I’ve been to several columbian joints around town, so I think I’ve been to a few to narrow down my favorite. This restaurant at least in food quality deserves 5 stars. The bandeja paisa is one of the best I’ve had, Tropical’s uses high quality items for this plate and the sausage, and steak are just better quality than I’ve had elsewhere. Service was meh, mainly because there was one lady at the front and she was on her phone the whole damn time. Even walking up to us while on the phone to ask if we needed anything. I just thought it was rude but I don’t know the circumstances so I will give 4 stars for the outstanding food here.

Great food and awesome atmosphere… Not 20 different colors like usual Latin restaurant… updated style and still authentic Colombia dishes… try the Colombian burger if you brave enough huge!

I love it good food. Tasty nice portions you can’t go wrong. Colombian food just the way it’s made at home. It’s kid friendly and the people are very nice.

I ordered the appetizer Palitos de queso(flour dough filled with mozzarella) which was pretty good and made with not your traditional salty cheese. Also two Arepas, one with shredded chicken, guacamole, and pink cheese, and the other with chorizo, on the menu it said SLICES of Colombian sausage but they gave me a whole one instead and the cornbread that came with it was a bit hard but didn’t spoil the whole meal. And topped off with a Passion Fruit juice, the size could have been bigger for the price but was very delicious none the less and was made in house. I paid $ 20.57, could have been $ 4 or $ 5 less but I’d still come back again. Wide variety for a selection to choose from and a clean environment to enjoy it in. Wasn’t 5 stars because I was hoping for a warm friendly experience with it being a whole in the wall but I guess it was due to the fact that I didn’t speak Spanish. And that my one Arepa wasn’t to what they advertised it to be, and the overall price, but I would recommend to others and DEFINITELY come back.

Delicious & authentic Colombian Fast food!– That should be their slogan… Try the burger and splurge with a fruit juice(Mora in Milk). The empanadas are also pretty awesome, they are filled with perfectly seasoned beef and don’t forget to add the aji. The waiters are actually pretty nice and once you’re a regular you’re pretty much family! :)

Just happened upon this place that I am sure has been here awhile. Ordered a few dishes. We ordered to drink a Piña and Lemonade. Delicious. Really love the piña. Ordered 1 empanada, arepa con chorizo, pollo a la plancha, chuzo de pollo, and patacones con chicharrón. First time eating Colombian food and not sure if I made the right choice to try it now or not. Anyways service was quick and very friendly. I loved the pink sauce which was just ketchup and mayonnaise. My first plate came out not fully put together, which of course I didn’t know. I thought oh it’s just Colombian chorizo and an arepa. Everything was tasty and clean area. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try and experiment new food. Budget foodies might not want to splurge as the price is a little much. Be sure to try an Arepa which Colombian food are known. :)
