To be fair, I did not have time to explore the entire store, but wow, what an assortment of fabrics and notions in this little space! Went there only for my Row by Row pattern kit, but will be back. I wish I lived closer.

Beautiful selection of fabrics. There was even a very cool, brightly colored Seattle themed one. My only complaint is the selection of patterns is pretty thin. I will definitely be back in the future.

I love Alice and I love this shop. The help is great… the quality of fabric is excellent. There is a great selection of notions and threads that is constantly getting better. The only things I wish for is MORE SPACE… I hope you can expand some day, Alice… and I wish there were more reproduction fabrics… but you can do every thing and having a focus on modern lines is wonderful, too! Keep up the great work, Alice!

This is a real gem! Alice, the owner, is a treasure and will help you with ideas and all sorts of things.
Fantastic classes offered at reasonable prices.
Good selection of materials (& if you don’t find what you want, it can be ordered).
Wonderful place to browse.
Parking can be a nuisance, but there is a parking lot at the end of the block.

Stopped in today because I was looking for Moda fabrics and it was the closest specialty fabric shop to both work and home.
They have a large selection of quilting fabrics, including modern prints. The women working in the shop were very patient with me trying to make a decision and offered help if I wanted but were not overbearing at all. When I asked about a certain type of fabric, although they didn’t have it the woman helping me was able to offer alternatives that might work with my project. Being new to sewing, I need all the help I can get and the women were very friendly and helpful.
The fabrics are a bit high in price (about $ 11.49/yd) compared to other shops I’ve seen, but they do have a larger selection of modern quilting prints. They offer a punch card with 20% if you spend over about $ 200.
They offer quilting classes throughout the month and have a workshop in the back of the store.
