Food was good. Always a good start. I had the Low Carb Breakfast. The pesto sauce was good and smelled amazing. Music was good and the tables are really neat to look at. Need one of these places in San Diego

Wish we had something like this is Los Angeles. I’d come here everyday. Instead of building/renovating all these McDonalds/Jack In The Box/Starbucks/In & Outs and all these other fast food joints we should have more restaurants + drive thru options like this! Hawaii really cares for their people. Green Lemonade was so good! So healthy! My wrap was tasty and Hubby’s Tuna sandwich was finger licking good. A huge plus is that they have a «Doggie Bag» you can it purchase for your fur baby. Customer service was excellent! Please open one in Los Angeles!

You want to love it but… the food did not rock my socks off. I ordered a rice bowl, which I thought would be like a stir fry bowl, but it was basically a light orange chili and rice. They should really call it chili and rice. I also ordered the beet side salad which was not spectacular and that made me sad because I live for beet salads. My friend had the California club which she said was delicious so perhaps I just ordered the wrong things? It’s been known to happen. The staff was very friendly and there’s a drive thru option so if I come back to Kihei and am looking for a healthy option I’d give it another try.

When in Maui… So good, we went back twice… during our three day visit. While in Kihei, hubby and I were looking for a breakfast option that was quick, sounded yummy, not too filling, and not from a fast food joint(which by the way, there are hardly any fast food places in Kihei — yipppeeee!!). Good ol’ Unilocal to the rescue! We found D’Lite and boy were we surprised the options and the amazingly affordable choices! I placed my order over the phone and relied on my smart phone to get me there — which was super easy to find. Upon arriving, I was so amazed they had a drive-thru. YES, A DRIVE-THRU!!! How convenient is that?! Anyway, picking up our food was so quick and easy… plus, James(who runs this location) was super cool! Over the two days of trying D’Lite for brekky, we tried their Breakfast Sandwich, their California Club, and their Orange Glorious smoothie. All were worth it and I never spent over $ 14 either time. Cha-ching! So, if you are a brekky lover like me, this is a spot worth checking out. Yes, yes, I know Kihei is FILLED with breakfast hotspots — but you have to wait for a table, then wait for the food, and all that jazz. So on days when you aren’t willing to wait or need something quick, check out James and the gang at D’Lite! I’ve already mentioned to them that they need to bring this concept to Oahu. I hear they are trying!

What can I say about this place? Well, the food is amazing and the owner is super cool. We typically only got the Breakfast Buzz smoothly. Espresso shots, peanut butter, coconut milk, banana and ice. Today I tried the Low Carb Breakfast. OMG! Amazing. Pesto, eggs, greens, balsamic, a hash brown. So good. If you want a healthy quick bite, this is the place!

Got the breakfast sandwich. It was ok. The bread was a little hard, the egg yolk was just cooked enough to be solid. The orange slush was good.

My sweets and I have been here a couple times. We used the drive thru both times and the service is always great. I got the House style frittata and I did not like it at all. I almost did not want to eat it. The Chipotle aioli saved it. The hash brown was flavorless, egg was overcooked and I did not like the flavor of the chicken sausage. I also did not understand the whole sourdough toast w/the hash brown combo. It was carb overload. My sweets loved his pipeline burrito. For the second trip I tried the croissant sandwich. It was satisfying. The tomato and pesto is what made it. They kept the sammich from being too dry. I would get it again. This place is somewhat overpriced for breakfast and their prices will be going up this month. Perhaps next time I’ll try their lunch. It’s a great option for a quick bite. Just avoid the frittata LOL.

Not the most car friendly drive-thru(it is a bit tight). D’Lite is nice for a quick egg sandwich and cup of coffee. Even though they were out of it on recent visit(Turkey Bacon) it is nice that this option occasionally is offered. I got the chicken sausage as instead. Food and coffee won’t blow you out of the water, but this is a quick a lighter option than most places along South Kihei rd. Very cool that they offer doggie bag … That is literally a bag to put leftovers in for your pooch.

I needed a quick lunch on my way to the beach. I’ve heard great things about D’Lite so I had to get in and give it a try. I was in around 1 on a Sunday and the parking was good. There was no line inside either. The menu has lots of really good choices and they serve breakfast all day which is really nice. The struggle is deciding whether to get breakfast or lunch because they both sounded good. I asked for advice from the employee working and he told me his two favorites. They both sounded a little heavy for a pre-beach sesh so I opted for a basic egg sandwich. He suggested adding in the smoked applewood sausage because it adds to the flavor. I figured a little extra protein could be really good so, sure, let’s go for it. I paid and waited just a few minutes while they prepared my lunch to go. The ambiance of this place is really nice for fast food. The décor, the lighting, the seating – all really classy. An employee brought out my sandwich, wrapped and with a few napkins and I was on my way. I drove to the beach and dug into my lunch. I have to add that I love that they cut the sandwich in half to make it easier to eat. The sandwich was pretty tasty. The bread was really flaky and flavorful. The egg was cooked perfect. The sausage was okay – I thought it was going to be more sausage-like and less ham-like. It was just okay. But the overall sandwich was good. It was so filling that I couldn’t even finish it all – and I was starving when I got there. The food it priced really decently for healthier, lighter food. I recommend for anyone looking for a tasty, affordable fast lunch.

Loved it! We need one in Lahaina! Healthy fast food with a drive thru pick up option! They also have a lot of comfortable seating inside with A/C. Breakfast and lunch options on the menu. Everything from breakfast sandwiches, omelets, oatmeal with fresh fruit, smoothies, coffee, teas, and kombucha to burgers, salads, sandwiches, kids menu and baked goods. The service was prompt and full of aloha! We will be back for sure.

I was a bit hesitant to try this place out, as often healthy and tasty don’t go hand in hand for me(I’m a carnivor!). But this place broke the mold and opened up my mind to the possibilities of healthy and delicious food. Oh, and the prices were good too! We came here for breakfast and were not disappointed. The food was fresh, tasty and healthy and didn’t break the budget. What more can you want?

«YAY! Now we can have drive thru and We don’t ever need to feel guilty about it!» Seriously this is what my 7 year old said pulling up for breakfast after dawn patrol. Besides the fact that their menu boasts traditional breakfast and lunch favorites, there are so many flavorful and unique options that make you want to try one of each every time. Our family favorites are the croissant breakfast sandwich, almond butter sandwich for the keiki and the SODELICIOUS and PERFECT during a restless hurricane season — Iced Toddy! Dine in is perfect for a quick bite as well — but we are always on the go! :)

Awesome affordable breakfast/lunch stop in Kihei! After spending $ 20 – 40 per person on every meal in Maui, we decided to get something cheaper and smaller for brunch before heading to the airport from Wailea. Here are a few reasons why I recommend this place: –A healthy place that has a drive thru?! I wish we had this option back home. –Breakfast sandwiches are cheap(but small too) –Clean and cold inside(AC is on woohoo) –Both the tuna sandwich and croissant sandwich were delicious. I could’ve eaten more than just the croissant sandwich, but it was enough to satisfy my hunger. –Healthy smoothie for $ 5.50 instead of ridiculous $ 8 smoothies from the resorts

So. The honey and I, we’re from Northern California — ie, we have places like this every corner, especially in Berkeley. I like what this place intends to do. But it doesn’t quite execute. It’s by no means fast food — our simple sandwich and fritata took over twenty minutes, but it does have some serious promise. This meal was the best quality/price that we had during our stay and the service was friendly(though slightly forgetful since she was running the drive thru as well). We’re just used to places like this so the little things(the weird smell — possibly the Maui patchouli — that heavily permeated this place), the wait time, and the fact a couple people were very obviously missing from the staff. That hit it hard. I’m giving it a 4 as I won’t get a chance to re-review and I feel like our experience was more like a 3.5. We wouldn’t push to try again, but it’s a nice concept I hope they work out.
