The food here is pretty good and the man and woman that own and operate this establishment are very polite. Their crabrangoons are amazing :-)

Located in the North end of Washington Square Mall, in the food court, near the entrance to La Hacienda and MCL Cafeteria. The food is prepared ahead of time, and they serve you out of the steam trays. But it’s not a buffet. You get fixed portions. Served in a stryofoam clam-shell container. You can get it to go in a sack, or eat it at the food-court tables. You get noodles or rice, plus two meat dishes for $ 4.99, plus drink, plus tax. Optional sides include egg roll, crab rangoon, and that donut-y sugary bun thing for dessert. They have a large selection of canned and bottled soft drinks, including 100% juice drinks, and made-in-house smoothies. I think a large portion of their sales must be the juices and drinks. They’ll give you a free sample of the hot items on a tooth-pick. I got there around 6:30pm or so, and the food in the trays looked old, and it tasted old too, like tired buffet items that have sat out too long. Overall, the mall court is clean and modern. Some stores are vacant, and there isn’t the traffic and hustle-and-bustle that malls used to have. It’s clean, modern, and safe. But ambience is what you’d expect at a mall. I will go back to try their smoothies next time I’m in the area, but I can’t recommend the hot food. For Asian food, try«Sakura Japan» at the other end of the mall(near Target) where they cook your meal to order, much fresher.
