If I could give 0 star, I would. Worst room ever! There are no available rooms for miles, so can’t change. Only room available when I booked was smoking and it reeks of smoke as if used for 30 years and closed up! Thank goodness the window opens. Had to sleep with window open and ac ruining to even tolerate the suffocating smell. I’ve killed at least 5 flies that are flying around and several hang out in the sink. No wonder, the sink won’t drain! The desk chair has several very large stains(one is about 8 inches long) on the fabric(seat and back rest). Will be sending photo to Days Inn. Won’t stay for breakfast. Too disgusted to even attempt. I can’t see how this place gets 4 ratings on all the sites. This is the only site I didn’t visit before reviewing. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

Maybe it’s because I don’t go to hotels often or because the Unilocal reviews made me think that this hotel was crappy, but I was pleasantly surprised with me stay here. When I called to book, the woman on the phone was very nice, and accommodating when I said I wouldn’t be able to check in until after 9pm, she wrote that down so they would hold the room for me! Then, when I was checking in, the man at the desk was also very kind and made polite conversation. The room was standard, a large king bed, desk, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and bathroom. Everything was very clean and I thought the bed was nice and comfortable. I also forgot toothpaste and they had some complimentary at the front desk. In the morning, I worked out in the tiny gym. There were only two machines – a treadmill, and one that was a cross between an elliptical and a stair master. They also had free weights and medicine balls to use. The gym was very clean, and also had a TV and a bathroom attached. The complimentary breakfast was also surprisingly good. I had an omelette and some fresh fruit and coffee, which was very tasty. They also had donuts and bread and oatmeal and yogurt, also coffee and juice. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the room. It kind of smelled like a mix of air conditioning and smoke that was trying to be covered up, even though I was in a no smoking room. Another thing is this hotel is pet friendly, which can be a plus, but in the morning I heard a dog barking for a few minutes. Right across the street from a Chilis, Olive Garden, Target, Home Depot, Dicks, Michaela, and other stores which is convenient! If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely stay here!

Decent place to stay. Just don’t get stuck with a smoking room if you are a non-smoker. The room stunk awful, so bad went out and bought a candle.

Non-smokers beware! This hotel, the lobby, the halls and the non smoking rooms — all reek of cigarette smoke. Had no choice, only room I could find in Keene area. Terrible odor permeates everything! Also dog lives there, so if you don’t like being met by a dog, look elsewhere. When we came back after dinner, he was locked up but barked and barked. Did not do breakfast, it’s served in the lobby and it stinks, so we checked out early and went elsewhere. No elevator. Ice only off 1st floor lobby. Soda in 2nd floor stairs.

Terrible staff. After driving 10 hours hours exhausted the front desk clerk harassed me because I had a pet, and wanted to charge me $ 20. When I assured him I pre-paid on Priceline he REFUESED to honor this, and I had him call the Manager to the desk. He was even worse, started yelling at me, and then said if I didn’t pay the $ 20 they would turn me away. I had already paid my pet fees, and my hotel fees. Thanks to them I had to drive another 2 hours to find a hotel and lost the money I paid for the night. They were the most rude people I ever dealt with in my life, and then they refused to honor a room I already paid for. Are you kidding me people? I will never stay at a Days Inn as long as I live.

First the pro’s 1. They have a good breakfast served till10AM, which is very nice. 2. They have a courteous receptionist by name Jim, who is extra ordinary in helping the customers. 3. They are just throw away distance from the highway. 4. There are 3 restaurants, Olive Garden, jack horn and chillies less than 0.5 mile from them. Con’s 1. They don’t have a water cooler in the second floor and for our water needs we have to go down the stairs. 2. They don’t have a lift to go to the second floor, which is horrible carrying all luggage. 3. They don’t serve even coffee after 10AM, not even hot water :) 4. The bathroom essentials they provide are of very cheap quality. All together I would give 6⁄10

If there is no place else for you to stay, and you have to stay near Keene, and you don’t mind paying twice as much as the room is worth, and you don’t mind being kept awake and being reawakened throughout the night by the footsteps of guests above you, then this place is for you. The towels are more like semi-absorbent sand paper, but they are clean. The bed was comfortable, and except for the huge dead bug that was squashed onto the wall directly above it, the room was clean enough. I’m sure someone from housekeeping will notice and scrape it off one day. Seriously, overpriced and underperforming, don’t stay here if you have a choice.

We started off for Brattleboro, but decided on Keene at the last moment, so we didn’t have time to do the proper research on accommodations. To me, a hotel room is a hotel room, so we tend to find the least expensive hotel room that is acceptably clean, etc. The Days Inn in Keene was clean and an average room for a Days Inn, though certain not the best. The price was high for what we received, however. It was about $ 70 for a room(off-season), and the heater didn’t work properly. It took hours to warm the room up, which was freezing when we got there. Then, when it finally was warm, it was impossible to keep it warm without it getting like a sauna. The internet was incredibly slow, and the hotel’s annoying message continually popped up. In addition, there were kids running up and down the hall at all hours. I wouldn’t normally take issue with some of these things, but when they charge $ 70/night, I expect it to be far superior to the $ 40/night Days Inns. It wasn’t.

Clean room with king sized bed. Bathroom is clean and tub, toilet, and fixtures are fairly new. Room is supplied with small blow dryer in bathroom, small coffeemaker(no carafe) with drip system directly onto cup. Mirrors in bath, full length mirror outside of bath, mirror above desk. Tv in armoire with 3 drawers underneath. Two nightstands with one drawer and cubby underneath each. No closet, but a wardrobe rack in the corner. Recliner and rolling upholstered office chair. New looking microwave and mini refrigerator with can dispenser on inside door. Heating/cooling unit under the window which is also new looking and works well. Complimentary coffee, and light breakfast fare downstairs. Coffee is available 24⁄7. No elevator here, stairs only. Two short flights to reach second floor. Full sized ironing board, and Sunbeam iron mounted on wall near wardrobe rack. There is a safe located underneath the wardrobe rack. One standing lamp, 3 tabletop. Bed will be made only if you leave the provided card on top(Eco friendliness). Very much recommended. Decent, clean, quiet. Across from shopping center and restaurants.
