I.O. Metro

I have the Milo sofa I purchased 1 year ago $ 2000, the cushions are sagging, and the fabric has stretched and balled up.
My original couch/​cushions came April 28, 2014. I was dissatisfied with their appearance and contacted IO Metro the day after delivery. They said they would replace the cushions, and would call when the replacements came in. I followed up with them via e-​mail on May 9^th, and then again on June 6^th inquiring about the replacement cushions ordered. On JULY 29^th the old cushions were re-​delivered. I finally received (what I was told) were replacement cushions AUGUST 28^th. That is almost 4 ½ months after I purchased the couch!
A couch that I was told by customer service would have the «Cores» replaced. I contacted IO Metro 12 months from final delivery. I called 3 times with no return phone call. Finally,
I contacted IO Metro via email and they told me the fabric warranty was covered 1 year from purchase. Problem is, it took them 3 months to replace the 1^st defected cushions, which now I wonder if the truly did.
The customer service has been NO help.
I asked for a manager and I’ve waited 2 weeks for a phone call.

I have yet to order anything from IO Metro yet, but it’s always fun to browse around to see what’s available. I’m in need of a new entryway cabinet/​table and I went here to look. Although the two styles they had in stock would probably not work for me, the customer service is top notch! I’d come back to look again for sure.

The best way to explain this place is that it offers a boutique furniture store selection with a box store price. That’s a compliment. After looking for hours for a specific piece, I remembered this store and walked right in the door and found it. I should have known… every time I go to this store I find ideas on how I want to redo my entire house! The space is adorned with everything from modern chic to old world. Nothing frilly or over antiquish, generally. The best asset? The people working at I.O. Metro. Ask for Patty when you go in. She is super helpful and you can tell she truly enjoys her job. She went out of her way to help me with a special circumstance… and that’s what you won’t find in the big box store.

A friend of mine has been telling me about I.O. Metro for some time now. She knows my love of Z Gallerie and said this place has similar «GLAM» style.
There was a «Oooohhhh» and an «Ahhhhh» around every corner. They have so much! The store appears fairly small from the outside, but it really has a lot. I’d say for everyone’s style.
One thing I noticed is that they have large scaled furniture. Most modern and less expensive furniture/​accessories stores only have smaller stuff. If you have a large space or high ceilings, try I.O. Metro. I also found 10ft drapery panels which will work wonderfully for my huge windows.
And yes, I said less expensive. I was very surprised at some of the prices. They also had a clearance room.
