Great food, great service, excellent value. The drinks were strong and 2 for 1 the night we went. The portions are huge. Great time!

Service was fast and helpful! Our food was really good! No complaints! Good for kids! We had no wait on a Wednesday evening when Crabby Bill’s had 20+ people waiting. Great place.

All right guys, this place wasn’t horrible. It’s just average Mexican food that you get back back him in Kentucky. They have 2 for 1 margaritas, which were great. Our waitress was the sweetest petite human being you could have and was so busy but did a wonderful job. I had the special combination. It was a lot of food. Personally, the taco was my favorite. Unilocal reviewers, I manage a restaurant so I’m not gonna be a prick and rate this place 1. Not the greatest Mexican food I’ve tried but for the location, it’s not horrible.

I went here with a friend for lunch. Friend the chicken burrito and enchilada. The chicken tasted like it was frozen then boiled to thaw and cook simultaneously. The burrito red sauce tasted like, nothing more than, tomato purée blended with hot water. I thought we could do reasonable for beers but maybe I was expecting too much. XX were $ 4.25 a bottle. At the end of this, I don’t see myself going back.

How is the place still open?!? Margaritas came out of a bucket. A dirty bucket under the bar. Why??? Does this place even get inspected?!?

Ambiance and location are awesome. Service was excellent. Food just so so. Perhaps it’s the region of Mexico they represent that is different that what I am accustomed to? 2 for 1 margaritas most yet not every night. Decent not amazing. Basic Mexican restaurant worth perhaps another try on another day.

On the fence describes this place. The food was good and the service good! I’d go back for those two reasons. However they need to clean the place… The bathroom was nasty and judging by the paper towel roll set on top of the dispenser that was half gone it’s been there a while. My father seen a mouse shoot across the floor. I understand rodents and the constant battle… I’m feeling mixed about the place

Simply awful. Hard to believe Mexican food could be made that poorly. Margaritas come from a plastic tub with a beer pitcher scooping it out. Jeez! Hoping I don’t get sick tonight. TV at the bar was perched on a stool. Needs a total make-over before I’d ever go back. Bad!

Sat at the bar for a drink before ordering food. We stopped there. They dip the margaritas out of a bucket or vat that sits open behind the bar. They just hold a plastic cup by the rim and dip it into the bucket, then pour it into your glass. Because we were stirring there and watching this operation, they put ours in the blender and ran it for 2 seconds to froth up the liquid. No one else got that added«service.» They dipped out more than they needed to fill our glass. No worries, though. They just poured the leftovers back into the dipping bucket. Oh, and believe the reviews about the salsa. It’s like ketchup.

I’m employing the same standard for this place as I did for Slyce. The food is good(very good) but the service is bad. You can get good food and better service someplace else. This place has the standard Mexican restaurant décor. Vibrant colors. Couple of flat screens. Pay at the register. The menu is confusing. There was something like 30 or 40 different dinner combos offered on a menu that was difficult to read and not in any particular order. Could you not just list what you serve and have the customer pick two or three items to make a combo? Must I choose combo #32 and hope it comes as indicated on the menu? Anyway, poor menu aside, the waiter wasn’t very interested in doing his job. Now that I think about it, the hostess was just kind of sitting around too and wasn’t interested in seating anyone. Drinks were good. Food was excellent but the presentation was lacking. Basically, mi abuelita cooks the food and brings it out. Everyone else here just kind of hangs around. Shop around before coming here.

Service was good, food was okay– but the place was filthy. From the bathrooms to the chairs, I had a very hard time eating because I was worried about the cleanliness of the kitchen. The chairs were covered in dirt and mold and the atmosphere was severely lacking. I am glad our service was good so we could get out of there as soon as possible.

We recently went to Los Mexicanos in Indian Rocks Beach for dinner. The food was excellent. Yes, we still had the Margaritas, salsa and chips, but I can now rate some of the food. We both had the Chicken Burrito Fajita. It was amazing! The portion was large and it tasted delicious. I look forward to returning soon.

Had a decent experience there on vacation recently. The food came out quickly and was tasty. Had a burrito, enchilada, taco platter. The house margaritas we had actually tasted like someone had spilled tequila in the glass along with the mix. The salsa served with the chips was a little on the runny side, but not bad flavor wise. Its about what I expect from typical Mexican restaurants here in America and in that vein it did not disappoint. You pretty much know going in what you are going to get. The men’s room is in need of cleaning and renovation. Quickly…

The restaurant is what I consider in fair shape. The cable lines on tvs were just hanging bi guess it’s pretty dirty inside. Staff just hanging out at bar doing shots. Now the food The food I thought was not worth the money in fact I think Taco Bell is better. Got home wide in bathroom. It’s a shame it sucks because it’s in a great spot

I had a decent experience and some good Tex-Mex food here. A friend called me on a weekday night, had a bad day at work, and really just wanted to get drunk and enjoy some Mexican food. I did not drink, but she really enjoyed a few of their cocktails. She said they were strong and a good deal for the price. As for the food? The kitchen puts out solid Tex-Mex food here. Everything was fast, hot, tasty, and fresh. The service was friendly and efficient. No complaints… Even better, to top off your meal, you can simply walk across the street for a moonlit beach stroll without any worries about getting your car towed! My friend quickly forgot her bad work day here in just a short 60 minutes and was back to her happy self… Well worth a try if you want an affordable and decent meal, and are NOT expecting real Abuelita-style Mexican food!

The reviews are pretty spot on. Service is okay, our waitress was nice, but the food is always a disappointment. Salsa tastes like Taco Bell packets and Queso watered down. I really don’t know what to compare the guac to. The only decent thing was the margs. I used to come here a while back and don’t remember it being this bad but this seems to be a pattern. Probably won’t be back.

While at the beach recently, I was thinking about eating tacos on the beach on mexico! Turned out finding a Mexican place near where we were was quite challenging. Found this place on Unilocal, and after mixed reviews decided to give it a shot. Glad I did! Food was awesome. The place had a very authentic feel to it, even the fact that they had floor a/c in place cause apparently the air was broke. Cheeps and salsa were delicious, as well as the queso dip. I got the lunch steak fajitas and they were tasty too. In fact I tried something from everyone’s plate at my table. The server was kind of slow, as it was a slow Saturday and he was talking care of the whole place. I’d definitely go back! Oh yeah, one more thing, just make sure you go to the bathroom before you eat here. Finally, I just got water to drink and survived without incident.
