This is a chic salon right in the middle of construction yuk on 85^th. There is a ton of products, beauticians and beverages to choose from. Variety is plentiful. The place is full of activity and smiles. My stylist is Charli. She does a fantastic job!

DONT COME HERE TO GET EYELASH EXTENSIONS!!!
Mimi herself was very nice at first. During the process she got glue into my eyes and my eyes were burning & extremely red the whole time. Not only that but she glued my upper and lower lashes together so I couldn’t open my eyes. She used some type of instrument to separate my lashes and ended up cutting my eyeball. I had to go to an emergency clinic where they checked how severe the damage was & prescribed medication.
Back to after she finished applying the eyelashes… after all that pain I looked in the mirror to the worst job. The extensions were practically straight, you could see my natural lashes sticking out, extensions where glued on my eyelids instead of my lashes, and to top it off she didn’t even place extensions on most of my eyelashes. I had chunks of my natural lashes still without extensions. I told her I wasn’t satisfied with her service and she told me that if I pay her an additional $ 25 on top of the $ 75 for the extensions then she would remove all of them. Why on earth would I pay $ 100 for nothing but pain??? I then asked her if instead she could please apply more extensions on. She then started yelling at me & accused me of using her and said that I was trying to get out of paying her and that she is going to sue me and call the cops. I asked to speak to her manager and she LOCKED me in her room to go get her!!! Her «manager» came and sided with me. She also noticed everything I noticed. Mimi then added more extensions to my lashes. I payed her. Still tipped her since she did work for a while. But I will NEVER be returning here ever again.

Mimi is very kind and makes you feel very comfortable being in her salon. The reason why I initially came here was because of a groupon deal for lash extensions. Although the lashes I got were beautiful, the process was pretty painful.
When I got my fill, she would pick along the old lashes, snagging my real lashes off. She told me it was because she is just removing the ones that were about to come off, and I understand that needs to happen, but it should absolutely not be a painful process. Plus it took off several of my actual lashes off. Also, after everything was done the glue stung my eyes terribly — tears rolled down my face because it was so painful.
Again, Mimi is a wonderful person and she really does care for her clients. She’s also always busy, which makes it difficult to plan a fill.
All in all, I won’t be back. There are other places that know how to fill lashes without any sort of pain for the same cost or less.

I normally am not the one to write reviews! BUT, I love coming here to get my eyelashes done by Mimi! I have followed her from one other salon, and I love how friendly she is, and how I can fall asleep while she does my eyelash extension fills! She does such a great job, my family and friends don’t even realize I get them done every two weeks! I am the type of person to roll around in bed, and complete forget that I have my eyelashes done. They last for so long! Sometimes I can push out my fill to a month! (But I try not to) I would definitely recommend Mimi to anyone that wants their lashes done! AND I love the fact she just added manicure and pedicures too!

I get my lashes done by Mimi every two weeks and let me tell you she is a God send. It’s been about three years and I’m still a Happy customer. I highly recommend her! She’s is amazing!

This place is super cute. I haven’t had my hair done here. This is strictly based on my eyelash services. The tech Mimi is very nice and makes you comfortable before she gets started. She even had a blanket in case you tend to get cold. My complaint is mostly about the burning in my right eye. I’m use to an occasional mild burn if the gel pad slips but this time my eye was actually irritated and blood shot for about 2 days. My eyelashes did stay on and looked beautiful for at least 3 weeks. So I would think she uses good product. I’m just worried about long term effects and damaging my vision.
