As a business owner myself I’ve given this company the opportunity to return my call and make it right. I ended up on the side of the road with a flat tire and was told it would take a little over an hour to come help. Which after about an hour and 15 minutes they arrived. When Austin arrived he told me he could change my tire or repair the hole(that was about the size of a quarter) and would guarantee the patch for the life of the tire. He said that I still had a good amount of tread on the tire. He said that it would be an additional $ 30 cash for patch the hole. Since I own my own business I enjoy visiting with people. Austin mentioned it was his gas and he drove all the way from Smithville as I was at the Grandview triangle. He said he was only getting $ 10 for the call. He «patched» the tire and then we could hear something rattling. He said, «Hugh, guess whatever punctured the tire is still in there.» He assumed that it wouldn’t hurt anything. I handed him the $ 30 and then an additional $ 20 for his time to help me out. I got down the road six miles and stopped for gas and a drink at QT. Came out and my tire was flat!!! I called Austin and he said, «I’ll turn around and come change the tire.» He mentioned by now he was almost to Liberty and I said I’m 5 miles from my house I find somebody closer. I said I felt that I deserved my $ 30 back. He could keep the $ 20 tip and the $ 65 service call that I made but since the plug lasted 6 miles that’s no guarantee. He assured me he’d make it right. I’ve called this company and no return call! I spent $ 115 with them to be stranded along side the road with another flat!!! I told my car to the shop the following day as I had to replace the tire to find a shank about 6″ long broken in half inside my tire. Just sad that peoples words are no longer what they say they will stand behind!!!

My battery was dead. I had a brand new back-up. I called my ins co’s Roadside Assistance, told them I couldn’t get the cables off the old battery to put the new one in, and an 18 yr old showed up in his own vehicle. He proceeded, against my request, to try to jump the old battery. He reversed the polarity, tried to start my car, and sparks flew everywhere. I told him I didn’t want the jump — again I reiterated I wanted the battery swapped out. He told me I had to give him $ 20 first — and he wouldn’t accept a credit/debit card. It had to be cash or check. I only had temp checks, so wrote a check and left the payee blank. He pried the cables off,(stripping my positive battery cable), the care started — he left. I got in my car to find I had no a/c, power windows, radio, etc. I had to get to work. The next day I called and informed S & S that they would have to pay for damages to my electrical system. The alleged«Owner», Bryan, called me back and tried to bully me, telling me they shouldn’t have replaced my battery, that Roadside Assistance is only for jumps, that I should have called a tow truck, etc. What could I say? I had called Roadside Assistance, told them exactly what I needed, and they sent me this incompetent kid. He ruined the electrical system in my car. I checked the fuses — they were fine — so at the very least, he had melted the fusible link. I was driving my car the next morning and it shut down in the middle of traffic. I had to have a tow to a certified mechanic — and I have no means of getting to work now. The text messages from the«Owner» became so hostile that I threatened to call the police if he didn’t stop contacting me. He continued. At this point I am waiting to see how much the damage from this stupid kid will cost me — oh, and by the way, when I asked the«Owner» for a copy of his Certificate of Insurance, he couldn’t provide one. I made a poor choice in taking my car here before having done the research. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. The towing service was unprofessional. The repairmen did not communicate well. I had to call to find out all the information about what was going on with my car. They would tell me they would call back that afternoon, but I wouldn’t hear from them for several days until I called them again. The repairman said he was absolutely sure about what was causing the problem with my car, replaced that part, and I had the same problem with the car the next day. I now also have other problems just a few days after getting my car returned that were not problems before I took my car there. Basically, I paid hundreds of dollars for my car to become more damaged. I will never go here again.

DONOTUSE S&S TOWING!!! They are the worst. They are criminals. They will lie to you constantly about timeframes. I had 2 people calling to check on where my driver was, because he was supposed to be «30 min away», and 3 hours later, both people were being told different lies by the morons who work there. They are all worthless. The dispatchers, and the customer service reps. If you’re going to screw people over for HOURS while they wait on the side of the road, at least get your shit together and make sure all your moron employees are telling the same lies. I’m also going to find them on Facebook and Yahoo and anywhere else I can think of to make sure I get the word out. DONOTUSEEVER!!! I literally could have pushed my car home faster than waiting for these crooks.

Found myself with a dead battery in a strip mall parking lot. Called my roadside assistance team and they reached out to S&S. They quoted me 30 minute response time, took them 25 minutes. They were friendly, efficient and professional. No problems.

Oh my gosh. This place is awful. They’ll quote you thirty minutes but won’t get there for an hour and a half. This has happened to me TWICE now. I will never ever do business with this company again and I highly recommend you avoid them!
