Fries and grilled chicken weren’t good like before. Burger seems fine though. Averaged down to 3 for now

Probably The best salad in West Houston. The only place I know of that actually gives you enough chicken. Sundays they have every NFL game, plus $ 2.50 draft beer.

Pros: Stars actually sponsors WAKAs adult kickball league that I manage here in Katy so I am at this place frequently. I love the staff they do their best to ensure everyone has a great time. Food is amazing every time we go. I love this place for the fact that I can go and grab your typical bar type food after a game or get something on the healthy side. Great variety to chose from and it is always good. The food coming out is slow but I can’t blame the staff do to the fact that a hoard of 30 – 50 hungry kickball folks walk in at once and order. I will say the food always comes out hot and fresh and makes it worth the wait. They have tons of TV’s so if you’re there to watch the game you won’t have trouble viewing it at all. They have pool tables, darts and shuffle board and specials nightly. They do awesome events like for example Texans nights where you buy a ticket to the game through them they shuttle you there with an open bar on the way and take you to a tailgate. Awesome if you ask me! As a woman the bathrooms are always clean which is a HUGE plus in my book. Cons: So why the 4 stars? The place is smokey and it makes it hard for people who don’t smoke like myself to go in and stay for a long time. They do have filters but if you have more than five people smoking it doesn’t help. Service is slow sometimes. Not do to lack of effort just short staffed on occasion. Regulars do frequent the place which is totally ok but if you go on a slower night like a Tuesday sometimes it feels weird. They are starting to get a newer crowd just in the past few weeks I have been going which is great but I have felt a little strange walking in their on occasion.

Great place to grab a drink, watch the game or play a little golden tee! All of the food items I have had there as well have always been good! Kinda hidden in the back of the strip center off of grand parkway, but a good quality bar that you should check out!

Stars Sports Bar & Grill is located on the Grand Parkway just south of I-10 in Katy. This heritage establishment has been a neighborhood favorite for over 10 years and a personal favorite of mine for just as long. I have said many times that I could live off wings and craft beer and so I could easily call this place home if I had to. Keep in mind that Stars is definitely an adult establishment with a large number of draft beers on tap, a full bar and shot specials every day. I would not suggest you bring the kids over for a Saturday team party. Katy’s relaxed smoking laws make it a prime location for some, but understand this is your for-sure classic sports bar in every way! Stars does have you covered, however. If you want the same great food, but in a non-smoking, family environment… check out All-Stars Family Grill. We spent Craft Beer Friday out at Stars Sports Bar & Grill, so I had to dive into a couple of Saint Arnold’s Elissa IPAs. We played a little Golden Tee while we waited for our apps to arrive. We ordered Omar’s Special Seasoned Boiled Crawfish, Chicken Wings and the Loaded Nachos. Just thinking about them is making me hungry again. Omar is the lead cook at Stars and I swear that everything he touches with those hands turns out amazing. Keep in mind: if you don’t like your crawfish too spicy, just let him know and he will tone it down a bit. The crawfish was large and in charge today and with my nose running and my lips burning I knew we were off to a good start. «Another IPA!» I shouted to the bar, not wanting to miss out on any of the mud bugs, as I noticed a couple of my friends were moving in on the bucket. Just as we were finishing up the crawfish, the wings and loaded nachos swooped in. Now, the wings are my go-to and these are some of the best you will find in Houston. The special Stars Secret Sauce and Spicy Garlic are my two favorites. They’re seasoned with just the right amount of spice resulting in a wing that is tender and just bursting with flavor. Again, you can ask Omar to tone it down if you prefer them less spicy. I had never tried the nachos before, and boy, has that been a mistake! The Loaded Nachos are tortilla chips smothered with refried beans, taco meat, homemade queso, lettuce and tomatoes with pico, and jalapenos served on the side. The final result was an incredible Mexican pyramid, built to perfection, with an abundance of beans, meat and cheese. I will definitely be adding this menu item to my go-to list. Next, we had two entrees. I love burgers and what is a sports bar without a great one? I ordered the Cheddar, Bacon &BBQ Burger: a half-pound Angus patty with cheddar cheese, two strips of bacon & homemade BBQ sauce. It was just the way a Texan would build a burger: sky-high, with BBQ sauce, bacon and cheddar cheese… a real man’s burger! I really enjoy their special buns which are soft and sweet, like the Hawaiian Buns you get from HEB. Next, I went out of my comfort zone and ordered what our great bartender, Alissa, suggested, the Southwest Chicken. The Southwest Chicken is a grilled chicken breast topped with fresh pico de gallo, and avocado slices and drizzled with homemade Cilantro Ranch Dressing. The chicken was moist and tender and the Cilantro Ranch topping it off was what really made this dish. So fresh and tasty; it felt like the healthy choice amongst this bonanza of bar eats, right? Well, maybe, except for the baked potato, covered with bacon, cheese and sour cream that it arrived with. Ha!

!Beware-A health inspector should stop by this place. I was looking for a parking spot in this center when i drove through the restaurants back alley to find a dirty cooler filled with crawfish. I got close to the cooler but I couldn’t stand the bad smell. I didn’t go inside as I was worried that my food would five me food poisoning. Try not to order any crawfish as they advertise an all you can eat for a small price!!!

Alright. Service is slow but not the waitresses fault. They only have 2 people tending bar and one waitress for the entire place on a Friday night. Oh and the game hogs are annoying…

Let me just start by saying that I love this place Brother. The only place I know that serves Zimas The bartender Jeremy is so top notch. Very alpha. He pours my neat rumple mintz extremely well. The food is amazing. And to top it off, I know I’ll always hear one Red Hot Chili peppers song while Alyssa is working! I wish I could leave 10 stars on this review

Great food, great prices, great service. One night I was sitting at the bar top and I heard a voice behind me ask«hey can I borrow some money» Without turning around I asked«how much do you need?» The mysterious yet recognizable voice said«I need about threefiddy» At that moment I realized I was speaking to the lochness monster. Luckily for me nessy was escorted out never to be seen in that bar again.

My wife and I went on a Thursday aorund 2:00PM to eat crawfish and watch some NCAA basketball. The place was not very busy with about five tables and a few other customers at the bar. Yet, we waited ten minutes for service and nobody approached our table to at least take a drink order. My wife could not believe that a waitress went three times to one of the few tables with customers close to us and never stopped by us. I like to go to places and enjoy good deals(crawfish promotion), but I prefer to pass when the service is so poor.

Bleh. The bar staff needs some more training on how to work their tablea more effectively. Food is great, Woodchuck Pear on draft(odd if you ask me.) Angry Orchard on hand, usually. Excellent martinis and the food is awesome Bring cash and plenty of patience.

Was almost dead on Saturday night, not a very good sign. Nevertheless we had to wait 5 mins for a bartender(a girl) to acknowledge our presence(we were sitting at the bar) No menu at the bar, I had to grab one from a table next to bar area. Decided on boneless wings only to be informed they were out. Bartender(a guy) apologized though. I didnt like the place, they could really use some service improvements and attitude adjustments. i rarely complain about attitude and hate all that attitude talk, but when a girl makes that face like she is doing me a great favor pouring that beer… I’ll pass on that. It has a potential though — pool tables, jukebox, decent TV screens. I ended up at Einsteins that night. As always. I really did want to like this place as its just so close to where I live. Didnt work out. Might give it another shot, but not sure.

saw the sign on the building about all you can eat crawfish friday– sunday. walked in & asked about the special, and was informed they stopped the deal months ago, but the sign cannot be taken down because«it’s permanent.» sorry, the sign is a plastic banner hung on the front of the business. it can be altered or removed with a few tools & a tall ladder. i hate false advertising.
