What a gem this place is! It’s increasingly difficult to find independent record stores, the kind of place where you can just search through CDs and vinyl for hours until you find just the right thing! I just wish it was closer to home! My husband and I were visiting Jim Thorpe for the weekend from the Philadelphia area. I had a wonderful conversation about music and the like with the woman behind the counter. I ended up picking up two CDs and my husband bought one. They have great prices too. Soundcheck Records is a must for us now any and every time we’re in Jim Thorpe.
