If there’s a unique item to bring home for friends and family(while also saving some for yourself), you need to get nuts from these guys. The waft of freshly roasted nuts when you come in, along with free samples, really seals the deal. These hands down beat the banal macadamia nuts you can get at the airport or even on the Mainland. Delicious!

By far this place is one of the greatest finds on Kauai! My friend and I recently spent 5 nights each on Maui and Kauai and were greatly appreciative to find this place to be most delicious. For juices I tried the Akala(all fruits like strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, pineapple, raspberry) and Glow(great green for the juicer out there) The Akala was the best fruity pressed juice I have ever imbibed! I was a Kombucha tea virgin but Kauai Juice converted me and everyone else will have to live up to them. I tried the strawberry-guava, vanilla-tangerine, ginger-berry, lemon-ginger, and the blood orange. All were delicious, effervescent, and quite truly delish! These juices or teas are great for a picnic at the beach, hanging at the pool or just driving around. if I had a fridge on the island I would stock it full from here. They have two locations one in Kapaa and one in Kilauea. The location in Kapaa has rotating Kombucha tea flavors on tap just check the board for the daily/weekly flavors! Anything on tap they will generally give you a taste(shot) of! They are open Monday through Saturday 8 – 5 and if you follow them on instagram or twitter they will let you know if they will be open for a few hours on any given Sunday(generally only the Kapaa one opens on Sunday for a few hours randomly). We returned 6 bottles for deposit(they use recyclable glass bottles) on our way to the airport and received $.50 for each. Which we promptly turned around and bought more for the road. As well my only souvenir form the islands, as I am not much of a souvenir collector, was local hand made glass straws they sell in store for $ 10 each… so pretty! #localicious

So happy I can grab a juice to go with my fish wrap! Always great service and happy smiles from the incredibly helpful people that work there, you can really tell it’s a community organization. No bottle redemptions at this location, but plenty of awesome merchandise! Love this place!

Such a perfect spot for such perfect juice! Right across from one of the best surf shops and just around the corner from the best fish wraps. Always amazing service from the knowledgable Juice Co girls who are more than helpful in deciding between the crazy healthy selections available. Ranging from fruity and sweet to downright delicious greens, you CANNOTGOWRONG! Every Juice is a different blend to target your health or just your taste bud’s needs. A must stop on the way to or from your north shore surf spot. Amazing job guys, seriously.

Visited the Kauai Nut Roaster in historic Kilauea on our last day on the island — darn — I would have visited more often had I only known! Very friendly hostess at the store who encouraged taste testing. She offered lots of info on the different flavors and the process. I did not taste One Single Nut I did not like. The sweets were a delicious desert but my absolute favorite was the spicy hot Pele’s Fire Macadamias. When you learn about the rather complicated hands on process for growing and harvesting these delicious nuts, the price is a bit easier to accept. What a wonderful treat to bring home — delightfully packed with cute labels. An Aloha gift just a bit different than the expected chocolate covered…

Every and any combination of nuts you could imagine with their own unique twists and flavors. Great for gifts to bring home to your family and friends vs. those typical Hawaiian Host chocolates. I remember my favorite being the turtle mix. Service is super friendly and inviting. You can also request for samples if they are not already in the jars for you to try.

I have been macadamia nut tasting on the islands before, but I have never had it this good. Kauai Nut Roasters has a new outlet at the Stone Building in Kilauea, which has been open since December 2013. Inside the historic stone building(directly across the street from the historic Kong Lung Shopping area) an array of some of the more interesting ideas to flavor macadamia nuts, walnuts and almonds fill the shelves and encourage you to enter, and to taste. Macadamia nut tasting is a fun, calorie-free, easy way to enjoy the island hospitality. Wait! Its not calorie free!?! Drat! Well, anyway hopefully, you packed a pair of macadamia nut pants in your suitcase(also known as sweats) so you can truly enjoy all they have on offer. Although all flavors were fantastic, favorites were the sweet, candied macadamia nuts: kona coffee, maple bacon, hot cacoa, funky monkey, honey sweet candied coconut with macadamia, and butterscotch. They also have lots of spicy and savory macadamia nuts, nut blends, pecans and walnuts, trail and surfer mixes. It’s pretty easy to get carried away here. Their best blends tend towards the sweet side of things, and could be considered pricey, but usually it takes just a small handful to make for a happy dessert. Here’s the deal. You can sample every single thing they sell. Everything. There must be about 30 varieties to taste. Part of the store is dedicated to sampling and that is the best part of a Kauai Nut Roaster visit. The girl working the counter was very friendly and encouraged tasting, trying and finding our favorite flavors. The nuts are $ 6 for a small bag and $ 11 for a larger one, and after sampling, you probably will have to take home a few, because they are addictive. They even have a Unilocal check in deal(look for their Hanalei store to unlock it) which translates into half price. Fantastic!
