I still live here. Stay away fromthis place. Eversince the company Greystar bought this place, it went to nothing. The office closes early but the employees hide inside. No emergency repair or maintenance if you have water leak at 6:30 pm and later. No AC in Texas summer heat, around 5 days to fix. Employees don’t care. What a waste!

Very nice place, even though it wasn’t exactly the apartment we saw before moving in due to it was not available and we saw a 2 bedroom instead of the 3 bedroom townhouse which is okay. It isn’t up to par for the price we are paying. No wooden floors or grantic counters, black splash, bathrooms, carpets average not new. Nothing is new. Issues with plumbing constant toilets overflowing which l’ve been able to take care of myself. Upstairs sinks drains slowly. Not enough hot water when 2 are being used at the same time. When requesting work orders there pretty good. The master bedroom is a good size along with the bathroom & decent closet. The 2 other bedrooms are decent size for kids. We love the fireplace and having washer/dryer hook ups. Nice back patio too. Stair rails not very stable even though they tried to repair it. Now the swimming pools, exercise gym with indoor basketball courts are very nice. Even though they are planning to remove the basketball court. The staff are friendly and they try there best to accommodate the residents. Our agent Ron is awesome and highly recommend seeing him regarding any questions or concerns you may have. Out 1 year is up in June and will be renewing our lease hoping & knowing our needs will be taken care of.

My husband and I have lived here over 8 years. As such, there were so many great things about this community when it was Archstone(and prior Rosemont) that I could not have listed them all until Shelia took over as community manager and the complex changed names/owners to Station at McArthur. Firstly, construction is nonstop, theft has become acceptable and there seems to be limited background checks, if any, on new staff. Just recently our two-month-old computer was shipped back(had some repairs done) and Tiffany at the office signed for the package(did not give permission but apparently this is the standard around here) yet when I went to pick the computer up, Sheila said the package was not there and Fed Ex must have lost it. Firstly, it was signed for by Tiffany(which she admitted) yet the fact it was stolen out of the office is somehow not their fault. Not only that, Ron who works in the office hung up on my husband when he called to question where our computer was. We have since filed a police report but would advise anybody interested in renting to avoid this property. Sheila even admitted they have no system to verify packages, they just sign off without verification or logging them in until later. Sheila’s answer to my computer being stolen was, «I guess in the future we just won’t accept Fed Ex packages anymore.» WOW!!! Not only is she extremely condescending(just read the replies below by management and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about) but also there was no apology or effort to take a month’s rent off for compensation or any slight amount of sympathy… and we have invested in this community($ 1,800 rent per month) for 8 yrs. One would think they might have better customer care towards some of their longer renting tenants. As for the actual apartments, they are in need of a drastic update(we spent money to update them ourselves). Especially the appliances which are extremely old and outdated, the grounds have continued to deteriorate(trash, cigarette buds all over and people not picking up after their dogs) and construction is the norm so it’s noisy and they continue to have security gate issues. In fact, they wielded shut the one pedestrian exit gate which was so nice if you wanted to go for a walk around the canal. It’s like they’ve turned this place into a prison!!! Lastly, we have reported the loud air-conditioning unit outside our bedroom window so many times we finally gave up. My only hope is Nicole(the regional manager) will clean house and get rid of this incompetent manager and restore this community to its former glory. #stayaway

Don’t let the name change fool you folks. Do a lot of research before deciding to live here. This was the Archstone at MacArthur Apartments and you can read all about it here:
