Burgers at PDQs! Just had the new burger and it was good. Make sure to add a sauce to it. Burger at a chicken place what has this world come to?

Disappointed the last 2 trips. Fries were only warm (not hot) both times and we had to ask for fresh hot batches. Chicken last time had bunch of grizzle pieces in it. We won’t be going back again for quite a while. Worth the drive up to Southside ChickFilA or might try new one on San Jose.

I’ve been to this location multiple times now and a two things stand out for me every time.
1. The service here is top notch. The employees are friendly and efficient. I don’t leave with the wrong order and the food is always hot and fresh.
2. Food is usually pretty good, but one thing that I dislike is that the last couple of times I’ve gotten the nuggets the breading is so incredibly thick that I just end up tearing the majority of it off as it’s kind of gross to be honest. For me the fries are just a miss as they are so incredibly soggy and flaccid. If you are crispy fries person then move on.
I like this place. When I want fried chicken I can go here because it’s close to home and the prices are decent, especially with the happy hour shake deal and if you eat late you can get a tenders or nuggets meal for $ 5. I just would like to see them perk up the fries a bit and reduce the amount of breading.

We love chicken in this family. So we were excited to try a new chicken place while we were on this side of town. The place is big and I really love the high ceilings. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. In s Great location close to the freeway and shopping.
I got the buffalo chicken sandwich w/​fries which was very good. The buffalo sauce is creamy and mild spicy.
The fries were okay. They were shoe string style under cooked in my opinion. I had a side of ranch which I wasn’t overly trilled about but my husband really really liked it. I was told they make all there sauces in house. My husband had chicken tenders and my daughter had chicken nuggets. Their chicken is juicy and tastes really good!
I’m giving this place 4 out of 5 stars because I have had better chicken. I really do like this place but it’s not a favorite. If you are in the area it’s a good stop but I won’t be driving across town for their food here.

Great chicken strips, fries and shaked. Not to mention the homemade sauces! Great staff and food!

Prices are kinda high! The food taste good! Drive thur is always at a good pace also! I would recommend going for the food not the price!

Fresh, hot food. Fries are very tasty, sauces are great. Chicken is… eh. It’s not terrible or bad tasting by any means. It is not flashy.
They are very basic chicken tenders.
However, the service you get there makes up for it. The speed of the food helps too.
It’s good for a quick lunch!

This place is our go to place when we want to eat but not cook. It serves chicken, breaded or broiled fast! Plus blueberries in the cole slaw! who does that? They meet all my expectations for a fast food place with clean tables, fast, friendly service, and reasonable prices. and oh yeah the food tastes pretty darn good too.

My first visit I was amazed at the tenderness of the nuggets, moist and juicy. My second visit not quite so much but still very good. I haven’t decided which sauce option I like best yet but I definitely like to come here for lunch.
I find the kids meal to be a great deal for a light lunch, 6 nuggets a side and drink for less than $ 5.
The line always moves fast which is good for short lunch breaks.

Super friendly staff! And I really liked their food. The fries are good. I had the CALI CLUB CHICKEN SANDWICH, Grilled chicken served on brioche bun with ranch, crispy bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato. I will defiantly get this again.
They have a hand washing station near the registers and I LOVE this idea! Stupid, I know… but it’s the little details that makes it special.
When we were done eating «Batman» came and cleared the table for us. (We came on Halloween.) Cool kid.

From my last review where I got a little bit disappointing salad, the restaurant read my review and reached out to me.
They really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and enjoyed my visit to this restaurant.
I did return and tried another salad, this time a chicken Caesar salad, happy to report it was delicious! The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy (this was my first time trying grilled chicken here and I was very happy with it!) the lettuce was fresh and plentiful, the dressing was tasty and croutons were crunchy!
I really enjoyed it and for a «fast food» place this place stands heads above others!

This PDQ is quite delicious. I’ve recently been sticking to their chicken nuggets. They’re so juicy and delicious ! You can really taste the freshness.

The fries have definitely gotten better! Not greasy or floppy anymore. I absolutely love the buffalo chicken tender sandwich!!! If its your first time try that sandwich!!!

After my previous review, the Operations Director contacted me and expressed his concern over my experience. He made everything right and dined here again today. The fries were crisp and the staff was more than helpful. A noticeable improvement. Bravo to PDQ for actually caring about their reviews.

PDQ has to be one of the worst places ever. The food is horrible, the batter always tastes like raw batter.

Alright, so after saying never again, a decision was made to give PDQ another go. 2^nd trip was much better than the first. Salad ingredients were crisp and the tenders were fresh. I have to say, the tenders are great. Some of the better tenders around rivaling those of other competing establishments and doing an excellent job at that.
The Crispy Buffalo Blue sandwich is very good too. My wife liked it so much that she wanted to have it again the next night!
Fries. They are still a problem for us. Even after asking if the fries were going to be fresh, because of the first oil soaked experience and explaining what happened, we were told «They are always fresh». Ok then. Try them. Still greasy, just not soaked. And they were old. Floppy. Just not good.
Lastly, seems like grumpiest people are always at the register. Which is a problem since they are the «face» of the company and the person dealt with most.

I like this PDQ. It’s quick to get to on my lunch break. The food is always fresh. I wish the fries were a bit crispier. Their homemade sauces are good and the service has always been great. The grilled chicken is too salty for me (and I love salt) so I usually stick to the tenders. The price is a little on the pricy side for me but it is good food

The only thing more soggy than pdq’s fries is my toddlers diaper. Its like they take the fries straight out of the grease and dump them into your box. The tenders are blah. Not really much flavor. The milkshake is too thick for me. And im highly uncomfortable drinking out of that thick straw they give you. Its like trying to suck peanut butter out of a capri sun straw. This will be my last time eating here. For «people dedicated to quality» i havent seen much.

I’d seen the mixed reviews here on Unilocal for PDQ but when I found myself nearby at lunch time, I decided to give it a shot.
The thing that probably bugged me the most is the fact that their drive thru is not set up like most. You pull up to the menu board (which, given the fact that I’d never had their food I need some time with) but you do not order there. You pull a little further to a window and order and pay to an actual person (but now you have no menu board to look at). I understand it in the sense that it’s annoying when people do the «uh, uh, uh» to the person over the speaker while they decide with a «typical» set up but given that I was unfamiliar with the menu and had a hard time deciding between the Caesar salad and the grilled chicken sandwich, I still did the «uh, uh, uh» when I got to the window to order.
I was in line long enough that I was able to pull up the Unilocal page and saw a comment that the Caesar salad was salty so I went with the grilled chicken sandwich. It comes with honey mustard, which I don’t like so I asked for ketchup instead. The young women who helped me at both windows were very friendly, which is always a nice plus at a fast food place.
When I dug into my food a bit later I wasn’t impressed but I also wasn’t especially disappointed. Taste wise, I found the sandwich not nearly as good as a Chickfila grilled sandwich (not as much flavor) but better than Zaxby’s recent grilled chicken sandwich. The fries were very good, I wished I’d thought to ask for some type of ketchup or sauce to dip them in. I’ll probably only go back if I find myself in the area and the parking lot is empty (it was very busy even for a bit of a late lunch).

Happy to have a new fast, fresh option in the Bartram area! I was able to visit during a soft launch during lunch.
I was really impressed with how everything is fresh made… including the sauces. They have no freezers.
I tried a turkey breast sandwich with fries. The turkey was seasoned well, and generously sliced, with lettuce and cranberry sauce. The fries were fresh cut. You can definitely taste it.
I also tried the Cheerwine. .like Dr. Pepper… only better.
Also tried a hand spun oreo milkshake. AWESOME!
The interior is open and bright. Very welcoming. A lunch with drink will set you back about $ 8 bucks. Not bad for something so fresh and good.
I am excited to come back and try their salads.
