This dive bar is located right next to Lucas Oil Stadium. They appear to have lots of regulars, but have been welcoming to my group of friends who have stumbled in on occasion. My only regret is that we didn’t discover the Hoosier Pub earlier. The drinks are cheap, they have pizza if you’re hungry, the staff are friendly, there’s great people watching, and the music playing on the juke box is as diverse as the crowd. There’s a nice patio in the back and I’m not sure why they don’t market that more in the warm months. One of my biggest complaints about this place is the bathroom. There is no door on the stall and no lock on the outside door so anyone can walk in on you. If you listen carefully you can hear the door open and yell, «Someone’s in here!!!» That’s what I do.

I’ve only been here a couple times, and both times have been quite different experiences. Once was a busy weekend night in which we experienced cheap drinks, patrons who may or may not have shown some skin while having a good time with each other, and me thinking I was about to get into some fisticuffs with a rude impatient patron. Second visit was a random weeknight happy hour that was much more laid back, but also included inexpensive drinks including an awesomely icey Stella. I am hoping to come here to watch some football and eat some bar food later this year.
