Worst food. I took my inlaws and I was very disappointed. Bread was like an elastic rubber. Can’t describe about curries. Please do not visit this place.

If you are missing the Indo Chinese fusion food from India, give Nanking a try. It has plenty of options and very good food.

If you want stale, uncooked, tasteless and frozen food, then look no further. This is place for you. A cocktail priced at $ 12. Mocktail are priced at 7 $. Samosas fried from frozen. Veggie manchurian tastes like leather. Am not setting my foot here anymore.

I would probably give it zero stars if I could… Had been there on a sat nite at around 8 pm. Absolutely rude and clueless hostess. Who refused to tell us and the other waiting how long the wait would be… She was not interested in putting down any names on the waiting list. Needless to say we left.

The food is so bland. So so bad. Tasteless. They don’t consider special requests like substituting white rice for brown. The paneer is thick and lumpy not at all edible. Never ordering or dining in again.

Delicious Chicken Korma. Service was absolutely great. The staffs were really friendly, ambience is very comfortable. They also have have Thai and Chinese cuisine. I Will definitely come back to Nanking again! :) definitely a must try.

Service was pretty good. We ordered chilly garlic noodles with chicken and gajar ka Hawla. I would order chilly garden noodles without chicken next time. The restaurant is close to the train station but you never hear the train noise. Romantic ambience as well.

Let me start by saying the only good thing for me about this place — food. Try their Kai Chi if you still got appetite for this place after reading this review. So what’s the bad part? Staff and management. Staff is generally unengaged and service is veeeeeeery slow. And 18% gratuity mandated on every check! Even for a party of 2. I can be a generous tipper but not particularly if someone wants it forcibly for a lousy service. So when conveyed to the manager that we did not agree to mandatory tip, he had a mouthful to say. D– for customer service.

Actually its my fault that i came to this restaurant even after seeing that its a 2 star after 250 reviews because of a friend’s recommendation. This restaurant is perfectly rated as a 2 star restaurant. Big cheers to Unilocal for this. Obviously you cant expect good service at a 2 star restaurant but i did not expect them to say«why did you take these drinks?» to us after giving us wrong drinks which were expected for the next tables. The drinks did look like the ones we ordered by colour though so we went ahead to removed the straw caps, even after that they took it as is and served to the next table which was unimaginable. The food, there again just perfectly like a two star restaurant. The chilli garlic noodles for example had noodles but no garlic or chilli flavour but that what you should expect in a two star restaurant.

Food was tasty. And pretty decent for info-chinese. Ordered samosa chaat and calamari for appetizers and had Butter chicken and chili fish as entrée. Wasn’t bad at all.

Food was delicious. The Chicken Tikka Masala was perfectly spiced. The butter naan was also really nice. My friend orderd Nanking Chicken fried rice. They enjoyed it. We finished with Gulab Jamun which was really sweet but after the spicy meal was really nice.

Great lunch menu with reasonably priced plates. The Panang curry was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend if you’re a fan of Asian fusion.

I am totally disappointed with Manking restaurant, we ordered the spring rolls which did not taste fresh we also order the chicken Tikka Masala oh man OVERLYSPICY! and no flavor and I like spicy… we also order the Lemon Crusted Lobster which was the worst of all very little lobster to nothing but a lot of some sort of breading around and again very bland. The bill was almost $ 60, that is very expensive for that kind of food!

Giving 3 stars because the food is really good. The take out works great, but, if you go for a sit down lunch, forget about it! It gets packed of people and the waiters forget about you. No free refills on soda(and no, it’s not clearly specified, nor do the waiters/waitresses give you a heads up if you ask for another). The food is not really Chinese, but rather indian/thai.

Despite the two stars on Unilocal and the warnings from my Chinese coworkers, I decided to venture into Nanking for lunch because I’ve been passing by this place for over two years now and never walked in. Today is the day I give them a try for myself. This place advertises heavily on Unilocal so if you’re reading this, make sure you take advantage of one of its offers. Dining in has two offers: Check-in for free dessert(up to $ 8 savings) and I recommend getting the FBI(Fried Banana Ice Cream) or the Unilocal deal of $ 20 for $ 25. Take-out also saves you $ 2 on the lunch specials Monday — Friday by mentioning Unilocal. Of the five things we ordered, I would only recommend one of them. Recommended: Cantonese noodles — pan fried noodles that come out with a crisp and a moist contrasting gravy sauce Average: Hakka noodles and Manchurian vegetable — The oily noodles tasted normal, nothing outstanding, and the vegetable dumplings in Manchurian dish was sauced heavily and fried on the outside. The vegetable filling wasn’t especially flavorful Almost inedible: Shanghai Fried Rice and Thai fried rice — Both of these used the same rice base but came out with different ingredients. What made this inedible was that the rice was so dry that if you dropped a grain onto your plate you can hear a plink

I have gone their for dinner. The location of the restaurant is very convenient to the light rail. As soon as you enter the ambience is very nice. Bulky chair, tight space, but comfy! The menu options are endless! Their are many great dishes in the menu that should be tried for next visits. The waiters are not so good with their jobs. Took the drink order and appetizer order and disappeared for the whole entire time. Did not check up on us or take our entrée orders. Waited along time to give in the entrée order. When we got our entrée again, no one checked up on us. When we were done, it was like a ghost town. No one to clear out the table or ask for the check. The hostess sitting at the bar chit-chatting instead of getting our waiter. The professionalism is out the door. Minus the terrible service. THECHEF is AMAZING! The lollipop chicken we ordered for appetizer was so delicious and flavorful! Absolutely mouthwatering! Chicken vindaloo with shrimp fried rice was very tasteful as well! The spice level was just right!

Horrible experience today. An hr and 45 min for the delivery after repeated follow ups. This was an order placed on their mobile app. We had made a request to have very little oil in the fish moily. They went the extra length to add extra oil. There was a thick layer of oil on the top. Very sad.
