I tried the banh mi and bun bo hue here. They were both acceptable but not to my expectation. The banh mi lacked meat and the bun bo hue was too fishy for my liking. The taste of the bun bo hue lingered in my mouth for a while too. I think you can get both across the street at Greatwall mall for better taste.

I came in today to try this deli that ive been seen for a while. Well let me tell you the Cream horns are the best! I bought one just to try them OMG the best they are not to sweet or the bland just perfect for my taste I also order a grill chicken sandwich and I was good I’ve had Vietnamese sandwich and you can taste a difference the bread seem like it was freshly made so warm and soft. I’ll be coming in more often now I’ll try the coffee next(:

I usually come here for the pâté chaud, they are tasty and made with a good amount of filling. There beef jerky is on the expensive side, but what jerky isn’t? I love Vietnamese jerky, if you haven’t had it, you must try. I only get a couple of slabs which ends up being a few ridiculous dollars, but I don’t come here often. Their Vietnamese agar jelly dessert is made fresh on weekends. I came in today and got 6 pâté chaud and an avocado smoothie with tapioca. My total came to $ 21. Yikes. The bubble tea was absolutely disgusting. I had only taken a sip or two by the time I got to my destination to throw it in a cup and fix it. Overall, the prices are up there, but I come here once a month or two so I’m okay with spending a little more on some tasty treats I can only get in the area.

Totally unexpected when I was looking for a place before dropping of my father at the airport but holy cow it was good. Very local, tons to choose from in pastries or you could go with some asian influenced jerky or small dishes. My dad and I loved the place, great coffee. And It was locally owned too, just the mom and her daughter working there today. I would highly recommend as an alternative to airport food. plus its only like 5 – 10 minutes away from the gates going on local roads, so no traffic ever.

Lovin this place Home made beef jerky, dehydrated fruit and other classics you don’t see when you first walk in But more of a hidden gym right across the street from the RanchMarket Vietnamese sandwhiches are a must try along with all the deserts. Owner is on hand and still opens the store early for me almost all the time.

I really want to like this place because it’s convenient. I only like the sandwich and the egg rolls. The rest to the food… Didn’t really like it. There’s a couple times I threw out food right after a few bites and I agree with the other reviews about being too pricey. I don’t mind paying money, especially if it’s really good. The most disappointing was their smoothies. Simply gross. I like their service and the girls are sweet. But pls taste you food and improve them!

Decent little Vietnamese café carrying pastries and bahn mi. I would have liked more bahn mi selection and I’m not sure if they bake their bread on site(which always makes for the best bahn mi). Anyhow, we walked out with a pork bahn mi for my son for dinner. They fry their tofu so we didn’t order the tofu bahn mi and we had just eaten lunch so figured we would find something for us later. We also tried their almond croissant. The bahn mi was legit. Nice crispy crunchy light bread with well balanced amounts of meat and pickled veggies. We forgot to order without jalapenos so pulled those off before my son ate it. He didn’t complain so I guess none of the spiciness rubbed off. I tried a bite of the sandwich and it was very good. The croissant was nothing to write home about but it was pleasant and it was cheaper than any of the ones we’ve bought at French bakeries around here. It was also just about as good to be honest. I haven’t found an almond croissant yet that really has bowled me over up here.

Unfortunately I will no longer come to les bakery… Not that they don’t have good food, they do… It’s just waaaaaayyyyy over priced compared to all the other Vietnamese shops around the area and while they’re sandwich is good, paying 12.00 for 1 sandwich, 1 pork pastry and 1 taro bubble tea is just not worth it. On top of that, they’re bubble tea is probably the worst I’ve had in this area… Just go to Great Wall and chose from any of their 4 bubble tea stores lol…

Thank you for being open at 7am! I enjoy having another coffee selection near work! My caffine drink of choice is the iced mocha with tapioca pearls, pearls that are freshly made =D Need lunch, no problem. They have a nice selection of hot dishes and cold dishes and packaged items to choose from.

Vietnamese iced coffee doesn’t taste perfect here but it does its job of keeping one awake and alert! The last two times I came in, my drinks were way too bitter. Today, it’s more sweet but it still doesn’t have that perfect blend of sweetness + coffee for me as this popular beverage should. 2⁄5 However, I tried their pork pâté chaud for the first time today and it was super delicious! Warm, buttery, flakey exterior with the right amount of savory meat filling. I should find out what time they bake these in the morning so I can swing by and buy them fresh out of the oven. Drools! 5⁄5

I was hoping for a fabulous dessert place I could jump in my car and grab my sweet nothings! But to no avail, it was not what I thought it was going to live up to. :( When I first walked in it was a lovely sight, almost every dessert you could think of staring up at you from the number of glass cases. I quickly went to one, searching for my tasty treat. The price ranges from .75 to 7.00ish. They had cookies, brownies, bars, mini cheesecakes and pies, eclairs, and so on. Also savory foods as well, ie Banh Mi, soups etc. you can order in and eat there in their café or take it to go. So I chose my selection of pastries. I got one chocolate brownie(tasted like they mixed up a box of store brand brownie mix, not even the good kind… and that’s that), a monster brownie(same as other just with Carmel and nuts on top… not good tasted stale), a cream puff(bla, dry pastry with old lukewarm cream), and lastly a cream cheese Danish(the pastry was again dry and no taste, and the cream cheese was disgusting… really it was made very badly with a fake citric acid zing to it). So it was a bite of each, and then in the trash. :(hoping for one to be good at least. Nada. I think all of was just really old tasting. Dry and old. And well, made badly. I could do a waaay better job. I also felt no love from the cashier/baker, just here’s your stuff and take my money feel. Just that’s what it was, just no love in the ingredients, and no love in anything really. :( Only reason I’m giving it two and not one star, is because I didn’t try any of their savory food items. So I have no idea how those are. Review only for desserts and customer service.

Stopped by one afternoon and got a thai tea and che chuoi(banana dessert). Both were good; I want to come back to try their banh mi and curry. Pricing is good. The interior is clean and spacious. The pastries look beautiful, wonder if they taste good :)

This place is great. I had their combo Bahn Mi and my mouth still waters thinking about it. I had mine with Pâté on it and it was the best sandwich I have ever had. However, I tried one of their stews and not so great an experience. The portion was TINY and WAY overpriced. I will stick to the sandwiches.

Lots of selection! Tons of pastries and candy and cake. I had chicken curry and and rice for lunch and grabbed a cream horn for a sweet treat(I have a wicked bad sweet tooth.) The dessert was fabulous but the chicken was terrible. Stringy, lumpy, and poor quality. The veggies were good though! Sweet and regular potatoes. The curry is not spicy at all – almost sweet, fortunately there is sriracha on every table.

Really nice place and the best tofu sandwich in town(as far as I know)… Too bad their location is not the best location to visit frequently. Food is great, customer service can be improved.

Stopped in today since Staples called me to come and pick up an order that wasn’t ready UGH(save that for another review) and I hadn’t eaten lunch yet. I dig little spots and Asian food so I thought why not. Walking in the place is clean and inviting. The lady behind the counter? Not so inviting. The second I stepped in she asked me if I was ready to order. Um no ma’am I haven’t had a chance to get all the way through the door yet. Give me a chance to look at the menu, thanks. As I made my way around to look at the offerings, she followed me like a bad car salesman and recommended every single thing she saw me look at. This was annoying, but not the end of the world. What was more annoying is she asked me at least three times if I would sample their Apple Pie. Um no. I don’t like apples and I don’t want pie. Yet she insisted on it. After saying no for the final time I told her I’m allergic to apples to get her off my back. Dang! She was not kidding about trying that dang pie. Must be magical. Anyway, between being harassed about pie and just wanting a moment of silence so I could think about what I wanted … I went for the chicken curry and rice. It was $ 7 for a small bowl and small rice, but even so it was delicious. I am a fan of their curry. If I’m around I’ll definitely check this place out again. And hopefully Miss Apple Pie won’t be behind the counter so I can browse in peace.

Awesome grilled pork sandwiches, delicious beef stew, and chicken curry. This Vietnamese deli is a gem, and serves up a satisfying quick eat. The staffs are friendly and courteous as well. Recently they introduced two new noodle selection; bun bo hue(beef) and bun rieu(crab). — Both are excellent additions in my opinion. If you’re in the area and need a quick bite. You can’t go wrong with Le’s Deli.

I have been back to Le’s at least 15 times since my first review, despite complaining about the prices! The cleanliness, friendly service, and most of all, excellent sandwiches, have me hooked! It doesn’t hurt that they are close to home and open until 8pm(except for Sundays, when they close at 7pm), so I can run out for a sandwich anytime I don’t feel like cooking. This update is for their fresh rolls, which I tried for the first time yesterday. I got the tofu ones. They were truly outstanding. They are just as good as my previous favorite fresh rolls at another establishment. They had this«cigar» of crunchy stuff in the center(I don’t know what it is, only that it is good and puts a fresh roll«over the top»). I don’t think that all places put this crunchy stick in their fresh rolls. In fact, I think I have only ever had it before at Green Leaf. Also, the dipping sauce was soooo good. In any case, now I just have one more reason to run down to Le’s for my Vietnamese fast food cravings!

3.75 Stars Initially, the prices for the banh mi and pastries turned me off to this place so I started to focus more on their other offerings: Dessert che: their Vietnamese dessert soups are $ 1.95 and appropriately priced. I enjoyed the banana version. Chicken Curry with Baguette: I could safely say this is the most traditional version of Vietnamese chicken curry, yams are used in lieu of potatoes. A small bowl with a French bread costs about $ 6.95. If eating there, be sure to have it warmed up for best results. Broken rice combo: Broken rice, egg cake, grilled charbroiled pork(I also add a fried egg, $ 1 more) @ $ 6.95. Compared to the surrounding areas, above average and recommended. Pâté chaud: available in chicken or pork, flaky and tasty! At first the proportion of meat appears to be low but plenty of flavor in the meat make you quickly forget. Other notable items are the crème horns, beef jerky. and fried bananas. Don’t forget to show your Unilocal check in for a free egg roll.
