I finally stopped by for lunch and had just the regular old cheeseburger and it was definitely better than average. I wasn’t even that hungry, but I ended up scarfing the whole thing down like a wild animal. The prices are ok and you can get a cheeseburger meal for under the $ 10 mark. Service was pretty good and the total time from standing in line to leaving with my burger was close to 15 mins, but it was a nice day and about 12:30. I’d prob give four stars, but the gal taking orders made some condescending remark about customer, who asked of they could change their order, to another employee right in front of everyone as soon as the customer was out of ear shot. I thought that was pretty rude and unprofessional to do right in the open. Good food, not Jimmy John’s fast, average pricing, and evidently not open to order changes… even if there are multiple tickets ahead of you.

This wasn’t even the best school cafeteria burger I’ve had. Now granted I’m from Texas but the chili at this place comes out of a can labeled by Alpo I think. Sorry Alpo.

Do not go there. The line is always long and they only have one person on the register. Soon as you order it seems like they have to go butcher the cow, picks the vegetables and make the cheese before your food is ready! Poor service. Seattle is way better. Total disappointment. Burgermaster is down the street that’s your best bet.

Not my favorite. Burger was dried out from overcooking and seemed a little expensive for what we got. Not too impressed and the staff did not seem thrilled to be working that day. I’d prefer to find a better burger somewhere else or go across the street to Beachhouse Bar and Grill.

Picked up my kid from school and she wanted a milkshake. Been a while since we’ve gone to Kidd Valley so I decided to go there over Burgermaster off of Northup. Ordered a couple of burgers and some fries and rings besides the shakes and got it to go. I can’t even begin to explain how disappointing their burgers were overall. Perhaps living 5 minutes from an In-N-Out in LA had something to do with my burger snobbiness, but I don’t recall having similar issues with the burgers from other local places(BM, Red Mill, etc) that I can think of. Overall, Kidd Valley burgers are just not worth the price they charge. If you’re in the Bel/Kirkland area and you MUST have a local burger go to Burgermaster. Otherwise, go to Wendy’s –as in my opinion both are better options than Kidd Valley…

I came here because it is across the street from where I was swimming. I had no expectations coming in and I was pleasantly surprised. First, it is very reasonably priced. Correct me if I’m wrong, but there was nothing over $ 7. I decided to get a cheeseburger, fries and wings. The meat of the cheeseburger was not dry like other places and I loved that they toasted the bun. The fries weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they were crispy, which I really like. They also weren’t greasy which is a plus. With the wings I wasn’t expecting much. A lot of places I’ve gone to had dry, flavorless meat while the skin was soggy and drenched in sauce. This place, however, was right on par. Their skin was crispy with the right amount of sauce. The meat itself was actually juicy and not overcooked and dry.

I liked Kidd Valley’s burgers as a teenager and I still like them to this day. But I have one MASSIVE criticism of this place and I feel that it needs to be said. For a place that has such thick shakes, the straws are simply inexcusable. They are so thin, they might as well be coffee stirring straws and it’s IMPOSSIBLE to use them on their shakes without collapsing the straw and giving you a massive headache. Otherwise? Great burgers, great fries, but DAMN! Get some thicker straws up in here! Bubble Tea straws would do you wonders.

Ok so I think Kidd Valley is one of the most underrated fast food places around. Definitely higher quality than McD or BK but hey, a burger is a burger is a burger. I do think that their ingredients are a bit fresher, though. Favorite things to order: fried mushrooms, onion rings, milkshake(of any flavor). Can’t go wrong.

Maybe everyone else came here on a bad day, because every time I’ve gone here for lunch, everything has been more than tasty. The Double Cheeseburger is the way to go if your hungry. The meat is juicy and tastes fresh. The Deep fried Mushrooms and Garlic Fries are ALWAYS a good choice. And the milkshakes are a nice dessert, especially the blackberry. Awesome views, friendly service, low prices(compared to the rest of the kirkland inflation) and across the street from the beach.
Apparently, Kidd Valley was a big deal back in the day, but in 2015, it is clearly not. It’s a cheap fast food restaurant with not the best burgers and fries. It feels very much like a dirty McDonald’s and I am sure it was the better choice when only McDonald’s and Kidd Valley existed, but now that there are many other burger joints, this place isn’t the best. I wouldn’t go back.

Garlic Fries PLEASE!!! I wish they had a location closer to T-town, well not really, for my health’s sake but sometimes I really do… Hell, y’all know the struggle!!! Kidd Valley is pretty delicious all the way around not just the irresistable garlic fries! The burgers are pretty tasty, the kiddos love the cheeseburger kids meal, they don’t feel like they are getting skimped on with the size of the meal too!

Love their garlic fries and burgers. This location is very clean too. Good service and a great view of Lake Washington right outside the restaurant.

Went to the beach on a sunny Sunday with the kids and the kids started to get tummy grumbles so what do you do? Follow your nose to the nearest grub joint near the pier! Really wanted to take a chance on this place despite the bad reviews but alas they were true… When we arrived it looked busy due to the long lines and people eating outside but that was unfortunately due to at least 6 people standing waiting for orders and that none of the tables inside were all dirty and not cleaned, forcing us to clean our own table! After waiting to place our order seeing the unhappy staff, waiting customers and a person getting his order remade(don’t know the reason why) we decided to go somewhere else instead… This seems more like a management and lack of staffing issue. Will probably avoid until this is improved.

Picture this: It’s a beautiful sunny day and you’re hanging around on the boulevard. Hunger strikes and you look around. a nice grilled burger, you say? And a thick milkshake to wash it down? An Ideal all American meal to enjoy on a warm and sunny day. Although that might sound like a good idea, make sure to fulfill your desire, but just not at Kidd Valley. I had fond memories of coming here while growing up in Kirkland. the above picture was a typical summer memory for me. However, over the years, their quality of food really went down hill. Either that, or I grew taste buds! The only thing that is still good to me is their fried mushrooms. that’s some good stuff! The batter coating isn’t a typical fried batter. instead, it’s almost like a cornmeal coating. Don’t even think about their shakes. it’s rarely mixed, leaving an overly sweet syrupy mess at the bottom.

Kidd Valley. I don’t see anything super special. Yes, The garlic Fry’s rock but that might be all they have going for them. I came today for lunch with a friend. Pulled in the parking lot and the line was literally out the door. Crap, that’s not good on a lunch hour, but on a sunny day, I guess I should have expected it. It moved fairly quickly. I had the mini bacon cheese burger, onion rings and a chocolate mocha shake. Burger was good but just good, didn’t blow my socks off or anything. Onion rings were GIANT and there was no way I could eat them all alone. Shake, I think they just made it a chocolate because I couldn’t taste the mocha in it at all. For the money, I don’t know if it is worth it. I feel like I could get an equally good burger at Red Robin or something. Cashier was friendly and not too rushed despite the amount of people that were in there.

Kidd Valley has one thing going for them, the view. The food is your basic fast food options. Their chicken sandwhich is good; however, the chicken is not that fresh tasting and has a slightly chewy feel to it. The staff is friendly and the prices are on the high side, likely due to the location. I would suggest you pay an extra couple dollars and enjoy a true sit down dining experience that are located in the area.

I like the food at other Kidd Valley locations, and I’ve been to the Bellevue site many times with no problems, but this Kirkland site left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The wait time for our order was REALLY long and protracted. It took 15 – 20 minutes to get our 4 burgers, one shake and one side. Plus, I had ordered two sides, but the girl at the cash only ordered one(despite my repeating my order twice). The one cashier and two cooks appeared really disorganized and overwhelmed. The cashier kept leaving her post bring seated folks their meals. THere was a long line forming at the cash. waiting to place their orders and pay. This place needs more help here — and better help at that! Our burgers were just okay. THe onion rings were hard and nearly burnt in areas. Never got my sweet potatoe fries I ordered. Perhaps that’s for the best.
