I’ve fallen in love with the mobile ordering feature of the Starbucks app, and this is the store closest to my office, so when I’m driving in and I’m feeling the need for coffee and a pastry, this is the place that gets my order. Unlike the location a mile north on 86th street, this place is fairly quiet ad subdued. There’s no drive through, so if you want to get something, you’ve got to park and walk in and get it yourself. I’m okay with this… it means it much quieter than the others. The staff sets my mobile order on the counter so I can walk in, say hello, grab my order and be on my way before the my headlights have a chance to shut themselves off. They’ve learned that I don’t like my pastry warmed up, which isn’t an option to request on the app, but they know when y order comes through how I like it, and they have it ready. Love this location!

If you’re around the Intech Park area, it’s nice that there is a Starbucks. This is a smaller strip location with no drive thru, but it’s fairly quick to run in for your caffeine fix. It can get full quickly during peak times, but they are usually good at handling the rush.

RUDE! Absolutely the worst customer service. I am a former barista and shift supervisor. I understand the rules and that you can never turn a customer away. Customer infront of me ordered her breakfast and drink and she only had a $ 50 bill… technically were not allowed to break it, however as a former shift manager I know for a fact it CAN be done instead he tells the lady sorry I can’t help you then turns to the barista and yells stop making the drink she doesn’t have the money to pay… Yes she did! How humiliating! I’m up next to order and they were so unorganized. I had multiple gift cards on my phone to use up one with .06 another with 2.34 and lastly a new one with 10.00. He was so impatient and asked me if I had enough to cover my drink… Yes sir I do like I stated I have a couple gift cards I’d like to use up first. Next, my drink was made wrong… and when I told the barista she grabbed my drink and slammed it into the trash. When she gave me my corrected drink she was not nice about it. Only Starbucks near my work…

Took them 3 times to get my drink kind of right. After the 3rd time I just accepted the drink. It was close enough and I needed to go. While waiting for them to fix my drink, I realized 2 other people were waiting for the baristas to fix their drinks as well. I recommend to order something simple like regular coffee. It seems like that’s all they can get right.

Your typical Starbucks coffee, good, made fresh, various options. I stopped by on my way to work,(it was 7℉) and found out they do not have a drive-thru. Bbrrr! Still, I got off the car and ordered my caramel machiato. I called the coworkers and asked if they wanted something, one of them flat out said she didn’t, as they do not carry lactose free milk. I was unaware of that and I asked the barista, no, they do not carry it! This is just a suggestion to Starbucks, perhaps they might want to cater to people who are lactose intolerant.

Passing through Indy en route to Chicago. Desperately in need of a caffeine fix to get us through the last stretch of our drive. So happy to see the Starbucks on the sign for this exit. Unfortunately, we pull off to discover the Bucks is a mile off the exit. Oh well, it’s 7 pm and we need our coffee. Much to our dismay, the location was already closed. Please don’t advertise yourself as a viable option for travelers if you’re going to be closed before 8.

I didn’t have a good experience the barista was rude. And the attitude and the vibe in the store was way off. So wasn’t to impressed or even liked my experience.

My near work go to Starbucks. I like this place, the morning staff is friendly and make my lattes right. They have great memories, after stopping in a few times, they remembered my name and what I like to drink(grande latte), and I appreciate that touch of humanity when I am patronizing a corporate coffee house. Yes, there is no drive thru. Why this is a problem, I don’t know, because it doesn’t take any *less* time to get your coffee going through the drive through than it does to walk in the door. If you are too lazy to walk 20 feet from your parking space to the door, maybe you need to reconsider the path your life took that makes that trek too inconvenient for you. Yes, I am chastising people on the internet for being lazy. Deal with it.

I’m sure most would consider me somewhat of a coffee snob. I blame it on being from the Seattle area, which is obviously also Starbucks’ home :) But I am in no way too good for Starbucks. Especially because when it comes for convenience and ease of acquiring said coffee on my way to work, nothing is easier than this place. Usually hoppin’ with all the people going to work in Intech Commons, etc(at least in the morning)… but the staff are nice and pleasant, and they do the best they can in a rush. Thank you, for helping me out when my bod desperately needs to be caffeinated sometimes in the morning. Also, my workplace thanks you for saving my productivity on those days. PS. If you ever get the bug up your backside to make it a drive-thru, DOIT! People will love it, and it may ease the congestion inside the store in the AM. :)
