Bought a custom 8’6″ Steve Morgan Olo a while back. David and the other staff members were very friendly and knowledgable and helped me select a great board. They even sent me pictures of my board while it was being made which was pretty cool. I love coming here just to ogle at their huge selection of surfboards and SUPS. The prices are very reasonable. I always have to force myself to not come home with another board.

I hate going there! I have to bring a roll of paper towel with me for my drool. When I go into the place my mind suddenly gets numb and my eye’s are going a hundred miles an hour looking at all the different types of boards and then there’s a second floor AND a store for all your other aquatic needs. I’ve bought a lot of stuff from this company over the years and the staff is always freindly and helpful…

Bought a 9’0 longboard and 7’10 funboard. Great selection of boards and great prices. These guys are here to help you get on a board that will fit what you want. They arent pushy and wont force something on you that you dont feel comfy with.

Just picked up a 9’4 epoxy board along with some wracks, a bag, and a leash. If you need a board, I highly recommend you go here. Dave was extremely helpful and friendly and gave good information. Especially with myself being a beginner and all, he was nice enough to recommend the right long board. Highly, highly recommend you visit them. They might be a lot out of the way but very loyal. We appreciate all the help we got!

I heard about the surfboard outlet from a friend and decided to give it a try. I’ve had a 9ft board for a while and wanted to transition to a smaller board with better handling on bigger waves and much more maneuverable. The owner showed me all different kinds of boards and I told him I wanted something to transition to. He showed me to the right spot, and I finally found the perfect board for me. I bought a 8’2 Morgan with enough width so I remain balanced while paddling, enough thickness to accommodate my weight and still a bit long enough to where I can still transition no problem. I appreciate the help and will definitely recommend to friends. Awesome customer care!

Purchased a 7’8″ Y. Umeoa fun board here about a month ago. I first stopped in just to look around and Brentt helped me out and spent about 2 hrs helping me select a board to my skill level and performance. He maxed out all of the discounts with the board and accessories. This board is awesome and really performs exactly what I was looking for. I stopped back in a few weeks later to upgrade my fins and once again Brentt helped me out and picked out the perfect upgraded fin set. I will be back there soon to have a short board made for me. I would recommend SFO for anyone looking for a great board with superior customer service and knowledge.

This place is awesome! Everyone was very friendly and Carson did a great job helping me find the perfect board.

Just recently purchased a carbon fiber paddle for SUP. Paddle is light and seems strong. Paddles are precut to certain lengths so make sure you’re comfortable with a few inches off your desired length. Having just snapped my previous Souled Out Surf paddle while surfing, I needed a new paddle. I did buy the paddle at a reasonable price even though they said they won’t replace the paddle if it snaps on me. They also will not adjust the length to your desired length.

Awesome staff very helpful. Everything was ok nothing special. It seemed a little overpriced because I was told it was super cheap and it was standard expensive.

I purchased a Steve Morgan 9′ Olo this past weekend. I went in knowing the measurements I wanted and they had exactly that — I was a pretty easy sell as I already knew exactly what I wanted. :p
This is the third board we’ve purchased from the factory – the others being a 6’10 custom Olo and an Arakawa Bandit. We rarely go in to browse! They have a huge selection of boards and the staff is super helpful but not overly. At the factory, you can pick the boards up, lay them on a stand (upstairs) and take a good long look at the boards you’re considering, compare and contrast, etc. Whereas, when you go into a shop at the mall or a surf shop downtown you typically have the salesperson watching over your shoulder. At the factory you can take as long as you want — as long as you don’t show up right before closing, of course!
When we ordered my husband’s custom Olo (the 6’10) they said it would take about 3 weeks, and they were true to their word. Steve Morgan is one hard worker and makes fantastic boards at fair prices.
One more thing, the salesman (sorry I can’t remember your name!) said by the 4^th-​5^th day I will have figured out my new board, and sure enough, today (we surf every single morning, hardcore dawn patrollers) I had it DIALED! Morgan boards are sweet.
One last ‘one more thing,’ I always get my leashes and board socks from here as they are well-​priced compared with surf shops.

Large two story warehouse interior of locally produced boards. All sizes and shapes, big selection. Prices are good but nothing that is too good to be true. Helpful staff talked me through my needs and we eventually honed in on a few shapes. No hard sell. Small showroom with accessories and apparel. All in all a good stop if you are seriously board shopping.

Awesome customer service! My husband and I went into today to buy paddle boards and were set up with everything we need to get started. The owner explained every aspect of boarding and was extremely patient with us as we navigated the process of setting ourselves up for a new sport. He even showed us an application we can download on our iPhone that tells surf conditions around the island. We will definitely return to buy future boards.

Bought a power cord and it fell apart the first time used it. They replaced without any problem! Great customer service!

Bought two boards there, one 9′ new, and one used 5’10″. Knowledgeable staff, excellent used/​clearance boards. While the used selection is not as extensive as their new boards, the quality is unbeatable.
After going to ~10 places from Waikiki, to the north shore looking at surf board selection, I would buy new and used from SFO hands down every time.

Lots of boards, I mean a lot! neat place, a little out of the way, but fun to go see all the different boards! We had a very nice experience there!

Great place, great deals! Went here to purchase a SUP board & its by far the best deal I’ve found on the island for a brand new SUP board to include carbon fiber paddle & leash. James was helpful and I will go back to purchase another board: D

This place was a great place to go to for my frist board. What was so great is that when I got there they actually took me around told me how they make the boards and even took me in the back to show the guys actually making the boards. it was so cool! they helped me choose the right board within my price range.
I got a great longboard for a great price!
I would highly recommend anyone to go by here for anything they need with surfing!

They have all kinds of boards from Stand up paddle to long boards and funboards to shortboards and more sizes available to choose from. Like Aaron A. said this place does have a lot of boards from from Eric Arakawa and Steve Morgan. I talked to one of the employees he was helpful and took the time to take me to what I what I was looking for.
