We ate here recently on a Saturday for lunch. A few friends and family had recommended it. We really enjoyed what we had and had great service. Everything was very fresh and had interesting flavors. I tried their enchilada señora(I think) lunch special. Two chicken enchiladas, one topped with mole sauce and the other with a chipotle sauce. Both were tasty, but the chipotle sauce was my favorite. A nice, smokey flavor with not much spice. The mole was good also and had a definite cinnamon taste to it. The retried beans and rice were mostly standard fare, but done well. My wife had their chicken fajitas. She liked that the peppers and onions weren’t greasy on the skillet and still had some texture. The chicken was marinated in something quite tasty and not dry at all. So this review is based on a limited sampling but good enough for us to want to come back. It’s light years better than the other Mexican place nearby(cantina dos amigos… bleh)

Only two tables in the whole place and took 15 minutes to get us water and some beers over lunch. Service was terrible and 5 out of 5 people said average or below on the food they had. Over priced menu and my nachos tasted like heat and serve Taco Bell flavor. Just so slow so if your wanting to eat in under 1 ½ hours better go somewhere else.

I recently moved from Phoenix, Arizona where, other than Mexico, has some of THEBEST Mexican food/restaurants. Sadly, Fiesta Jalisco is not one of them! We had the quesadilla platter and it was a pile of, well I don’t know what, it looked as if they had dropped it and put it back on the platter. I had the chicken enchiladas with red sauce or shall I say canned tomato sauce. If you don’t want to be disappointed, get the sunburned fajitas, I mean who can go wrong with grilled meats and veggies. Nonetheless, if you are looking for real Mexican food you will be disappointed. I have tried a couple of Mexican restaurants here in Florida(in and around Brevard and Orange counties) and I am so sorry to say that you will not find good Mexican food in Florida. Please don’t be fooled by Fiesta Jalisco’s sign that says«Real» Mexican. Taco Bell(aka Toxic Hell) which I abhor and NEVER go to is better. If you have never had authentic Mexican food, you may like this place, but I’m here to attest this is not good Mexican food… Mediocre at best! ***Attention Real Mexican people who have a desire to start a business venture as restauranteur, come to Florida you will be rich!

At 2:30pm went fof lunch with my son. Ordered Lunche Fajiats(chicken and steak) price is good. Sweet iced tea abd ice water. I think lunch Fajiats were under $ 10 each. Immediately we were given chips and salsa to snack on. The waiter brought our food within 10 mins. Hot and sizzling. Very good. Still had ½ of each serving left to take home. Total bill $ 23. Will be coming back. Pleasant experience.

This place is real authentic Mexican food. Those that say Taco Bell or Dos Amigos is better don’t have a clue as to what real Mexican food is. Update: Been here so many times they know me and my wife. Went there yesterday with my daughter, grandson and son and everyone was very happy — delicious food every time! Going back again today on Christmas Eve for lunch — that’s how good this place is. I would eat there every day if I could.

It is hard to find good mexican food this far east. I am originally from Los Angeles so I do not like tex mex. I also not into sausy fake chain restaurant mexican. This is super authentic mexican food. The tacos are best in brevard. Try the gordita. I would stay away from the skirt steak dinner. But everything else is super.

Been here a couple of times now and although the food was probably the best Mexican food near the beach, that doesn’t say much. Additionally, they don’t serve Horchata(pretty much a staple in any true Mexican restaurant fast food or not). The main thing this place needs to make drastic changes to is their service. You get seated, they bring your chips and salsa, take your order, bring your food then you’re on your own. I suggest you sip your drinks cause they don’t come around to refill and in fact avoid you as much as possible. Our server the first time we went, was just sitting towards the back chit chatting with coworkers for the most part of our dinner. I had to walk back there to ask for a refill. Either they have lazy, lack of customer service employees, or we just had a couple of bad experiences. Again the food is the best Mexican food within a 10 mile radius, but the customer service skills need a definite polishing.

I came by myself because my wife is out of town and I was jonesing for some Mexican food. I’ve been here a couple times before and been moderately pleased. Today I decided to ask for customizations and I was very pleased. The chips are fresh and the salsa is improved. The enchiladas were very good as was the tamale. They offer shredded beef which is great. The margaritas make it even better.

I have only been there once and it was when it was very very busy and I was really impressed with the excellent service we received sitting outside. I’m pretty sure I ate my weight in food because it was so amazing and fresh. The small hiccup in the service we did experience(forgetting our 2 round of beers) I just chalked up to the perils of the beginning stages of opening a new restaurant and it being extremely busy.

I have come to this restaurant on 3 different occasions. Once opening week, once during lunch, and today at around 6:20 on Saturday. All 3 times I’ve had to get up and request water from the hostess because the wait staff do the whole run around looking down purposely avoiding eye contact cause they are so busy. It should not take 10 minutes, 15 minutes and 12 minutes after seating to get water. Yes I timed it. The first time the excuse was they were in their«soft opening» stage. Second time was it was the lunch crowd yet the restaurant was half empty. Today it was«oh she’s getting Your water for you already. Horrible service except for the chip guy he was on point. The food is good nothing spectacular but better than what’s available beach side. You should try it just expect miserable service upon arriving. I won’t be coming back

Okay but nothing special. Don’t get the Chili Relleno, crust is dry and spongy. Enchilada and taco good, not great. Nice outdoor eating area. Interior looks nice too. But I go for the food and it was just average.

I ate here Monday and the food was very good. I’m back this afternoon b/c it’s also one of the few places that serves eggs this late in the day. I think this Mexican restaurant will be a welcome addition to our neighborhood. Only one complaint: Monday night the service was extremely slow; not so this afternoon.

Since the quality of Mexican food in Melbourne is almost as bad as the Japanese food, I’m happy to say that this new place is helping to elevate it. The first thing I notice is the taste and consistency of the refried beans. The beans here are tasty — with the right amount of salt — and you can pick up a bite with your fork. In every other Mexican joint in this town, you need a spoon because they water it down so much. The Spanish rice is fluffy with the right amount of flavor. I had the crab enchiladas which were very good. The last time I went I had the beef tacos, and they tasted great. I’m not much of a chicken burrito or taco aficionado, so I’ll let someone else review that. Overall, a nice place for good homestyle Mexican food.

I ate here 05/19/2015. The décor is nice inside with booths, tables and a bar. There is an outside eating area that seems nice. Tortilla chips and salsa was served when I sat down. The chips were fresh(as they should be) and the salsa was good and the right spicyness for me. I ordered the 3 tacos mexicanos(chicken). The food arrived on time and it was very good although in my opinion, lacking some vegetables. The rice and beans served with the meal was very good. Here is a tip: The brown ceramic plate the food was served on was very hot so be careful. I was told beforehand by the waitress the plate was hot, but my forearm had touched the rim of the plate and got a small burn, so be careful. The service was excellent. The manager or owner came by to ask how the food was which is indicative of a good restaurant. Overall, I thought the food was very good, the service very good. I thought the dish could have offered a choice of crispy tacos or soft but they only served soft. As mentioned before, it could have been better if there were more vegetables. I think the jury is still out for me on this place but they certainly earned another visit from me in the near future. Based on this visit, better than average and recommended.

Recently tried this restaurant and thought it was okay. Not really a fan of their salsa but their white queso was great. I ordered a plate that had one taco, one enchilada(both with ground beef), beans and rice. The beans and rice were basic but good, and I would say that the taco was fairly good as well. Only had one bite of the enchilada because there was so much grease between it and the taco that I feared getting sick if I ate too much. This restaurant is new, so I will probably give it one more chance before completely writing it off. I will say, the service that we received was EXCELLENT. Still on a quest to find decent Mexican food on the Space Coast.

The staff is awesome and the beer selection… ta weno. The food is mas o menos. Salsa is picante y sabrosa. Id suggest this place for drinks and appetizers. Again food isn’t authentic pero it does have flavor. Good atmosphere tabien.

A bit disappointed just another hum drum menu. The chips were fine but the salsa was more the consistency of a dressing. You couldn’t really get any on the chip. I prefer a light and chunky not a runny mess. The shredded beef burrito was more like a couple of big chunks of been and the sour cream and guac were scarce. My friends salad was mostly lettuce again, the toppings were scarce. I also HATE picking up a menu that is dirty(how did it get that dirty in such a short time?) and it looked like the floor and tables needed a good cleaning too. I hope they bump it up a notch. I’ve been to the restaurant in Vero and that one is MUCH better.

A friend and I visited this newly opened Mexican restaurant that happens to be just across the street from us. They were packed at lunch time and we were told we had to wait. We decided to run an errand and return at which time there was no wait. Here’s the pluses: fresh lettuce on my salad which made me very happy. My friend had a chimichanga which she said was very good. Also, a thoughtful menu with many choices and a full bar. Plenty of booths and tables. Minuses: I am vegan and asked for black beans on my salad instead of the chicken. It first came with chicken and when I finally got the right salad it had cheese on it which I took off myself. The jalapeño dressing is on the side and I appreciated that as it seemed cream based. My friend said it was very tasty. My completely biased opinion: Fiesta Jalisco has a few kinks to work out but is a promising addition to our little stretch of A1A. Here’s hoping it lasts longer than the previous 2 restaurants that came and failed before it.
