Today’s Vision

This place is awesome. Great staff and great customer service. They have great frames from Tom Ford, Persol, to Prada.

The staff is very helpful and patient. I thought they had great selection for glasses and the optometrist was very thorough and explained everything to me. I would highly recommend this location! Very happy customer.

Went to them for a specific frame for my toddler (miraflex). After we picked a dark green frame, they went through our insurance and said we only needed to pay off the anti reflective coating. I paid, and a week later they called and said his frames were in but our insurance wouldn’t cover the frames, and they were sending them to their own lab so they wouldn’t cover them either. They couldn’t explain why they wouldn’t use the lab our insurance covers. I said go ahead because he needed them. A week and a bit later I call them and she says, we just have to cut the lenses, I’ll call when they are ready. Two hours later she calls to say they are ready, we load him in the car, get there 15 minutes later and she’s locking the door early and leaving. She did take us in to get the glasses, and to pay. They never checked fit, of anything just billed us and said goodbye. I wasn’t impressed. Next time we’ll order them online and get our regular Optometrist send them to the insurance lab.
Update: we took our son back to the ophthalmologist because after three day weekend he still was not accepting the glasses and said he could not see. Today’s Vision had completely screwed up his lens prescription. He could see less with his new glasses then with his poor eyesight. They are replacing the lenses and have apologized for the behavior of the receptionist. We won’t be returning but at least they made the gesture so there is hope.

Very nice. My kids are 4 and 5 and I felt the dr. did a great job looking at their eyes and was so kind. They said both kids did not need glasses and we will go back each year for a check up

Staff is great at this location. They are always accomodating and respectful. The optometrist treats my family really well and he’s very personable. The only downside is that I wish they had a bigger selection of glasses, especially for children.

I got a great eye exam at Today’s Vision in Katy from a great doctor but getting my glasses was a poor experience. The office staff is abrasive and borders on impolite when you need their help. My glasses came first in the wrong color then in the wrong size. I got a disingenuous apology from the staff and I ended up having to get my money back and take a prescription with me to go elsewhere nearly a month after I was supposed to have my new glasses.
If you need a great eye exam this is the place to go but I’d steer clear for glasses or if you’d like a friendly staff in case the lab makes a mistake with your glasses.
