This place is gud for snacks only. We had puffs from here twice. Puffs were soo good and fresh as well .We thought of tryring biryani so we ordered chicken biryani but we don’t like it at all. It felt like biryani was not fresh so won’t recommend this place for biryani.

Do not come here! The food was good the service is terrible! Their employees really need to learn some customer service skills. You walk in happy, walk out angry and upset at the way they treated you.

Alright !! Now whenever I visit during weekends they have pretty good stuff. Food always tasted yummy, ambience is not so good. Looks like old city hyderabadi café. Alas, once I was there one Tuesday evening for some dosa and biryani, yuck I thought chef is off or something for that day ?? Food tasted horrible and disgusting @&$$&&&€£¥# .usually they service 3 kinds of chutneys for dosa, they serve in white colored plates, but that that to drive me crazy they served 2 chutneys and one column was empty, wen I looked at the plate yuck it literally looked like covered with shit $&@@&$$&& I felt like throwing up, when I said politely to that person at counter he is like«clean only no » ???¥### left from that place right away ??? Please consider about people’s hygiene u guys %€#€€ never going back(to prove my statement right, whenever u eat your dosa clean up all the chutneys and look at the bottom of your plates lol try them. U won’t regret lol

Finally i found a place where there are south India bakery items like veg puff, egg puff, plum cake, fruit cake, Dilpasand, pastries and baked biscuits. They also got other good snacks during evening times. But this place boosts that they have got variety of biriyanis and they are authentic. But No, biriyanis are not even substandard and I was compeletely disappointed. Even the goat meat in biriyani was not tender. Wanted to five 3 starts, but for finding this one and only bakery store in Dallas, i would give it 4. Lastly that attitude of the owners(especially the lady) is terrible. As if they are giving us food for free.

So. Learned about this place through my Indian coworkers. There is such a plethora of Indian food in Irving that it’s insane, but they always seem to come back to this place. Now I know why. It’s delicious. So so delicious. Eats: dosa egg dum biryani malai kofta paneer tikka masala veg dum biryani I only ordered vegetarian items, so it’s healthy, right?(jk) To me, the dosa was alright, but maybe I’m doing it wrong. Everything else was spectacular. Since we get a biryani each time we go, we always order the curries with garlic naan. Because why would you order plain naan if you could get garlic naan? But actually. Come here if you’re in the area! Come even if you’re not.

We had paneer tikka, pav bhaji n chole bhature from here. everything was pretty good. it’s an Indian style deli… Don’t expect great décor but food is better than some«great» Indian restaurants

One thing not be missed on a Dallas trip. At least for a South Indian. Wide range of biryanis are the one to look out for. And also the evening snacks and tea.

Not sure how it is even possible that the other reviewers haven’t hit upon the fact that there is a difference of about .5 of a degree between the blazing texas summer heat and the mordor like inside of hot breads. Its literally like you walk in from a 105 degree texas summer day to be slapped in the face by a 104 degree hot breads store environment. Once you get over the daydream feeling that you are about to start seeing mirages and deserts… the food arrives. If you can make it to the food part consider yourself lucky. I ordered the butter chicken here(did not see it on their store menu, but saw it online and by word of mouth). The butter chicken here is a pretty tasty. The naan was pretty horrible though, it was like eating hard and soggy cardboard. If you choose to eat it indoors, you are tempting 2700 gods to strike you down with a heat stroke. The struggle is… kinda worth it in the end. My inner tears of confused joy helped to balance out the tsunami of sweat drenching my forehead due to being in the store for more than 15mins. Overall. mostly delicious food/store needs to learn how to turn on the damn ac.

went here 8÷1÷15 at 5:40 pm to meet with the friend and his family. when i went in they they already ordered Chicken Briyani and Chicken noodles. They ordered to make the chicken noodles less spicy since it’s for the kid. and kid could not eat 2 bites. So I tasted the food and it’s very spicy. We complained and the manager was so reluctant and so rude and told us that’s what we ordered and that’s the least spicy they can make and the kid don’t want to eat the food and should be lying. He also mentioned that they are in the business for many years and they know how to make food. Friend asked for the owner phone number and was never given. We end up throwing the food in trash and left the place. very bad customer service and looks like no improvement even after so many complaints from many customers. The chicken biryani also had a bad smell may be a reheated from yesterday’s left over.

Loved the snacks! Ambience is good enough for a bakery shop. Taste closest to stuff back home :-)

One star because I’m obligated to leave one. This place has such poor customer service!!! I asked the cashier for change because I wanted to purchase something for my niece from the toy vending machine and was denied after having purchased food due to the fact it wasn’t their machine but in their restaurant. Come on now, will desi ppl ever learn the value of customer service? Will never eat there again and do not recommend this place to anyone.

Please note this review is only for the pre ordered cake that I got from here for my BFF’s birthday. The order process was easy — I called 2 days ahead and made my specifications clear about the butterscotch cake that I wanted. And it was exactly how I had expected. Fresh, flavorful and super delicious. The other day, I did try their veg fried rice, puffs and chicken biryani. The food was bland. Not eating here again, but definitely, ordering cake from here.

This is a long overdue review. Where should i start? Perhaps i should start when it was christmas day 2014. It was 2pm in the afternoon. I was driving around Irving looking for something to eat, all my usual cafes and restaurants were closed. Heck, even walmart was closed. Afterall, who the hell works on christmas day? I was about to make a U-turn back home, succumbed to the fact that i’m gonna eat chips for lunch and dinner when i found this place. Yes yes its another briyani place, yes yes its slightly pricier compared to other places you’ve been Yes yes there are much better places around in town. BUT they were not open at that point in time. I ordered a chicken Briyani and waited for about 15minutes. It was served on a tray and the portion was HUGE. Its like the rice was free. There were so much rice on the plate an asian family could eat it for 3 days. The rice was soft and the curry was fragrant. They used sliced chickens for the briyani so there were no bones to take care of. Like what i’ve said, when you’re desperately hungry, go to this place. You will definitely come out a few pounds heavier.

Definitely an improvement in food and service. It was nice for the rice/food to be served not in Styrofoam; additional of stainless steel cutlery was also nice. The butter Paneer was good and so was the garlic naan. The guy at the cash counter was helpful and food was brought to the table promptly.

We went first thing in the morning for breakfast as they opened. They didn’t have vada or samosa ready with the excuse they just opened which is the only reason they got four stars as I feel these could have been done earlier to be ready by the time they open but hey, that’s just me. Someone else may not think the same. Anyway, the food was relatively good. I had the puri and I thought it was really good and my family had the uttapam which they loved too. This place was packed considering that they just opened and we saw many ordering idli which we must try next time.

Lunch and Dinner menu are Ok. Nothing special. Snacks(Samosas, Veg Puffs, Vada Pav etc) are better. Customer service is really dependent on who is serving you. The yonger guys are more friendlier, the elder folks are very non-chalant. and dont really seem to care much.

we love coming here to get their eggless cakes when we need it for birthdays or festivities after prayers. I am not a big fan of eggless cakes but I have to say this place makes the best ones. I especially love the nougat one. I have also tried their naan pizzas with chicken and also paneer, and they are SO good as well!

This place acts like a take-out joint with a few tables to eat at. It’s pretty low on the service scale, but I enjoyed the food. You can get dosas and other more snacky dishes. I got excited and ordered the lamb curry and rice, medium spicy. That was a little hot and heavy for lunch, and with the onion I was on fire! :) Later, we came back here after work for a cup of chai. It was pretty busy, so I’m surprised at the low Unilocal ratings for things like spraying water on cakes, low food standard ratings(C as of Nov 2012) etc. Read for yourself. Would I come back? I’m not sure, but if work colleagues bring me here probably.
