Since 1992, I’ve always taken watches to them to have the batteries replaced. Their helpful sales staff, low prices and quick turnaround has always brought me back. Recently my watches started to get older and now I needed to have bands replaced. Once again the folks at Island Expression Jewelry were very helpful and only showed me bands that met my requirements. Once a band was selected, I was amazed at how quickly they’re able to replace the original with the new band. Last week, I bought an old GT Hawkins watch at Savers for $ 15 and took it in for a repair estimate. Much to my surprise it only ran $ 65 for a new battery and to have the inside of the crystal wiped down. The best part was it only took 30 minutes to service the watch! Now I have a great watch that hopefully will continue to run for many years. For those interested in new watches or jewelry, Island Expression has all the major watch manufacturers such as Casio, Citizen, Skagen, etc for both men and women. For jewelry they have excellent settings for different stones but diamonds are by far their speciality. Like their watch repair prices, they are very fair and stand behind their product. If you’re on the Windward side, drop by to pay them a visit!

I recently ran into this jewelry store on my way to Lanikai beach. I saw a mounted black and white diamond ring that caught my eye. The store owner’s wife Stephanie helped me out and she was very kind. She told me that they were having a sale and gave me a great deal on my ring purchased. They also waive the mounting of my stone and offered to place a CZ on my old setting. The service was quick and the prices are affordable compare to the mainland. I would definitely see them again if I purchase any other jewelry in the near future.

I took my watch in to have the battery replaced. I’m assuming it should take 10 minutes, but the lady behind the counter had a difficult time opening the back case to change the battery. So, I was told ill have to wait for the owner to come in tomorrow so he could work on it, and they would give me a call when it was done. Two days go by and no call. I end up calling and the watch it done. Not sure why they didn’t call but o well.

One of the best jewelry stores I’ve ever been at. The service is excellent. This store has a wide variety of men and women jewelry. They’ve got a wide variety of watches for men and women too. This store is very reasonable on their prices. They are able to give you great service and great prices that won’t break your wallet. This store also makes custom jewelry for customers at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this store to everyone.

Extremely poor customer service! Last weekend, I went with my mother to Island Expressions Jewelry to fix my grandfather’s watch band. This was our first and last encounter at this place! My mother used her debit card to pay for their service. About two hours later, my mother discovered that the sales associate failed to return her debit card. By that time, the store was closed. My mother immediately contacted Mastercard to report that either Island Expressions still had her debit card or it was lost. Mastercard told my mother that Island Expressions did not call to report her card, so it was assumed that the card was lost. Long story short, my mother called Island Expressions the next day and they indeed had her debit card. Island Expressions did not apologize for the inconvenience nor did they even bother to contact Mastercard to inform them that they were in possession of the debit card. My mother had to drive back to Windward Mall the following day to pick up her card as Island Expressions apparently wasn’t the most trustworthy place to leave even a cancelled debit card, which was a 30 minute drive from her house. Even then, my mother still received not even a simple apology for the inconvenience. To top things off, we decided to return two jewelry cleaners that we purchased the day before. The owner offered a store credit because we didn’t have a receipt; however the sales associate that sold it to us didn’t give us a receipt. The owner wasn’t even able to find any record of the sale, which sounds pretty sketchy to me. We insisted on getting our cash back and not a store credit. The owner eventually gave our money back. Beware when purchasing anything from this place! If Unilocal would allow me to give them zero stars, I would! We’ll have to see if the service rendered for the watch band is as bad as their customer service.
