Shout out to the staff here at the Wahoos.. they are so good! Parking in the lot sucks big time, but it is worth it. Food really good, and again, staff rocks!

Live 3 mins away on main and jamboree, picked up the food and went straight home to eat(was eating within 7 mins max of picking up) 2 words. Cold tacos . My experience probably deserves 1 star

Wahoo’s Fish Tacos will forever live in SoCal infamy. I have been a Wahoo’s fan since junior high and I must admit although my palate has completely changed since then, places like In N Out, Baja Fresh and Wahoo’s will take my back to the days when the things that mattered were surfing, skateboarding and summer vacation. After girls, that is. Considering the amount of time that has passed since then, not much, if anything, has changed at Wahoo’s including the age of the average client(still in the 15 – 22 demographic, but in a fun way). Stickers cover the walls, extreme sports is the theme and the prices are quite reasonable. The service is fast casual and the atmosphere is hardcore casual, as it should be. I usually get 2 or 3 skinny cajun fish tacos that come wrapped in lettuce rather than the caloric neutron bomb of a tortilla. Blackened Wahoo is served with a healthy amount of pico de gallo, shredded cheese, cilantro sauce and a lime wedge flanks your plate as a finishing accouterment. Served with a beer, you have SoCal summer on a plate plus and at about three dollars and 100 calories a pop, you can eat them and still fit in your boardies or bikini. You just cannot beat it. Wahoo’s has me looking like Siskel and Ebert with both thumbs up.

Located in the corner of the Park Place plaza, finding parking can be quite the pain. Luckily for me Wahoos is a quick walk from my office so I don’t have to deal with that struggle. During their lunch rush, you can either order online or call in your order to avoid a lengthy wait. I actually find their service to be consistently quick and friendly even if I don’t order ahead of time. FRENCHFRIES($ 2.99) — Fresh and Crispy. They fill the to-go box with fries so an order of this is great for sharing. TAQUITOS($ 4.99) — They have chicken and steak taquitos and an order comes with three pieces. The taquitos are fresh and crispy and it goes great with the guacamole and sour cream that they give you on the side. Even though it is considered an appetizer on their menu, it is usually enough for me to have as a meal. QUESADILLA(cheese only $ 4.99, with protein $ 6.99) — I love their quesadillas! It is stuffed with jack and cheddar and you have the option of added chicken or steak or whatever you want for $ 2 extra. This item also comes with sour cream and guacamole. I get full on ¾ of this quesadilla. Quick and affordable, a solid lunch option. I am definitely not saying it is authentic or amazing, but it is consistently ‘good enough.’ The friendly service is a plus and proximity makes this place a winner in my book.

The food was good, the service was good, people were really friendly, the only con was they cut of the food portion, but still I got full. It’s really close to my work, and food quality is good. It’s getting busy during lunch hours and there is line, but they are really fast. So I was in and out in 45 minutes around 11:45 am in and out by 12:30. Food can have better quality, but service was really good.

Nice place to have lunch, huge tacos — two will do the job. Customer service in the cashier can be friendlier; but the servers are great, they are constantly checking in on you. I would have given 5 stars, but the cashiers need to improve their mood when serving customers.

It’s been years since I’ve had wahoo’s but I remembered how good their banzai bowls were. Thus location is much cleaner and newer than the Costa mesa location on Bristol. I had the banzai bowl with steak and it still as yummy as I remembered. I love that it’s cooked to order so it comes out fresh. The rice is fluffy and it comes with just the right amount of teriyaki sauce.

The service was fast. Probably too fast which is why my onion rings were dripping with grease and uncooked batter on the inside :(I really wanted those too. It was either uncooked or just too much oil, I’m not really sure but most were inedible. The salmon fish taco was the driest price of meat I’ve ever eaten. I made the mistake of not getting any sauce on my way out the door but once I got to my desk across the street I was looking for anything that could get me through eating it. I won’t be back but if yiu go make sure you get enough sauce to cover the dryness of their food.

This was my first time here. I wanted something healthy after my run. Wahoo’s has a fast food type vibe. I ordered a chicken salad and my foodie companion order fish burrito and a veggie bowl. Everything was flavorful and fresh-tasting. The portions were bigger than expected. Service is fast and friendly.

This place is one of the best wahoos thus far ! The employees are always so kind and helpful and the food is always yummy xD I usually go with the salmon bowl which consists of salmon(grilled) rice beans and avocado added, simple yet delicious

After writing a bad review about this place, I received a nice gesture and a $ 10 gift card to dine in at the restuarant which I happily accepted! and decided to give it a second try. This time instead of ordering to go, I actually sat outside and enjoyed the very delicious shrimp plate with a guacamole side order(the gift card said; must dine inside). I noticed it gets very busy at lunch time with business men working in the area dining in alone or with their bodies. I’m assuming a lot of these eligible handsome singles are a big fan of Wahoo’s! I recommend you check it out one day; during the lunch hour.

Love wahoos! This place is always a good healthy option. They have a lots of options and ways you get great flavor and being healthy. You can alwAys see the the plate in not greasy after you eat. Unless you’re getting something crazy like enchiladas. My favorite is the shrimp bowl with Mr. Lee sauce The staff is always friendly and accommodating to requests. My parents go there so often that they all know them by name and what they order! I’ve been to many Wahoo’s and this I think is the best one. Only bad thing s the parking lot sucks specially around lunchtime or prime hours.

Good food, but parking and finding a table at lunch time during the middle of the week can be a huge undertaking. The whole shopping center is amazingly crowded and if you can’t find a spot in the lot you’ll need to park in the structure. That said, my go to here is the Kahlua pig bowl with white rice and black beans. The rice is buttery and probably terrible for you but it’s oh so good. The Wahoo’s bowl with fish is quite good as well. Remember that If you’ve had a rough day or need a cold beverage you can always get a beer.

Shout out to one of my favorite fish taco restaurants! As a fellow health-conscious person it is important for a restaurant to offer healthy options without the large price tag and prepared in a short amount of time to enjoy during my lunch. The tacos are always delish but the bowls are great too! My favorite is the Veggie Bonzai Bowl with the mild fish. I usually select brown rice vs. the white rice and black beans, although one day I may try those white cajun beans! The bowls are a large portion and less than $ 10! Not bad for a warm, filling lunch. This location is a little smaller than the other locations I have been and no full booths. Not a deal breaker but good to know. The layout is nice, the line is separated from the dining area so hungry people don’t stare and drool while you are trying to eat. Again, never a deal breaker but good to know :)

The bonzai burrito here is 5 million stars, my favorite burrito anywhere! It is also the best value here. Obsessed with the bonzai veggies, it adds an Asian fusion twist to your average fish taco, too tasty. Love their service here, cool décor, plenty of seating. Food comes out quickly, I love their salsa and cilantro salad dressing and always add both on the side of my burrito. The bowls are huge, but priced accordingly as well, good if you are really hungry or want leftovers. Excellent lunch here, can’t pass by one of their locations without getting a craving for their banzai veggies!

You know I’m honestly surprised. I was used to the UCI location and they seemed to nickel and dime you for very little, but the one here seemed pretty reasonable. I got the Banzai Burrito and it was a refreshing change of pace, that teriyaki flavor mixed with veggies and carne asada came out pretty good. Even during the lunch rush, we were able to get our food and seats pretty quickly. The prices were actually pretty decent considering that it’s a major lunch rush area in the middle of Irvine. Quick, Pretty Solid Food, and Reasonably Priced makes a great combo for this location and it’s audience :]

Dont come here during lunch hour on a weekday. the parking and business crowd is ridiculous. i only come here as a last resort if im already in the plaza working out at the gym and i have to meet someone for lunch. i’ve had the regular chicken kale kai salad which was really good and filling. but now they have a slim kale kai salad that was posted on the wall. so i asked the cashier what the difference was between the slim kale kai and the regular kale kai salad. she had no clue. so i ordered it anyway(with tofu this time) so i didnt hold up the line. apparently, they just take the tortilla chips out(–_-), the price was $ 8.99. if you want a fancy looking salad, order for dine-in, because when it’s take out, it just looks like a box of a mess.

Some of the best fast food, fish tacos around. I like it better than Rubio’s and Baja Fresh for sure. Really enjoyed my 2 taco combo and their rice and beans are both tasty and filling. Also, I like that they have the hot sauce right on the tables. This location is solid, good friendly service and clean.
