I had the best facial here! :) I’ll be back.
The store is very lovely as well, everything is organic and all natural, and it has a very cozy, comfy feel about it.

If we weren’t in a recession/​depression I would be at this store every weekend.
Living around the corner from the place helped formulate my five stars. It’s so hard to find nearby, truly natural/​organic beauty places in JC. The owner, Michelle, also attributed to the top-​tier rating. She’s personable, helpful and can offer cost effective alternatives if a few of her products are out of your price range.
Michelle never upsells and is truly interested in her community.
Skin Organix also offers facials. I treated my sister to one last year and she was extremely happy!

This mom-​and-​pop apothecary could not have been more inviting; this store was the sunniest part of my day.
It was a Sunday morning in Jersey City. I had little to do, and decided to take an afternoon walk. I made sure to sure to stop in Skin Organix, because, well, I was in the mood to treat myself. I had been thinking about a bath towel in there since the winter. Now that is winding towards the season of heated-​water showers, I knew this treat was a fall time GDI: Gotta Do It! It was almost 6 feet, winter green, organic, earth-​friendly, and fair labor practiced– and by now, it was resting on the 50% off table. This sale table is always full of fresh (as opposed to dusty, opened as in other stores) products, and things I wouldn’t be able to afford without the discount. Things like the herbal conditioner or lemon&brown sugar scrub I snatched up recently. Did I mention by now that they have lemon candies, ginger candies, and that it smells delicious in there, as promised on their website?
Every time I enter Skin Organix (stop murmuring «Organixxx» to myself) and stick around, I overhear the proprietor sharing some awesome homeopathic advice. When I got my five minutes to chat with her, I impulsively asked about the facials. There was an appointment for ten minutes later! I took it. The price was fantastic, the ingredients dear and organic, another GDI! The facial was great, grand, wonderful. The kind aesthetician was brilliant and answered so many questions with major sales integrity. There was absolutely no up-​selling or pressure to buy products. I simply left with my towel, peace of mind, and some lavender essential oil pads which I plan to apply to my forehead before I sleep to dream tonight.
