Our whole family has been going to Dr. Cheung for many years. They have always done an excellent job on the six of us. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone! Dr. Cheung is an awesome dentist! We would never go anywhere else.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Cheung, and his staff. I have been going there for over 15 years and always look forward to my visits. I don’t even live in the area any more but make a point to coming in twice a year for my checkups. The staff is very friendly, and always make me feel very welcome. The office was recently updated with fresh décor and design. Dr. Cheung seems to keep the office appointed with the latest in technology and equipment.
The front office is great with scheduling and i have never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment. Recently they have implemented an automated text message system that informs me of my appointments. I have had a lot of work done here throughout the years and Dr. Cheung and his staff is very skilled and efficient. I trust that I am in the best hands.
Going to the dentist seems to always carry a negative stigma, but I thoroughly enjoyment my visits.

I recommend Dr. Louis K. Cheung and his dental team to anyone who needs dental advice and help. I have had the good fortune to have had Dr. Cheung do my complex restorative dentistry for the past 10 years. The quality of his work is incredible and artfully done. Dr. Cheung is very professional, patient and through in offering me information about the procedures involved in the various dental choices. He and his staff take the extra care to make sure you are comfortable while you are in the dental chair. Jill Gallagher is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. She is experienced, knowledgeable, skilled, plus very gentle. The great front office staff is pleasant, helpful, and keeps the schedule running on time. I love my dental experience with Dr. Cheung’s office.

I haven’t been to Dr. Cheung for years so possibly he’s improved. But all the work he did on me had to be redone within 2 years. Two fillings had to be redone (I have some that are over 30 years old and going strong from another dentist) and a crown he did on me actually shattered when I was eating a potato chip.
Turns out he put a delicate porcelain crown on a molar which is contraindicated for molars because of the chewing pressure exerted. I already had another porcelain-​covered metal crown across from it (which is much stronger), so I’m not sure why he didn’t go that route and I guess I assumed he had until it shattered. And I have a history of grinding my teeth – another good indication that a stronger crown was needed – his office even tried to get me to buy a biteguard for my grinding, so they were well aware of the grinding problem.
Silly me, I thought he knew what he was doing, so I didn’t ask enough questions. I ended up having to pay over $ 1000 for this same tooth in two years. My insurance wouldn’t cover the 2^nd crown at all; I did get Dr. Cheung to cough up ½ on the 2^nd after giving him a hard time. At no time did he admit he’d done anything wrong – my new dentist said it was very dangerous to put a plain porcelain crown on a molar – that some of the shards could have ended up in my system, like little chunks of glass.
I’m hoping to find someone good in the Kirkland area now that I’ve moved back into town. This time I’m asking LOTS of questions.
