DONOTEATHERE!!! This has to be the nastiest place in inglewood for mariscos. The micheladas are nasty, the aguachiles are nasty. They don’t let them cook in natural lemon. They use the fake concentrated stuff. They brought me the aguachiles completely raw and it had more water than lemon juice. The micheladas had no ice. I ordered a coktel de camaron y pulpo and thats literally all I got… No chopped veggies… Nasty!

The food is good for the price. The overall service could be better. First of all, they never answer their phone for take-out or for any other reason. Want to know if they’re open on a holiday? You’ll have to take your chances and just show up. Want to make a large order ahead of time(you know, for convenience)? Sorry, you have to go to the restaurant and wait. Not sure why they even have a phone. If you decide the eat there you’ll have to really work to get someone’s attention if you want extra napkins, refills, more food. Again, good food. Mediocre service.

Best Cevichè tostadas hands down! It’s not your typical Cevichè flavor but it’s definitely Mariscos Moni’s version where you can taste the mango juice and authentic favors mixed together! Huge portions! Delicious margaritas and micheladas! Will definitely be back!

Let me tell you why I give this place a 5! 1. Food is great! I love the fajitas de camaron. 2. The servers are always polite, and quick! 3. Ample parking lot, and easy to access via century blvd. 4. There are lots of cool stuff hanging on the walls, like oldschool classic mexican cigarettes«faros» the kind my grandma would sell in her tiendita in Tepa. Also, i enjoy the pictures of the plaza of different little towns in jalisco. 5. Price is just right 6. Its very clean, and tables dont wobble. 7. Fresh air/breeze since there are a lot of windows all around creating a spacious feel. Highly recommend, but as soon as u finish eating, bone outta there, it can get kinda shady at times

Came in with my husband on Sunday night right before close time. 8:41pm to be exact and even though Unilocal states they close at 9 pm the waiter who helped us reassured they closed at 10pm. I really expected for the whole staff to be desperate to go home. I really thought that maybe they were going to be rude because you know we came in really late. But NO they were really nice and attentive. From start to finish the cashier smiled and was very courteous. I know what it is to have worked all day and to have that last client who just thought of coming in at the last minute. It’s frustrating lol At Mariscos Moni we received the treatment a customer deserves.(5 stars for customer service) My husband ordered the Mojarra ala plancha and I got the beef enchilada plate. I did not try my husband’s plate but according to him it was really good. He just stated that the sauteed onions were missing(which is why I gave them a 4 star rating) but other than that it was delicious. I was not in the mood for seafood but I was craving some really good enchiladas. They really hit the spot. I cut into the enchilada picked up the piece with my fork and took a bite mmmm cheesy meaty goodness. The Mexican rice was fluffy and cooked to perfection delicious I praised God lol Really give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

After 2 years of not coming here I returned today & I was quite disappointed. I usually order the shrimp tostada and when it arrives I noticed the shrimp were quite little and few :(. It seemed like a veggie salad. I also order the chicken strips but it smelled like fish. I guess not everything can last forever right. I will definitely return to my ordinary restaurant. It was a nice try tho. Until next time

Great place for cocteles de mariscos. I get the baby clams and abulon cocktail cold. You can get it hot or cold I prefer cold. The tostadas de pescado y camaron are really good as well. Campechana two thumbs up. Micheladas are yummy. We didn’t like their aguachiles.

Flavors are ok, but nothing special. Shrimp ceviche is bland and shrimp looks steamed rather than acid cooked. Food isn’t bad, but not good enough for a return visit.

I recently came to Mariscos Moni this past weekend while staying in Inglewood. It was a close walk from our hotel. We sat outside, as they said there was a wait inside, although I saw 3 – 4 empty tables… Anyways, we started out with the free chips and salsa. I loved the salsa, though the chips were a bit stale. We ordered margaritas– I got the strawberry marg. It was pretty tasty and large! Perfect for a hot Saturday in California. My boyfriend and I weren’t too hungry, so we decided to split a dozen raw oysters. Big mistake. They were the worst oysters I have had in my entire life. After getting the oysters delivered to our table, I ask our server where they were from. He said Louisiana… Uh oh. Sounds like some gross oysters from the dirty Gulf of Mexico to me. Ate the first oyster with some gross spicy salsa. After that, I just doused each one in Worcestershire and hot sauce… It hardly masked the bland, dirty taste of the oysters. They had literally no flavor and were big meaty pieces of crap. For $ 16 a dozen, I was hoping to have tasty and fresh oysters. My friends really enjoyed their meals(shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp, and a burrito)… I really wished my boyfriend and I had ordered something else. The oysters were pitiful. I don’t live in California, but if I did, I wouldn’t return here. Our server was very nice and friendly though, so that was a plus.

I’ve been coming to this place for quite a while now and always enjoyed eating here. Today was a different story. We were the first to come in and waited for over 30 min to get our food. While we waited we were eating the complimentary chips and salsa. As I picked up a chip I noticed a bunched up candy wrapper in our chip container. I was grossed out thinking of the many reasons it ended up there. I had read a previous review where someone found an old chip in their salsa who had placed an order to go. Nonetheless, if they are in the practice of recycling chips and salsa they are doing a poor job at disguising it. I think this will be my last time eating there unfortunately.

Hands down the best agua chilles! My favorite is the camaron seronado which I’m sure I spelled wrong. It has this awesome smokey tangy spice just love love it! The cocktails are pretty bomb and its packed with shrimp!

It always trips me out when I see these reviews I review something horribly someone else loves it, I love something someone else hates it! Well I must say every time I’ve been to this place I have the Coctel de Camaron y Pulpo and it’s always been Bombay! Of course I order it with no ketchup! They don’t skimp out on the shrimp or octopus it is just perfect!

I love this spot came my first time yesterday its good I ordered camarones ala diabla woooow I mean that thing was super hot and spicy! But it was good. Came with one of my coworkers for lunch. Had a good time but the bad thing was that the waiter focus on a bunch of people coming in. Instead of the people waiting to order or get something else in there order. but other than that it was good.

Authentic Mexican food in the Wood(Inglewood). My coworkers took us out for a work lunch. I thought the food was just okay. I order the shrimp tacos and thought the shrimp would of been battered and fried. The shrimp was grilled and had tons of cheese with the flour tortillas. It was okay. The salad looked a bit dirty, the chips and salsa, horchata and Mexican rice was okay. The location’s right off Century Blvd… a couple of miles from LAX. It is in the seedy part of town though. Plenty of parking and credit card okay.
