I recently came here for lunch. I think this place was great and I would come back but I would be hesitant to order the same meal. I had the salad with mozzarella and tomato with balsamic. It had too much dressing that over powered my salad. I was constantly guzzling down my drink after every bite! And I had two slices of mozzarella and two slices of tomato. That is why I gave it 3 stars. I paid $ 8 for that? I did like the black tea and I really liked that they gave pita bread too. Next time I think I’ll ask for less dressing or just try a different salad completely. My boyfriend got the chicken caesar salad and he liked it a lot.

I picked up the regular Goddess Salad comprised of sweet Puna papaya, Kona avocado & pine nuts over Haleiwa mixed field greens w/their Goddess dressing. I asked for another dressing instead. I got the Passion fruit vinaigrette. It is .75 more for an extra container of dressing. I also substituted the choice of shrimp or steak with the seared ahi. I liked that Aloha Salads allows for that. Although, this salad cost me a total of $ 16.50, it was very fresh and tasty. The portion of papaya’s were excellent as well as sweet. The avocados were nice and firm. This is a great place to have any type of salad as well as sandwiches and wraps as well as fruit bowls.

This place is my jam! If you’re serious about living a healthy lifestyle, but dreading the boring chicken and broccoli diet; this place will be you’re second home as well! The variety of healthy foods this place has to offer is second to none! From local favorite salads(the Ono island ahi, my personal fav), along with soups, and much more; this hip dine in restaurant has everything your heart desires! Whether you’re looking for a healthy post-workout meal, or just a healthy alternative to the plate lunch, this spot is definitely a MUST-GO-TO! And if you’re in need of a fresh bottle of kombucha or a energy drink, Down To Earth is a block away! So go ahead, live the healthy lifestyle you deserve! Aloha… Salads for the win!!! :)))

Waited 25 minutes for a hummus wrap. WTF?! I was not happy. The employee who took my order apologized and only offered me a small bag of chips for waiting so long.(I didn’t take it) They completely missed my order. Funny thing is, this is not the first time. I would have appreciated if the MANAGER personally apologized for completely missing my order and offered me something other than a small bag of chips for wasting 25 minutes my time. Nope. Bad customer service. Then when I opened the wrap, it was hurriedly assembled. It was a soggy mess. The pita bread was wet and mushy. I won’t be coming to this location anymore.

Why haven’t I tried Aloha Salads sooner? This place is THEBOMB! My boyfriend & I were in the Kapolei area & you know, since we’re trying to be healthy, why not try Aloha Salads? We shared the Kahuku spinach salad & the grilled steak wrap. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to actually share w/him. The Kahuku spinach comes w/bacon, avacado, egg, & shrimp! Ohhhh the papaya seed dressing just tops it off. The grilled steak wrap was so good, the steak was cooked just right. I don’t know when I’ll be back, but I’m sure I would totally get the same order all over again.

Often I visit the Pearlridge location, but I head this way if I’m not in the mood to fight for parking and crowded malls. At the Pearlridge location, the island ahi salad is super yummy. When I order it here though I usually regret it. Ahi tastes gummy and old. But tomato bisque and pita bread usually wins me over. Just like Pearlridge location, it’s very busy especially around lunch time. And limited space to eat. There’s an upstairs area available, but feels really tiny, so I usually opt to eat outside in the sitting area there.

I love coming here! My daughter bought my husband and I lunch once and we were hooked. I always get the Kamuela Cobb with the dressing on the side if I’m bringing it home to eat. My husband loved the ahi salad. The other day I got my usual salad and decided to try their soup. The special of the day was tomato bisque. It was THE Ultimate comfort food! I wished I had more. The prices are a little high where a large salad and a large cup of soup will cost about $ 14, but as I read their menu, I could order half a sandwich, a small salad and a small soup for $ 10.99. I’d get a taste of 3 delicious things which would be filling too. Sounds like a plan for next time.

We dropped in here on a lark to take the edge off, and were pleasantly surprised by the noticeably fresh ingredients and pleasing presentation of our Aloha salad. We split a large Aloha Passion(mixed greens, mangoes, apples, red grapes, cranberries, bleu cheese, candied walnuts, and a passion-orange vinaigrette), which was attractive and tasty. It was a little pricey for my taste, though that seems to be true across Oahu more generally. The service(order at the counter) was cheerful and helpful in explaining our options. We were a bit early for the dinner crowd, so the restaurant was quiet and getting a table was easy. Parking in the huge lot was plentiful and free. It was good enough that we’ll likely try their other stores closer to home.

I might have not checked in here 3 times but have been here 3 times within 10 days. The first time I had a tuna salad lunch. The second time I had a steak sub. The third time I had a fruit bowl. I enjoyed my lunch each time and if there was one in the North Shore then I may eat here every day. Their seasoning was spot on… not bland, not too salt, and I can taste my food. It was fresh and well packed since I had take out 2 out of 3 visits.

My friends bought me here in order to help me not starve to death during a challenge I’m doing on facebook that makes it so I can’t eat my normal greasy/fatty foods, at first I was a little hesitant because I’m not a big seafood fan and most everything else had something that I’m not«allowed» to eat in it. I ended up getting a shrimp Caesar, Ahi Wrap and a Tomato soup. — — — Space: The seating area is very small but laid out well, split between two floors there is enough room for a fairly large group of friends to sit down and eat together. Cleanliness: This place was pretty clean, near spotless apart from minor scuffs and daily dirty. Staff & Service: Awesome, they are fast and skilled at what they do, pleasant and efficient. Food Ahi Wrap(Pictured): This wrap was amazing even though it practically exploded as soon as I picked it up. Everything is so fresh and the seasoning on the Ahi itself was to die for, to be honest I was tempted to get a couple more of them to take with me to work later on in the night but ended up deciding against it. .. for.. . some reason. There are signs in the shop indicating that the supply for this restaurant is all«local farmers» and I believe it, very good but really messy, bring napkins up to your table if you order this. Shrimp Caesar(Pictured): The salad was pretty average, fresher than most I’ve had from similar restaurants but pretty average otherwise. What really stole the show was the shrimp, as you can see in my picture the shrimp isn’t just thrown into the salad and called«done», it’s actually seasoned and seared, totally stealing the spotlight out of what I ordered. The flavor of that shrimp is amazing, I’ll go as far as to say that it’s the best shrimp I’ve had thus far and I actually ended up going down and asking for more of it to add to the leftover salad that I was taking home. Tomato Soup: Pretty good, really thick, tastes oddly similar to Lasagna if you drink it with the cheese in there. .. which is not a bad thing, I assure you. Normally I would close out the review here with some sort of one or two liner and a catchy drop off, but this time I put the food through one final test. Will it Leftover? We’ve all be there, you get amazing food and decide to take some of it home only to be greeted with a mouth full of sadness and regret when you microwave it back to live and eat it again. With how impressed I was in the shrimp I really wanted to see what would happen after it had been locked away in a fridge for about 15 hours, so I placed my beautiful extra shrimp order into the Caesar salad and proceeded to leave the house and go build a shelf with my friends utilizing nearly inadequate tools(no offence, friends) from there I went to work and then I returned. I popped open the box and selected my shrimpkabob and ate it.. . it was amazing, even cold with no protection other than my plastic salad container it was still as good as when we sat down. This will likely be a regular stop in the future, and a sure location for a hangout with the rest of my friends. 5 stars all the way.

Food AMAZING. My regular is the Kamuela Cobb and tomato bisque combo and it so filling! I always call in my order because the line is always just about out the door at this location. I deducted one star because the workers here have a slight attitude.

Omg! This place is amazing!!! I wish they had more of them around the island!!! The tomato bisque soup is really good with the amazing pita bread. I love the ahi salad as well! It’s my favorite but I have tried the island salad… can’t completely remember the name. Either way, their salads are delish!!! I wish I lived closer though. This place is the closest that I can get to Panera Bread…

Best spot for a salad! If you want a refreshing fruity salad, get the Aloha Pineapple. It’s definitely a regular order. If you want a filling salad. Here’s my custom order: Spinach, mushrooms, lychee, pineapple, mandarin oranges, steak, and goddess dressing. Let me know if you like it :) Don’t miss out on tomato bisque if they have it! Perfect to dunk your pita bread in.

Love having an Aloha Salads location close to home. Staff is always fast and friendly and the prices are competitive. I love the Kahuku Spinach salad. The Curried Quinoa Salad is good too. Fruits and vegetables are fresh and delicious. I would love for this location to have more seating but it’s cute that there’s an upstairs seating area too. Portions are great and menu is customizable. Just great healthy eats!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for awhile now. The first time I went to Aloha Salads, I was taken aback by how pricey it was for what really translates to spruced up salads with fancy names. Paying double digits for lettuce and a few pieces of protein wasn’t something I was into. Yet, decided to try it plus I felt as if I was getting my healthy on and doing my body good. Granted my body might go into shock with some healthy stuff being pumped into it. A risk I decided to take for all Unilocalers. You’re welcome :) Besides salads, they have subs, wraps and soups. They have combos for the undecided. You pick from a list of items on their menu. I guarantee you’ll find something you’ll like. I got the salad & sub combo which was $ 9.95 and add a drink for $ 1 more. I got the Cobb salad and to be quite honest the portion was pretty generous. Maybe slightly bigger than a side salad. Mixed greens with chicken, bacon(had you at bacon huh?), avocado, cherry tomatoes, boiled egg and blue cheese crumbles. Dressing on the side. Oh and the salad comes with Naan bread. 2 small pieces. For the sub I chose the Italian on wheat. Can’t tell you exactly what was in it but it was pretty darn good. It’s probably about 3″ but it was filling and I couldn’t finish my salad. Ambience is modern with loft seating and seating outside. I can’t eat here very often as it’s a bit pricey for me but if you’re looking for a healthier alternative in the area, this might be what your looking for. Oh and I should add most of their ingredients are locally grown. Support our local farmers guys! Costumer service could be improved. I wasn’t sure how the combo worked and instead of explaining it to me, the cashier handed me a laminated menu. No explanation, no «here you go», just handed it to me. I looked at it and it had salads, subs, wraps and soups listed. I asked her about the combo. She said whatever was the«signature stuff» listed was my option. It was after the lunch time rush, in fact I was the only one in there. A little more aloha would’ve been nice. I mean your establishment is called Aloha Salads.

Absolutely love their kamuela cobb salad! One of my favorite cobb salad with everything included. bacon, bleu cheese, chicken, and boiled egg! I usually get the small size because they usually pack in a lot in that small box but once you take everything out it can actually feed two people(unless you are really hungry). Their pita bread is always so soft and fresh, not too thick so you won’t feel as full after. I would recommend calling in your order especially during lunch hours, that way you won’t have to wait as long when you arrive.

Can’t complain with Aloha Salads, their food is good. This Aloha Salads is located in between Ross and Target, and directly next to this nail salon. I like how they use local ingredients considering we’re in the middle of the ocean. I love their Tomato Bisque soup, it goes great with their pita bread they serve it with. The salads are good too, and so are their wraps. My favorite salad is the Satay salad. Satay salad (red & white cabbage * carrots * cucumbers * romaine * basil * cilantro * green onions * wonton * peanuts * spicy thai satay dressing) The only downside is that the prices can get pretty steep when you want to eat healthy.

Aloha Salads is great for a fresh lunch, it’s not necessarily low calorie, but there’s a nice variety of ingredients to fancy up your salad, plus soup and sandwiches. You can make a custom salad, but I usually swap between the Big Island Beet, Seared Ono Ahi, and the Goddess. The Big Island Beet feels special with mango, goat cheese, macadamia nuts and beets. The Goddess is a soft textured salad with papaya, pine nuts and avocado. The Ono Ahi is the most expensive salad with Ahi, avocado and strawberries. Get the Tomato Bisque, it’s rich and delicious with bits of meaty cheese – if they serve it to you hot, sometimes it comes cold. They have combos, which you choose 2 choices from a small soup, half sandwich, or half salad, but the combos are small. If I’m hungry I get a full size salad and a soup. Save yourself time by calling your order in and taking out, they get busy during peak times and you can wait awhile – like 25 minutes – and check your order before you leave, you might be missing something.

This place deserves 5-stars because, well, let’s just say I’m a huge fan of sandwiches and this place has got their sandwich-making game perfected. I love that their ingredients are always so fresh and I’ve never found a brown tinge on a single piece of lettuce here(shame on you, Subway) I usually get a combo meal because I’m not the kind of person who can just eat a salad and be satisfied. Yeah, I know, shame on me. But I feel that it’s a pretty good deal for the amount of salad you get, PLUS half a sandwich. My favorites are the Chicken Aloha Caesar salad and the Club Sub sandwich. And of course, you can never forget the Tomato Bisque soup. My mouth waters just thinking of it. Since you only get two choices for a combo, I sometimes just get a side of soup if I can’t decide and I want the best of all three worlds. Employees are always extremely friendly and the salads always look so pretty and you can tell effort goes into making them look that way. Thumbs up for that.
