I’m giving this place 2 stars only because their beer selection is excellent, however, the customer service is lacking. When I asked if I could sample a particular beer(as most places allow you to if its on tap), the bartender, who did not greet us or made us feel welcomed, seemed hesitant in letting me try it. I sensed the question made her uncomfortable and I’m sure it’s not her fault but that’s not the«key west» way of treating customers.

My partner and I have been to Key West a few times, and Cork & Stogie always seems to be a place we return to. There are cigars, of course, and there is a porch right on Duval Street that is prime people watching. This place has a pretty standard selection of beer, heavy on local Florida beers. They also have a full bar and the drinks are already served to-go cups. A portion of the restaurant is dedicated just to cigars, and they have a guy there who can guide you depending on what kind of smoke you want. We’ve always met fun people here, and it’s a smaller space so you have to be social. Lots of locals here.

Cool vibe, great beers and wines on the quieter end of Duval. Found a yummy sour here and hubby had a great cigar. Loved sitting on the porch and people watching. Worth the walk!

I was avoiding this place because the name suggests a smoke filled bar. Turned out to be not a single cigar in use, and the beer is truly great here. If they have any sort of special tap going, order it. They have got the«real» microbrews, and lots of them. 60 total…

Stopped in while the family went on a boat trip. Friendly staff and a nice quiet corner of Duval to unwind and watch the people go by, Every trip I make to Key West from now on will include a stop here. On the day I was there everything was perfect for me. Location, drink and smoke. Not pretentious like the cigar snobs in the busy part of Duval but a nice selection of cigars with a help yourself mentality. Took a glass of the recommended happy hour cabernet. Sat on the Front porch and listened to the nice mix of jazzy, bluesy, rock and felt the cares of the world float away. I enjoyed the whole trip but this was the best two hours I spent there. Haven’t been so relaxed in a while. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to take a break from the pace of the hectic touristy sections. This is what Key West was meant to be. Felt like I was sitting on a friends front porch.

Cork & Stogie is a great bar tucked down the less busy section of Duval Street in Key West, Florida. We stopped in for a beer and we’re quickly impressed not just by the selection of quality craft brews but also by the helpful bartender making suggestions as to good selections. Since we cannot get anything from Bell’s Brewing in Massachusetts, it was the Two Hearted Ale and Oberon from Bell’s that did the trick at Cork & Stogie. The inside of the bar is dimly lit and has a casual vibe to it. We opted to sit out on the front porch which is an ideal spot to enjoy a good beer, watch the passerby’s and enjoy the warmth Key West weather and salt water air. Cork & Stogie is a quiet and casual spot perfect to unwind and not be blasted with loud music or people looking to dance. For beer lovers, it’s probably one of the finest beer bars on Duval Street hands down and comes complete with a $ 5 happy hour special, too!

Coolest place for a drink in Key West. I swear it. I’ve been to the Keys a few times and never really found a bar I enjoyed in Key West. Don’t get me wrong– I’ve had my fun nights there, but never connected completely with a bar and felt like I wasn’t amongst loads of partying 21 year olds and 55 year olds(trust me, only people that have been to Key West will get that). But I have finally found it! This place was clearly conceived as a wine and cigar shop. You go inside and on the left is a massive array of cigars and bottles of wine. Very chilled place that allows dogs(YAYYYYY) inside and looks like a living room. So cozy! There is a small bar to the right(more seating is available outside on the porch) with a few barstools. Fortunately, this bar has decided to go beyond its ‘Cork and Stogie’ and dabble in the craft beer scene. They have a few beers on draft and a large array in a visible fridge. They were currently putting together a proper beer menu, but had no issue letting us check the fridge or ask questions(the bartenders were always very knowledgable about the beers!) I have also never seen a staff more passionate about what they do than this crew. The kitchen staff was out and chatting craft beer with us. Pretty impressive! I can not recommend this place enough to people looking to enjoy a craft beer. Florida has some great brews even though they are kind of overlooked on the craft beer scene. Cork and Stogie has some local brews from the Keys(Florida Keys Brewing Company and Islamorada Beer Company both located on Islamorada) as well as some from Cigar City up in Tampa, and quite a few more. They also carry some beachy beers from Maui Brewing Company in Hawaii. They know what the customers will like and they have them. No one wants a Russian Imperial Stout in Key West. A long day spent in Key West and this place was undoubtably my highlight of the day.

After a road trip through the Keys my girlfriend and I were feeling a little bit parched and in need of a drink. As we were walking to Duval Street we saw this little bar with some craft beer logos on the windows and instantly we were drawn in to this bar. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about all the beers, helping us find a beer to suit are preferred tastes and styles(I for some reason struggle to say no to a refreshing IPA or Double IPA). We finished our drinks and set off for a little walk. very satisfied with our reasonably priced beers. After an afternoon spent wondering around Key West, we had to get back on the road as the next day I was flying back to Germany. Before leaving we decided to pop in again so that I could have another drink before my girlfriend had to drive us towards Miami. The place was a little busier this time but the staff and customers were just as helpful as the last time. With everyone trying to help us select the perfect beer. Overall this has to be one of my favourite bars in the world and next time I’m in the area I will definitely be having a few more beers there and hopefully a cigar!

Loved this place. The owners are super personable and were pouring samples of wine while we were there. You can smoke cigars on the outside porch. You can carry on a conversation and meet people here in this laid back place. Of course they have good wines and beers available at the bar. A real winner.

My husband and I stumbled across this quaint little shop while perusing Duval. We were both trying to get another beer and cigars so we went in. Needing a break, we sat on the comfy front porch and just people watched for a bit. It felt homie and so relaxing. Would recommend atleast pop in.

The adorable porch on Duval Street and a sign promoting 60 beers was enough for Cork and Stogie to stand out from the crowd of bars and draw my group in for a visit. While there were only about 10 – 12 beers on draft, it was their bottle and can list that was a knock out. Once I ordered my Cigar City Jai Alai, the menu made for some great porch reading. The bartender boosted himself on his Bloody Mary’s. While I’m not a fan of them, I’m impressed that he comes in every morning that they serve them at 7am for beverage prep. He was really kind to let my group try one of the drunken shrimp which is one of the options for his Bloody Mary’s. If you are buying wine, don’t forget to check in on Unilocal. As of September 2015, they’ll give you a house wine with another wine purchase. Definitely a good spot to stop at if you are a beer, wine or cigar fan.

We got here just as the place opened up. The bartender was the nicest guy. The place appears like a little hole in the wall, and it’s not very big on the inside either. There’s a coziness however, and the warmth and friendliness of the guy behind the counter makes you feel like you’re in someone’s living room and they have cigars and drinks. Our Bartender recommended cigars, drinks, and gave us his picks for local food and bars. You HAVETO stop here.

Fabulous drink selection and excellent service. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale on tap! Comfortable outdoor seating for people watching on Duval. An excellent choice for a rest stop on your way to or from the water.

Love this little wine, beer and cigar place. Located at the end of Duvall away from downtown in a tiny house with a great porch to sit on and sip your wine. We also had a cheese plate that had a nice selection of cheese. Tiffany was adorable and very helpful. When you want to escape the craziness of downtown come here.

Stumbling upon this place was one of the bright spots of a bright and sunny day in Key West. My visit to the Cork & Stogie was brief but memorable. The woman working the store was one of the friendliest individuals I’ve met. So nice and welcoming. Honestly, I would have bought anything she was selling, that’s how nice I thought she was. Fortunately, what she sold me were 2 for 1 Jell-o shots. These weren’t just any Jell-o shots, they were Key Lime Jell-o shots made with chardonnay. I only spent $ 1, but I could have spent $ 20, that’s how good they were. I will make a point to stop here every time I’m in Key West.
