I was so sad to see they are closed on Monday. Saturday & Sunday breakfast was so good, Biscuits Gravy & Eggs was the Bomb. The Bagel Egg & Ham was loved, Coffee and the fresh squeezed Orange Juice was awesome. The Kids loved the chocolate covered potato chips, Everyone was so happy with establishment.

I had the Pie Pocket (good) and shared a cinnamon slab (awesome). Great place for a laid back breakfast of your nearby. Service was fast and friendly, coffee was great. I would absolutely eat here again.

Awesome place! Breakfast was great! We had the cinnamon slab (to die for), a bagel sandwich, a croissant sandwich, and a fold-​over; everything was exceptional! The staff was very patient, helpful, and nice. We can’t wait to go back to try some more of the sweets that they have.

Excellent deserts and coffee with friendly people working there. Don’t miss this spot.

We love this place. Best coconut cake I ever tasted. Freshly squeezed orange juice is awesome. Breakfast Burrito and biscuits and gravy are outstanding. Coffee is great too. Very reasonable prices and staff are very friendly. Free samples too!

Awesome breakfast and service! The cinnamon slab (their version of cinnamon roll) is to die for!

Quaint beautiful atmosphere when you enter the Sweet IRB bakery. Initially stopped in for their famous talked about breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy, which was melt in your mouth amazing and also had to try the pumpkin french toast which also did not disappoint. Subsequently have been back and had their breakfast burrito which is also fantastic. Love that they have full coffee bar and can do smoothies also. Now to talk about their desserts which of course when you go you need to take something home and the dessert selections of pies and cakes are plentiful. Pies are terrific and the cakes and cupcakes are moist and want you coming back for more. My favorite is the key lime pie and cake. But the coconut cake, carrot cake and chocolate cakes are also wonderful. In speaking with the owners, they have limited hours to the shop because they do a lot of retail baking and custom to order desserts. Also as anything that is baked and not mass produced first come first serve so it is always good to get there early when selections are not sold out. Understand hours are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays open to public but one can call anytime for custom made orders. Need to look at the fantastic design books available of the work that the baker, Melissa, has completed. Absolutely amazing. She even baked and packed me a cake for my grandsons birthday that was taken to Omaha, NE. Cake was a huge hit in sight as well as taste. Love the pink umbrella patio which is also a sign of when they are open. If umbrellas are up they are open. Can not say enough about this place. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. In short summary, love the food!

It is not easy to give a negative review to a small business but my recommendation for Sweet IRB is ‘don’t bother’. We went there on a Sunday evening. Granted it was later and selection was low but we had a couple of different of different desserts and neither were worth a second bite. The cupcake was stale and frosting was sort of greasy. We also got the red velvet cake with cheesecake in the middle and it wasn’t good either. Maybe their expertise is in specialty cakes and they do well with that, but otherwise for what we experienced we would prefer a grocery store bakery over this place. We won’t be going back.

I was referred to Sweet IRB after another cake maker was unable to meet our deadline. With only a weeks notice the Baker here was not only able to take my very crude and for drawing and turn it into what we wanted in time, they just literally blew us away. More than exceeded our expectations a hundred fold. The cake didn’t just look at it tasted great also! Apparently the person who works here is also a sugar artist and they were able to make a beautiful design for my child’s cake. People at the party would not stop talking about how beautiful the cake was and I cannot recommend this place enough to someone looking for a custom baked product.
They also have a small shop on Indian Rocks Beach with plenty of goodies I’m sure anyone with a sweet tooth would like.
Not sure how the other reviewers had any trouble getting here during the hours they are apparently even open late at night for pick up due to them having multiple bakers here all of the time to meet the demand of some of their commercial clients. When I asked what time I can pick up my cake on Friday they just said anytime you want even after 5.

Sweet IRB did an amazing job on my wedding cake. I sent Melissa some inspirational images and her creation turned out even better than my pics! It was gorgeous and she was so easy to work work. All our guests commented on how delicious it was, too. Perfection!

Hours are unpredictable. We tried to go there three times and every time it was closed. No clear hours are posted outside of the door. We opened the door one morning to have the rude woman inside yell at us that they were closed and didn’t we see the sign on the door. Unfortunately, never got to try the food.

Hours and services are erratic, unprofessional and unpredictable. «Food,» is low quality, over priced, and contains transfats and preservatives… with no labeling.

Glad to be the first review! Had a DELICIOUS Key Lime Cake Pop at IRB Greenfest, really wish I had grabbed the other flavors to bring home. The Key Lime was perfection, and it was a much more generous size than the typical cake pop. Check out this sweet gem if you get the chance!
