I feel slightly unqualified as El Chino to review this place, but the food was good and everyone else in the place was Latino and spoke Spanish to each other and the workers. That passes my test for authenticity for an ethnic restaurant.

This is the same location that formerly housed Taqueria Monterrey and then El Sazon– serving the usual suspects of tacos, tortas, etc. I tried an Al Pastor and a Chorizo Taco. Both were respectable — generous filling on soft double corn tortillas. Chorizo was flavorful — spicy, but not«hot». The Al Pastor was atypical, but tasty — no real sauce to speak of, more like dry-rubbed rib tips — with a satisfying crust/char. All served up with a side of sliced cukes and radishes. Sopes weren’t up on the menu board, but I was told they are available — so that alone should be enough to warrant a return.
