave with wet hair.
Overall, the color she did turned out just fine. I just wish it was a better experience.
