LA Salon – Geist

Ian Carroll cuts my hair and it is the best cut I have ever had! He also has done color on my hair and I have to say he does the best job of anyone I have ever gone to! He knows his color and he knows how to get results! If you want someone who know what they are doing then you need to go to L.A. salon and have Ian cut and color your hair!!! You will walk out looking and feeling wonderful! Also a very relaxing atmosphere!

I enjoyed coming here! It was a bit of a drive for me but well worth it. When I called and set up the appointment the woman on the phone was so helpful and friendly. She got me set up right away. I had Ian Carroll do my hair (I sought him out! Best in Indy!), cut and color/​color correction. He knows what he’s doing, he is constantly educating himself and stylists around him, and has talent upon personality. He worked late because my hair took longer than expected, but never once made a fuss or acted like it was burden for me to be there (which I’ve experienced at other Indy salons). One of the other stylists was a sweetheart too, staying late to help out, keep company, and educate herself about balayage. My hair is still gorgeous weeks later, and the color looks so natural. The cut compliments my face and works well down or playing with updos. The boutique itself so cute and small, but packed with gorgeous and fun clothing and accessories. The prices for their services are not overwhelming, especially trying to treat myself on a specific budget. I can’t wait to try their other services and see Ian again.

I was in that salon for 4 hours. I have short hair and I got 2 colors and a hair cut. I had brown hair die all around my face and on my ears and in my ears that wouldn’t come off. I have never experienced that before. Dry skin was blamed. It’s not winter yet no my face isn’t dry. I was told it would come off in 3 days. Yikes I had to work the rest of the week. I went home and scrubbed then again that next morning. I finally got it off in 2 days. Paid $ 125. Stressed and will not return. Hair looks good. but I was stressed out!
