This review is for the location at DFW airport, terminal C. My California club had several fruit flies in it, and I believe I was served old food from here… ekk.

I ate a sandwich here. It was a tuna on wheat with no tomatoes. I have no complaints about it. The man who rang me up seemed perfectly nice, as did the other man who made the sandwich. I drank a Diet Pepsi(I wanted a Diet Coke but they only serve Pepsi) and it was exactly as I imagined it would be. If I ever found myself in this exact situation again in the future I would not change a thing, except I would know better than to request Diet Coke(they only serve Diet Pepsi)

While standing in line I saw them serve a lady cold, old coffee when she asked for hot coffee. When she told them, he suggested microwaving it because they didn’t have fresh coffee. My buddy and I both ordered the tuna sandwich, which the picture displayed cucumbers on it, served on a croissant. We got tuna with some lettuce on a 9 grain wheat. When I went back to get it changed out, they looked at me like I was the one in the wrong. Overpriced too. 13 bucks for a sandwich and a smoothie.

After an extra long flight from Charlotte, we stopped at Au Bön Pain for something to eat, before catching our flight to El Paso. Service was fine. We had a Thai Chicken wrap and a Roast Beef/Cheddar sandwich. Both of our meals were good. Their menu is typical of deli faire.

This is a typical ABP but in an airport. The service was fast and friendly. My only grip is that the bags they give your for your sandwich are just not big enough…

As a rule, I don’t review airport food. I may make an exception for places with big names like Wolfgang Puck or Rick Bayless. I also make an exception, in this case for horrible, horrible, trapped in an airport food. The term«crimes against humanity» comes to mind. We have walked past this place many times. On this occasion we did not have a lot of time, it was close to our gate and there were some sandwiches that we thought we could split. I let Ms T choose and she chose the grilled chicken breast sandwich. There are no words to describe how bad this was. I almost don’t know what to say. This flattened lump of chicken had never been within 100 ft of a grill. I could be wrong about that, it might have seen a grill that was not turned on. It was apparently steamed or cooked in some way that did not involve a heat source so as to preserve the pale white palor, while removing all moisture. I assume the idea is to avoid the risk of the chicken developing melanoma. To convince us of its grilled cred, they used a brown Sharpie that was running out of ink to etch some«grill» lines on the dry meat. The only flavor, since there was absolutely no seasoning of any kind on the chicken, salt included, was garlic aioli. I think it was actually just pureed garlic, so while we did not enjoy the sandwich, the people on our flight a few minutes later would be able to enjoy it. I also had a cup of Thai style coconut shrimp soup. My cup had two shrimp curled up, the size of a quarter. There was no shrimp or coconut milk flavor. The only actual flavor was onion. It was not really any better than the sandwich. We all take our shots at fast food and to be honest we never eat it unless we have to(such as when in an airport), but a chicken sandwich at Wendy’s or something at Popeye’s would have been infinitely better. This is true zero star food.

yes the service was terrible but the goods even their ratings out. no greeting from the cashier. she was slower than pancake syrup and what was even worse was that the credit card machine was down. luckily i had cash. probably won’t be back.

I can only have this glorious sandwich place when I go to the airport, so maybe that’s why I love it so much. It is a delicacy. The club sandwich is to die for. If you’re ever at DFW airport, please chose to pass the time by coming here and eating one of those. It is absolutely the greatest thing that will be placed on your tastebuds in the airport. Screw the McDonalds, I’m going to Au Bön Pain!

Honestly why is it so difficult to get it right when it comes to airport food? I don’t get it, and maybe I never will, but Au Bön Pain is one of the many places scattered among many airports that makes me wish I’d gone to McDonald’s… that’s not a good thing. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? The guys behind the counter were nice enough, and my sandwich was quick to come out, so I really can’t fault anyone here. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Pastrami can be expensive, I understand that, but $ 7.69 pre-tax for this is unreasonable: No Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Fatty Pastrami, terrible bread straight out of the bag, and a slab of melted cheese. Nothing special here folks. That having been said, I didn’t feel terrible after eating, and it hit the spot for a deli craving. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? I hate McDonald’s, but after having shelled out $ 8+ after tax? I wish I’d gone. No Star Granted.

Au Bön Pain is a good option in the airport when you don’t want to kill your diet. Of course it’s overpriced. It’s in the airport!

Womp Womp. Terrible customer service here. Rude staff who obviously did not want to be there. Food is okay, not the worst I’ve ever eaten. The cookies looked good, but I did not indulge.

Pretty positive experience, a small ABP compared to others in airports I’ve been to, but was what I was looking for. Not sure if certain times of day or whatnot, but they have buy one get one free desserts in the evening, probably to help clear out for the next day’s pastries.

Was in the Dallas airpot and stopped for a breakfast bite. The sweet cheese croissant was good but they didn’t toast or heat it up. Felt like they just put a bunch of cold danishes in the pastry window. no prep at all. Cost 2.39 which is at the elevated airport rate. My husband had a cinnamon roll and it was 2.49 and wasn’t anywhere near as good as cinnabon. It’s okay if you need a bite but it isn’t the best.

Early red-eye stop over in Dallas had us searching for breakfast. This place was one of few places open so early. We ordered a perfectly toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese. Service was fast, the lady was nice, and we were pleased with our bagel.

Not a bad option for a quick sandwich when you are rushing through the airport. The chocolate woopie is decent too if you want a sugar fix.

A fruit parfait that tasted like ham? WTFBBQ?!? That fruit yogurt cup had me RUNNING out of my flight to drop off the kids. Not glamourous whatsoever. No thanks. I’ll wait for Red Mango to open up next time.

you seriously want me to pay normal Au Bön Pain prices and the sandwiches aren’t even fresh? She dug my sandwich out from the bottom of the fridge. I wouldn’t go back. There are other options available.

When you need a quick breakfast before your morning flight, look no further. Had the Everything bagel with cream cheese and a bottle of water. Service was fast and accurate. Prices are high but it’s an airport.
