Went here as it was the first stop on a St Patricks Day pub crawl. «Ewwww» pretty mucb sums it up. Kimmi M’s review is spot on — it is a dark, cold, dirty dungeon with Irish flags on the wall. I would literally never go back here.

Yikes. Kimmi M is correct, this joint is cold, dark, and empty. Literally. Sad really because the space has a lot of potential. However, at current it looks like someone just tossed a few random tables, a bar, and a couple Irish bar-esque flags and banners on the walls and prayed it would be a good time. When you first walk in, there is a huge area of dead space that is half the size of the inside bar area that tricks you into thinking something amazing must be waiting inside for you because why on Earth would you waste precious square footage? Beats me. The drinks were fine, bartender average, bouncers unfriendly. Just so horrible chilly and dark. Like uncomfortably dark for a bar. Don’t let the nicely tiled floors trick you like we did.

Dark. Cold. Empty. A dungeon with Irish flags on the wall. I’ll admit, I think a lot of downtown bars are super cheesy, but this one left everything to be desired. I had to keep my coat on the entire time because there was absolutely no heat in the entire place. The bartender was ok, and the bar let us bring in outside food, but my Smithwick’s had a ton of head on it that never went away, so I suppose I bought ¾ of a beer. I switched to their Tuesday specials of $ 2 domestics and $ 3 wells. While watching the election, evidently the owner became butthurt and changed every single TV to Sportscenter as soon as Obama was projected to win. That’s truly professional. As a sports fan, you know that there are never really any big games going on on a Tuesday. While I appreciate seeing highlights of the Bears triumphing over the Titans, I think it was really rude. I will never come back to this bar. This seems like one of those places that someone bought so their friends could come drink there. Not welcoming at all.
