Jack in the Box

My family stopped here on a road trip home to San Angelo. We love jack in the box and have been to several locations all over Texas and Hawaii. This is the only bad experience we’ve ever had. We went inside to place our to go order so we could also use the restroom. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes before someone walked over to take our order. The Order was placed at 12:39 and we didn’t receive our food until 12:59. There were several employees behind the counter walking around eating, drinking and joking with each other very loudly while myself and several customers were waiting for their food. When our order came out my husbands spicy chicken sandwich didn’t have cheese and was dressed with a piece of wilted lettuce and one tomato half the size of the sandwich. My bacon cheeseburger didn’t have any veggies on it at all and the bacon was so thin you couldn’t taste it. The soft drinks were flat and after trying several I just decided against a drink all together. The only reason this review is getting two stars is because the curly fries were fresh and delicious. I believe management needs to look into these issues… I would like to add that for a Sunday afternoon this location only had 5 tables of customers so it wasn’t during a rush.

Skip this place. Always out of stuff. Never get order right. Slow service. Tacos TOO SPICY. Can’t take special orders, throws them off

Service through the drive thru line was fast and courteous. Only problem was they weren’t paying attention to what I ordered. Got my burger wrong and the meat was way over cooked (dry). Asked for unsweet tea twice and got sweet tea instead. Not sure why it is so hard to enter the order correctly and serve what the customer asked for, but it must be a monumental task that is hard to overcome.

Close to the heart of downtown Kerrville. I did the drive thru, and the wait was kind of lengthy, but there was a big rush. You can only fit so many 4×4 crew cabs in the drive thru area.. .
The order taker was efficient. Did his spiel and was very consistent. The food met Jack in the Box standards, to me it was delicious especially with the limited selection in the small town I am staying at.
–1 for almost getting stung by a bee. I guess the trash area needs to have the orkin man or some pest control.

I have to say I’m surprised that Jack in the Box chain has picked up it’s act. And this location has too. Before they were really slow and the drive thru was a total nightmare. But that’s all changed… for the better.
I love the food here. This is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. Unlike Sonic, they aren’t a super greasy guilty pleasure. The tacos are actually really not bad health wise and of course, they are delicious. Curly fries are the best in world (At least I think so). I could eat here all day.
They just remodeled and it looks really good. The bathrooms are pretty clean although the tables are sometimes are dirty. They also installed one of those self serve order machines which are fun and easy to use.
On some days the employees are slow and it’s not rare for them to be out of some menu items. I think they do their best, which I appreciate. I haven’t tried the drive thru since they remodeled. Hopefully it’s better than before.

This is one of the best Jack in the Box’s I have been to. If you are passing through and need a bite to eat, I recommend this place.
