One star for friendly staff, however, they use yellow based acrylic! It gives your nails a yellow tint that looks disgusting! While I was getting my nails done a girl actually came in complaining that her nails were yellow, that should of been my first clue. I got a fill done at another salon and asked why my nails too had turned out with a yellow tint, the technician filled me in and said that the acrylic the previous salon had used is a cheaper option to the purple/​pink hued acrylic that is popular with most salons. I was highly disappointed, and my nails look like they belong on the hands of a 75 year old smoker. Ick.

I was in town for work and wanted to get a manicure. While I can give C & K 2 stars for being convenient (and for the gel mani looking good), I’m a bit disappointed overall.
1 star: clean salon
1 star: walk-​in appt friendly
Missing stars:
1 star: nail tech was rushed and rough with my hands
1 star: no cuticle oil or lotion at the end
1 star: staff could have been more friendly

After having a horrible experience at another salon, I had been hesitant to go again. At the urging of a friend I decided to try C & K Nails. Fantastic! Loved this place, the people were friendly, sweet, and attentive. The atmosphere was fun and everything appeared clean and tidy. Loved the massage chairs while, while soaking my feet. Unlike the «other» salon that seemed to just rush me out, C & K allowed me time to enjoy their services. I felt welcome and appreciated. I will definitely be coming back soon and bringing family with me to enjoy too.
