Get Up & Go Espresso

Get Up and Go is my go to coffee stand. The coffee is good and they have lots of food choices for those mornings when you need to grab something to eat on your way to work. Prices are better than the other options in the area and they have specials every day. Staff is great, friendly and will accommodate to your coffee needs!

Not big fan of this stand but they open early enough for me to grab a coffee before I get to work.
I work as a barista so I know about coffee as much as they do… What I’ve seen… And what I’ve taste… Not worth it!
This girl who works in the morning on weekdays put coffee already in a porta filters before and leaves it a side who knows how long… And when I get there she puts that in a machine… And here is what makes me disgusted and annoyed is that shot obviously coming out pretty bad and its about 3seconds… FIX IT! NO CREMA OR NOTHING AT ALL! 3seconds shot?! It taste so disgusting that I can’t believe their boss or no body tells anything to them? Or don’t know how to adjust a grinder or what?!
People just walk or drive few seconds and go gourmet coffee right next to it… Their coffee is so much worth paying for!

Now my «go to» espresso stand in the area, since my beloved Cloud 9 closed, this location is now the only drive through latte stand in the area outside of Starbuck’s across the street.
They have the usual assortment of additional treats and drinks you come to expect in an independent little stand such as this.
To be honest, they are not the greatest place on earth, and not the greatest of all the coffee, but they are:
Consistently well made drinks
Friendly staff, who quickly gets to know their regulars
For my drink of choice, they are $ 2 *cheaper* than Starbucks’
Easily accessible off the main thorough fare for your commute
If there were other independent shops with drive through in this immediate area that offered a little bit better made coffee or a particular brand I preferred, it would cost Get and up Go a star. I am a coffee snob in some respect, but they win me over with their customer service, too.
