I LOVE the beach house. Mainly for TWO reasons, 1) the incredible view, I mean seriously, you cannot beat that beautiful waterfront view. 2) Bottomless mimosas! Need I say more? The food is great every time I have come here. Especially love the Salmon burger and the seafood paella. DELISH. Great place to have brunch, lunch or dinner.

Mediocre food but amazing views of Lake Washington! We sat in the bar because we wanted to get seated ASAP and our waitress was in charge of the entire bar area which was crazy. She shouldn’t have had all those tables and because of that her service was slow. The food was sub par, I got a pulled pork sandwhich and it was alright, but their yam fries were GREAT and that was the only great thing about the restaurant! Go for the views and yam fries.

We went to dinner with friends here last night. The location is beautiful and sunset was really clear. I will note that my friend had the sun in his eyes the entire time but we never complain about too much sun. We found out the any wines sold by the glass are ½ off the bottle. So we ordered 2 bottles for the table. My husband and I are vegan so we were struggling with what to order. The waiter was great and asked the chef to veganize the veggie burger for us. That meant it was really just a burger patty on a lettuce bun with tomatoes and a side of mustard. That was really great of them to accommodate us and we still got to enjoy some great food. Our friends were all really happy with their meals. You really can’t beat the location and great prices. Plus, our wait stuff worked really hard to help us out. I’m giving it four stars only because I wish there were a few more salad or sandwich options for vegetarians and vegans.

My boss took me here for lunch the other day. We got in early so we got a great seat by the window. The server was fast and really nice with some casual banter. The food was great. I had the seafood Cobb salad. Even though its a salad bring your appetite its huge. Lots of fresh Salmon and other seafood goodness. I do wish they would take the tails off the shrimp but thats a minor thing. At least they where cleaned properly :) My boss got the first cup of the chowder that day and it looked amazing. Not just a lot of broth with a little seafood it was packed. The burger he had looked good as well. Perfectly cooked. All around a happy work lunch.

The waterfront setting is perfect, especially on a sunny day. The location must be the main reason the place was crowded on a Sunday night– it certainly wasn’t the food. We love trying different restaurants during Seattle Restaurant Week, which offers three course meals for $ 30 a person. It’s always disappointing when a restaurant begrudgingly participates and doesn’t follow the spirit of this promotion. Isn’t the idea to get patrons to check out your place and fall in love? First of all, we had to ask for the restaurant week menus since they only offered the regular menus when they seated us. Bad sign #1! We ordered our appetizers, entrees and desserts up front. When the apps arrived, I was happy with my small portion of fried artichokes with sriracha mayo. My husband’s appetizer was two little shrimps with their tails and two small crostini. When it came to the entrees, my husband’s salmon was ok, although nothing special served on a bed of plain white rice. I had the bacon wrapped filet, which made me realize I had made a mistake by going with the Seattle Restaurant Week menu instead of just getting a burger. The bacon was soggy and undercooked, and my filet, which I had ordered medium rare, was rare enough for me to worry about ecoli, and so tough I could hardly cut through it with my steak knife. Another bad sign! It was a small piece of meat, but I couldn’t finish it. By the time dessert came along, I was glad they didn’t bring my second glass of wine until that was served. I needed it even though red wine clashes with dessert! I’ve never seen a smaller serving of crème brûlée, which my husband had, and my chocolate mousse kind of tasted like ice cream, which isn’t what I’m used to. Needless to say I had my wine and shared the rest of my mousse with hubby All in all, the meal was definitely not worth even the Seattle Restaurant Week«deal» — in spite of the view at some of the tables. I’d think this might be ok for happy hour or a burger, but not the best choice for a nice dinner.

We were looking for outdoor patio right by the lake on a random hot spring day, and this place was pretty much the only one. I guess it was a little too early of a season for patio seating. Tables were clean but fences were pretty dirty and tons of spiders & spiders webs(that at one point climbed on me, not cool). Well, Happy Hour menu doesn’t apply for outdoor patio seating. I had crab cake which was most bread crumbs :(my husband had fish & chips which was ok. we may go back there again to sit and drink right next to the lake. but definitely just for drinks… no food for me here. We can definitely find yummier restaurant in Kirkland downtown, however none really has seating right by the water. With that, i give this place 3 stars

Beautiful, sunny day in Seattle. What to do? Go somewhere with a view and enjoy tasty food! Enjoyed a blissful lunch at Beachhouse with an incredible view of Lake Washington and food prepared to perfection. At Beachhouse, it was ½ price bottle wine Wednesday and we ordered a refreshing bottle of an Italian Pinot Grigio. We started with a spicy and creamy Prawns appetizer that included toasted baguette slices. Yum! The special was Halibut and Chips, the halibut was fresh and flaky and my garlic fries were crispy and doused in enough garlic to keep any and all vampires away for the day(I personally love garlic, so if you’re not a big fan, I’d go with the regular or yam fries). Service was prompt and friendly. We arrived right when they opened and within 30 minutes, the place was packed. It was great to see people out on the lake, enjoying a sunny day. Highly recommend for any occasion. Can’t wait to try their brunch. PS — the parking lot out front is small, about 10 spots. But there is another parking lot just north on the east side that is much larger. Some individuals are unaware of this additional parking. Plus there is plenty of street parking.

Crispy artichoke hearts — delicious, salmon sandwich — wonderful, french fries — scrumptious. Waterfront view — priceless. We had a great time here, great food, great view, great service. Note: They don’t seem to be super kid friendly, just a few indications we got, if that’s a concern I wouldn’t bring your kids here.

Went here and had the halibut and chips with a beer. Good beers on tap and the halibut was cooked well. Kind of skimpy though for what you get. The service was good. Very busy place. Again good place is it the best I have ever had. No but not horrible either and the view is great! For bigger groups though seating is kind of tough.

YAS! Brunch time, time to whip out the mimosas and get rowdy on a Saturday. First off, location is EVERYTHANG. Kirkland waterfront, you can’t beat it. Beautiful, perfect for a casual, but«hey I’m into you and I think you’re special» kind of date. The bar is beautiful, the view is better, so try to get a window seat if possible. The service was … meh. It was pretty busy on the Saturday we went, but let’s be real, when your breakfast burrito is spicy and the house potatoes are heavily seasoned… you need water. One thing we did notice is that the hostess works her ass off. She not only greets, she also walked the guests to their tables and cleaned/cleared tables. I believe she was also on water duty at times. When we first got into the restaurant, there was nobody at the front. After we sat down, we figured out it was because she was doing a bazillion things on top of greeting. Good for her, give that lady a raise. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito(per the host’s recommendation), The Classic and the Eggs Benedict with Canadian Bacon. First off, the burrito was HUGE. Like I’m taking Chipotle, stuff it till you can’t stuff it no more, HUGE. Smothered in rancheros sauce and sour cream. Holy cow, this is like the most epic breakfast scramble — shoved into a burrito. If you’re hungry, this is the ticket to your happiness. Eggs Benedict was beautiful. My picture doesn’t do it justice… lighting was bad and I’m too lazy to apply a filter. The Classic was good for what is was. A plus side is that it came with lots of sausage… my favorite. Down side — house potatoes were salty and very seasoned. I had to drown them in ketchup. Good, but I wasn’t able to finish them due to my lack of water refill and my full belly. Coffee selection was limited, we ended up going to a nearby café afterwards. They only had Caffe Vita drip coffee, wish they had more options. Bar selection makes up for it. Overall, great experience, food was yummy. I’d come back.

I am so glad we decided to come back to Beachhouse Grill for brunch! What an amazing customer experience! Andrew was an absolute pleasure who took phenomenal care of our table. He was patient, checked in at all the right moments and just a naturally personable server. What truly stood out to me was after taking our orders he asked if any of us have any food allergies they should be aware of? Seriously?! I’ve never been asked that and was dumbfounded by how thoughtful that was! My friend recommended the pesto veggie omelette and boy was it on point! Portion was huge! The omelette was super tasty and definitely something I would get again! Potatoes were yummy and the homemade biscuit was one of the best I’ve had. Blown away by what a different experience this was! Will be back :)

Arrived early and told the waiter I was there for a business lunch. During the entire 1.5 hours, he kept an eye on us, but never interrupted even when serving food and filling drinks. Very much appreciated. I wish I could say the same for the food. The Chowder was an odd color and didn’t have a familiar taste. The Fish and Chips were so greasy, that if I had the opportunity, I would have used my napkin to absorb the extra grease. It’s too bad. Such a beautiful location and great staff, now the kitchen just needs to keep up.

So I went with a large group(11 people) for lunch during the work week. We called and made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. The restaurant is a bit small and cramped but the view is really good on a nice bright day. The parking lot is very small and such a headache to maneuver so be prepared to park and walk. A few of us ended up ordering the winter drinks and we were all disappointed that the drinks weren’t at all hot. Or warm. Or even luke warm. I’m not sure they even heated up our drinks. Even the water for the tea was cold… For lunch, I had the short rib rice bowl which was pretty good and the server said it was one of their most popular dishes. The server also ended up brining out everyone’s lunch except one, so that person has to sit and wait for over 7 minutes waiting to eat with everyone. The server then said he wouldn’t charge us for the dish because of the wait but ended up charging us anyways. Overall have patience and don’t go during a busy time as some things fall through the cracks.

This was my first time here, my best friend took me out for my birthday surprise. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, and the view. I must give Chris(our server) a shout out, for his awesome service and fun self! He was very professional and fun at the same time. Chris knows his selections that will make the guest/s feel happy, even if they were to chose another selection, he was still courteous on everything that was ordered from the menu. The food was what I was hoping, for someone who is very particular on seafood, this was a good place to dine with a view! The only downside, the parking was very limited, I get that street parking is also available, but for few that maybe spending more over $ 180 +, I’d think they’ll expecting have a larger parking lot. Also, a bigger, cleaner bathroom will be nice too! #food #foodporn #awesomeness #goodcompany #delicious #greatservice #thankyou

Facility: I like the vibe of the place and the tables are tiered so pretty much EVERY table has a great water view which is really cool. Menu: I like the options — so far I’ve only had the cod tacos because they were so good that everything I return, I get the same thing. Eventually I’ll try something else and give you an update. Their s’mores dessert is a ton of fun, being able to roast s’mores at the table! I also love that there is no extra charge to have options as a side dish. I can get three different kinds of fries or a salad, my choice. Specials: Wednesday is half priced wine bottle night! Beer: Excellent selection of draft beers. Parking: SUCKS. There are about 10 spots and then street parking or a block away there is a little more parking. Still worth going? Yes, very much so. I look at it like if I were going to a restaurant downtown Kirkland, I’d have NO parking so I’d have to park somewhere in the neighborhood and walk to the place. This at least I’ve never parked more than a block away so I can’t really complain. :) Service: So far I’ve had excellent service. Kid friendly: There are always kids there but it never seems to be an issue. The place is loud enough that you don’t really notice them. I have kids and would definitely consider bringing them there. The view: SERIOUSLYAMAZINGVIEW! Good for groups: YES. Have been there in a big group and they took great care of us.

My husband took me here for our date night this week and I was not that impressed. It was just the two of us and they seated us at this big booth. We sat close together but still it was awkward having so much space to ourselves. There is seating that has a view of the water so if it’s just two people I would request to sit near the window(that way you get a good view). I ordered the Beachhouse burger and it was great! My recommendation would be to order the garlic fries because they are delicious! My husband ordered the chipotle barbecue burger and he was pretty satisfied. For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée and the custard portion of it was tasty, but the top caramel part was hard to break apart and we ended up mashing the custard trying to break up the crystallized caramel layer.

I am sadly readjusting my rating from a 5 star to a 2 star. When it comes to the location and view, this is a great spot and that’s what the stars are for. The restaurant is pretty clean and has a home like feeling to it. Parking is a headache as they only have about 10 spots. The bathroom is tiny and up a narrow flight of steep stairs. I have hosted an event here monthly and written to the business several times with questions I had about group reservations. My first message was sent to the email address on their website and after two months, I have still not heard back. I also wrote them on FB to see if I could get a response… And nothing. This is disappointing, as myself and my group bring them a lot of business. The service is even more disappointing. I’ve had a few great waitresses, but I’ve had more not so great servers. Today we had to ask several times for our coffees to be refilled.(When she finally came to our table to refill us she didn’t come around to each person, she semi aggressively told us to «pass our coffee mugs down» to her if we wanted more coffee. ***Now keep in mind, it was not busy. Our server had no more than 3 tables. All the booths beside us were empty. So there isn’t any real reason for her to not have time to properly serve her tables. I know a lot of us have been servers at one point in our lives and I personally think that the servers here have to be asked to do things that should just be done automatically. But for a company that can’t even respond to their emails… It’s to be expected I guess. The food menu is good, but the food is again… Not amazing. The flavor isn’t quite there like it could be. The Unilocal duchess of this restaurant will no longer be defending her title, it’s up for grabs.

Microsoft Prime 2015 – 2016 Busy Lovely Little Spot Ambience: 5 Food: — Drinks: 4 Value: 4 This lovely little spot is right next to Houghton Beach Park, right on the water(yes, it gets super busy, and parking overruns on nice days). It has big glass window that look out to the water/pier, as well as outdoor seating(summer months only). It has a lovely little bar area(though doesn’t look at the water, it does look at three HD TVs), that has swirling couches, very cool. The drinks are standard locale beer and food are typical NW fare). Though the food is not killer, the deal is(Prime/Passport 2:1). With the added advantage of waterfront view, this is a great spot to go.

I gave a star for the service and a star for the food. Everyone working there was nice and talkative, and the food was great. I got a pulled pork sandwich with regular fries and my friend got a veggie burger with yam fries. Her and I had no complaints about any of the food the fries were great and the pulled pork sandwich had a really good coleslaw to compliment it. We decided to sit outside because there were no clouds in the sky and it was 72 degrees. There were spider webs EVERYWHERE. All over every table, chair and on the rails. While we were trying to enjoy our food we saw spiders coming out to eat their food as well. We tried to brush it off, until we saw an ear wig crawling right on our table. After getting that off we noticed a spider crawled out of its web and onto our table as well. Shortly after that I noticed a bug crawling on my leg. I am not over-exaggerating there were bugs everywhere. This back deck needs a good cleaning and a hose down. I don’t want to feel like I’m camping when I’m just trying to enjoy a lunch in downtown Kirkland.
