I am extreamly dissapointed about my last visit. I ordered a classic Burrito before work(I work graveyard shift) so I could eat it for my break at 4AM. To my disgust the burrito had the whole chicken tail, bones, and a huge piece of skin. This ruined my meal and unfortunately there are no food places open at this time. I really doubt this was an accident I think it was done on purpose BC the pieces were to big to be missed. I will never ever go back to any pollo loco restaurant again.

Worst pollo loco. I came to buy POLLO and they said it was going to be a thirty minute wait. Completely stupid. I obviously come to a fast food place because I do not want to wait.

This is thee worst el pollo loco… they consistently get my order wrong. Even after they say they’ll fix it, they screw it up again while«fixing» it. They close much earlier than their advertised hours. I pulled up at 10:46 and they blocked the drive thru and locked the doors but they are supposed to close at 11:00. It’s unfortunate because the menu is good but these employees are TRASH and give the franchise a bad name. I really hope they undergo a change in management soon.

Ugh this place is crazy. Every time i come in here the workers have an attitude especially when they mess up on your order. How can you mess up on a chicken tostada no chicken and sub with extra beans i get a tostada with rice and toppings and you have the audacity to get upset with me and tell me you can give me a side of beans no ma’am i want you to make it correctly. The manager takes my recipt and put a free item for next visit how tacky thats ok i won’t show my face here for a while.

I came in at 10:04 doors were closed and I walked to window for drive thru which should be open until 11 pm. Employee and manager told me that they can not serve me without car. I walked for chicken from comfort inn near by. Car behind me offered to drive around and put order for me, which manager agreed to. But there was already line of cars waiting so in about 20 min I was able to pay for chicken after standing in cold rainy night outside with my girlfriend. They allowed 2 people into restaurant(probably off duty employees or friends of shift that was working. All could have been so easy if they took my order by the window instead of incovinien another constumers. No common sense, disappointing.

i cannot emphasize enough that I simply love Pollo locos food. I came through the drive-thru the employee who took my order was pretty quick but she was too quick trying to just get me out of there that she was saying everything with a rush and just handed my order without asking if i wanted salsa or not. Once I take off the wrapper of the burrito that i ordered, i was so upset because the burrito was not tight enough and it looked like they made the burrito in such a rush that everything came loose. it was not even fully wrapped in the first place. I had to try and make the burrito myself. not cool.

DRIVE-THRUEXPERIENCE: Pull up to order a «2PC Fire-Grilled Chicken Dinner» because I had a «Happy Birthday» coupon. The girl asked me if I want the combo(comes with a drink). I told her to give me whatever the coupon states. She said the drink is included, so I ordered an unsweetened iced tea. I also ordered the sides I wanted(rice and BLACK beans). I give her the coupon, and I receive my drink. She calls the manager over because she’s having problems with the coupon code. In the meantime, I took a sip of my drink and it was SWEET tea, so I asked her to change it. She took it and told me, «actually the coupon doesn’t include the drink, so do you want to buy it»? I starred at her with a puzzled look because 1) She said the drink was included 2) She gave me the drink already 3) She waited until I gave her back the drink to tell me it wasn’t included. If the drink hadn’t been wrong then it would have been mine to keep, so common sense(and good business) is to just let me keep the damn drink! Anyway, I left super annoyed with my meal to only realize later on that they gave me PINTO beans. *Sigh*

I asked a cashier 1 question about the difference between 2 different meals and she basically said they are the same and then walked away. That wasn’t in any kind of way explaining to me the difference Between the 2. But I won’t be back long story short. I love el pollo loco. But I guess I have to go to a direct one.

Rocio… Laziest worker there! I couldn’t believe what I saw tonight! A woman asked for lemon because they didn’t have any out. She said sorry we don’t have any. Then finally came out with two whole lemons and handed them to her. The lady asked if someone could please cut them and she said no sorry we can’t and ignored her. Then a man asked for a lid for his drink because they didn’t have any out. She said oh sorry we’re out. And then He pointed behind her and a whole new bag of lids was just sitting on that counter. Then a deaf man came and tried to order and she kept walking away. The people that were off duty were there talking to everyone. So many people on staff and such horrible customer service. Many customers and they felt it was time to chill. Rocio handled money then touched the tips of the forks that she put in the bags. Gross! As for us, we waited 45 mins for our food. I had to walk up to her and tell her that our food was sitting there and she said oh yes we’re just waiting on sides. But they were sitting there too. The girl in the drive thru came out and handed everything to me. She also was the one who came out to hand the gentleman his lids. Too many bad reviews. I’ll be making a call to Corporate in the morning.

6:30pm on a Friday and they ran out of chicken. You have one thing to make and its in your name and you couldn’t do that. Never going back, went over to Panda, no problems at all, they had Teriyaki Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and Orange chicken ready and its not even in their name.

Worst service ever, if you want to eat make sure to get there at least an hour before closing time or they won’t serve you once it’s your turn in the drive thru like it’s your fault that they are so slow. I wasted 30 min in line just so that when I got to the speaker no one was there, not even a damn sorry we’re closed. So we pulled up to the window and the girl said they were closed already and it didn’t matter that we had waited in line

Bought a bean and rice burrito and my first like 5 bites were all rice and the the rest was all beans. I get mistakes like this every time I order a meal. I only come here for the chips and guac, churros and chicken tortilla soup but it’s not enough to go very often.

Its been 3 times and it does not change. Employees do not have respect for Middle eastern lady manager. Management should be changed, place needs to be cleaned more often. Bathrooms were dirty, from churros, napkins, chicken bones, salsa on the floor, dirty tables, and last but not the least overflowed trash cans. salsa area messy. No smiles to customers. A hello and how can I help you should be felt, not forced. Look at customers face when greeting and taking orders, not holding a second conversation with peers.

My coworker insisted that I give this place shot and I have not regretted it ever since. The store is very clean(how a restaurant should be). The staff, especially the managers, are all courteous and always smiling. It is as though they are happy to work there, which makes the store very inviting. In fact, we sometimes all eat at the store now. Thanks for the great food and even better service!

Yeah! I went back to get another $ 5 combo so I can get a receipt and call in on this establishment unprofessionlism. The other day they didn’t give me my receipt. Oh my goodness. These tacos are so dry. The cilantro isn’t cut up at all, they still had the long stem on the which makes it uncomfortable going down the throat, the shells were not cook either. I ordered 2 $ 5 combo’s, so I end up with 6 dry uncut cilantro, uncooked shell tacos. Nasty. They also act like theres a shortage on ice. Becauae it’s gone before you leave the drive-thru. Now let me call customer service because this is uncool.
