Been coming here for years for the pie I don’t really have an opinion on the rest, though companions soup was quite excellent– chicken vegetable. I had the maple walnut pie this time, and it was a lovely change for I’m pecan and only had a tiny bit of guilt for not ordering a fruit pie. Definitely stop here on your way to or from Lake Placid– & then stop at The Birch Store 2 doors down. Unique & beautiful merchandise, though high end(aka pricey)!

Noon Mark Diner is a Keene Valley stalwart. A great greasy breakfast and good value for money, that hasn’t changed much for years. Awesome after a hike. Don’t expect modernity or culinary creativity. Just the basics, done right. Club sandwich is yummy.

Fantastic ice cream. Also had a yummy roast beef sandwich with homemade tomato bisque soup. Highly recommend. Day prior ate spinach salad with chicken. Very fresh. Great place for a meal. FUI no alcohol, nice outdoor patio. Friendly staff

The food here is fantastic and the service can be great but we were greeted by a grumpy woman last Friday evening. We sat outside at the only clean table. The server told us that we couldn’t sit outside because they didn’t have enough people working to take care of us. She quite rudely told us to go inside. As we walked inside, she sat two tables of 5 outside where we’d been sitting. Luckily once inside, Jennifer greeted us and was fantastic, despite how busy she was and how packed the diner was. The food was great, especially the pie. Our party of 4 left happy. The party of 10 was still waiting as we left. Hmm.

This place has been here for years… Stopped in for a quick lunch, burgers and a hot dog… Stand was very friendly… Service was a little slow but I over heard one of the wait staff say that they had a few call-in’s… The burger was meh… Could of made it better at home… And the hot dog was ball park… Will go back to try the breakfast and a slice of pie… Then update review

Pie! Enough said… Ordered homemade meat lasagna and a slice raspberry crumb pie. Both were delicious! Place can be crowded, so arrive early or late.

Had a great breakfast with a friendly waitress on drive in to Lake Placid. The homemade raisin bread was delicious and also a fan of the blueberry pancakes.

It’s cheap and cheery with a solid menu. Bread is delicious, the pies look great(we bought one to takeaway) and really no complaints. It’s exactly what the family expected and good because of it. The BLT was delicious and the burgers were just fine. Milk shakes were good too.

I have not had anything here besides their pie and ice cream. Their ice cream is just okay(I’d rather just stop at Stewart’s), but their pies are so, so good! A good buy to bring home and eat by the fire :)

AHHH!!! LOVE their pies!!! Got the Blueberry Peach crumb this time, perfect in a la mode… YUMMM… Their burger and hot dogs are pretty good as well :) Also, in the summer when the soft serve is available, def try the raspberry swirl! SOGOOD! can’t wait to come back.

A nice place to stop if passing through Keene Valley. Basic diner fare, with fantastic baked goods! The pies are famous, and a must buy when I drive through this area.

Came here for pie on the suggestion of a friend. Service was indifferent and unhelpful. The blueberry crisp was reasonably tasty but nothing to write home about. The raspberry pie was really disappointing — minimal filling between stodgy pie dough. After ordering our pies we decided we wanted to get some hot chocolate as well; unfortunately our server dropped our pies off like a drive-by and didn’t notice our attempts to order a beverage. No one checked in on us again for 15 minutes by which time our pies were long gone and we just wanted to pay and leave. A shame, I had really been excited to try it but we were both very disappointed.

It was a convenient stop as we were heading out of the Adirondacks. Service was relatively fast. Bacon cheese burgers were ok. Small but satisfying. Accompanied by a very small handful of potato chips and two tiny pickle slices. Bacon was well done as requested — and that is always much appreciated. We also ordered their hand-cut fries — kinda greasy. The box of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies we took for the ride home was pretty tasty — lots of big chocolate chunks and tasted freshly baked. Service was good. Place seemed popular — many people passing through. Varied indoor and outdoor seating available. The restroom was large and clean. They had many pies, cookies and sweets available for purchase. They offer many of these for sale through their online website. We just might try ordering one of their highly rated pies by mail order someday.

I hate spending good money on poor quality food in a questionable establishment. We came in on the recommendation of another local business touting how«great» the pie is. We have not found that to be the case. Burger was dry, pie was hard and could not tell it was a cream cheese pie with two fruit fillings. I would not recommend the Noon Mark Diner until Gordon Ramsey came in and revamped the whole thing.

Stopped by this place for brunch when leaving Lake Placid. Standard food options, friendly staff, and tasty homemade strawberry jam. Not a bad spot to stop by when passing through town.

Really disappointed and sorry to see how quality had gone south since my last review. Came here Feb 2014 with same great expectation and a group of new friends. Was bragging about Noon Mark all the way. Ordered portabella sandwich without feta cheese; the wrap was so hot that it was impossible to consume. The portabella was drown in vinegar and totally lost its texture, flavor and basically became a wet mush. As a food lover who hates to waste food, I left most untouched and it pained me to see how great ingredients were wasted due to poor handling and seasoning. Bought their famous apple pie and raspberry Rhubarb pie, each for a steep $ 21. Came home to find the apple pie dry, crust hard and tasted meh. Noon mark you really lost me.

Stopped to get some lunch while driving the Ironman Lake Placid bike course. The wait for a table was not very long. The bathroom always had a line that was multiple people long. Now lets get to service and food. The server only placed three waters down even after being told there were four people. Three out of the four people ordered kids meals that were supposed to come with a drink and never received the drink. Only water. The food was meh, ok but nothing stood out to make me ever want to go back. This place also failed on the service side. I drained my water and never got a refill. Tried to get waitresses attention to get something brought to the table and was not able to. Never got our check so we walked to the check out and they got the check. End of story will not return and the service stunk.

When you are in the High Peaks area, you need to stop here. I keep hearing about the blueberry pie… and I was about to pick it until I noticed cheesecake — and hot fudge at that. Excellent. A great diner in every sense

This is a spot close to some trails that go up high peaks such as Mt. Marcy and Haystack; makes this diner a great spot to go before you go on your hiking /XC skiing /Alpine journey or whatever else you have your heart set to. I went here twice, once before our winter mountain ascent and the second time right after to celebrate. The food: First experience: at night I ordered the bacon burger, medium rare and an order of fries. The burger came out well done and the fries, although made to be fresh cut beforehand seemed to have been sitting out for a while(we were there late). I felt as if I got the last portion of their old batch of fries or something. The service was friendly, though. Three or two stars. Second experience: This was Sunday morning after our winter ascent. We were pretty hungry. I ordered a blueberry pancake and two over-easy eggs with bacon and some of their home-made toast. Everything was delicious. The maple syrup they served with the pancake was delicious as well. I ordered a strawberry rhubarb crumble pie after since, you know — that what they were famous for. It was served cold(taken out of a fridge), but it was super tasty. A little disappointed though. The service was pretty good though. Ambiance: it’s a diner, but it has some cool history. It’s a cool place, but the food isn’t that great. Stick to the pancakes and eggs, the lunch /dinner fare is hit or miss. Happy out’dooring!

Turkey club wasn’t too good. The pancakes though were pretty good. Stick to the breakfasts here. The ‘famous’ pie? Think we got the wrong one. split a raspberry crumble. Seemed ice cold out of the fridge, crust very hard and overall wasn’t anything great. Perhaps other flavors better. They just shouldn’t serve it ice cold!
