The food is pretty expensive here, but it’s also the only place to eat within a 50 mile radius, so go figure. The owner is a really nice guy, and at least their ice cream was somewhat reasonable, and well deserving after a hot day of hiking. For all those paying with credit, there’s a $ 10 minimum(not hard, since sandwiches run around $ 9 and up).

Basic menu-sandwiches, salads, ice cream. Restored 1924 restaurant inside the Historic Kelso Train depot. Usually a one man operation so be patient. It is the only restaurant in about 30 miles. We were glad we ate there!
